Ran was contemplating whether to reconsider what Sonoko had mentioned last time when she heard Shinichi about to hang up, and instinctively stopped him.
"I...I want to know..."
Xiaolan hesitated for a while, but the encouragement from He Ye next to her gave her a lot of courage.
"Shinichi, I want to ask you what you really think of me."
Upon hearing Ran's question, Conan's face instantly turned red. After hesitating for a moment, he said, "Of course you are the most important person in my heart!"
However, as fate would have it, the car arrived just as Conan said it.
The roar of the engine completely drowned out Shinichi's voice on the phone, and Ran's eyes turned into tiny dots.
She only heard Shinichi say "of course," and didn't hear a word after that.
"Shin-Osaka Station, 26th, 14:26, Nozomi 25 train bound for Tokyo has arrived at the station."
Xiao Lan didn't hear the announcer's voice at all. After asking the question, her head was filled with a buzzing sound.
Conan was the same; his face turned as red as a monkey's bottom.
Conan breathed a sigh of relief after hearing the announcer's voice: "It seems the Shinkansen has arrived."
Xiao Lan's mind went blank, and she could only give a blank reply.
Then Conan hung up the phone.
Kazuha didn't hear what Shinichi said and snatched the phone away: "Hey, Kudo, what did you say! Hello? Hello!"
