"It feels so good."
A breeze slipped in through the car window and gently caressed Xiaolan's face.
Ever since he visited Kaoru Kusano a few days ago, Uncle Mori seems to have been plotting something.
But no matter how much I asked, he wouldn't say anything. He just gambled on horse races all day and lost every single day.
Uncle Mori was also somewhat self-aware, so he never gambled too much money.
After thinking it over, feeling somewhat aggrieved, he took the initiative to invite Guangyou and a few others out for a drive on his day off.
After driving for a while, the tall buildings disappeared from view; all that remained were mountains and grasslands.
The road was lined with wooden fences, and the strong rural atmosphere made Xiaolan, who had always lived in the city, feel much happier.
"Uncle, where are we going? You won't tell me even when I ask you." Guangyou took a sip of water and asked Uncle Mori, who was driving.
Uncle Mori, still mysterious, replied, "Guess?"
Guangyou glanced at the familiar scenery outside the window and asked, "By the way, this place seems familiar. Uncle, you're not lost, are you?"
He remembered passing by this road just half an hour ago.
Uncle Maori stopped the car and took out a map to look at the route.
This time, the car wasn't rented; the new Ford convertible that Uncle Mori had at the Tokiwa Foundation's banquet had been delivered to the office.
However, it's a bit different from the one that won the lottery; that one was destroyed, while this one was a new one custom-made by the Tokiwa Foundation.
A retractable roof, genuine leather interior, a more powerful engine, and a more stylish exterior.
However, after driving it for a while, Uncle Mori discovered that the car had a huge flaw: its enormous fuel consumption.
"Thinking about it brings tears to my eyes."
Uncle Mori looked at the map and stroked the steering wheel, feeling as if he had been stabbed in the heart.
"Beep beep!"
The country roads are narrow, barely wide enough for two cars to pass side by side, and Uncle Maoli's car was parked right in the middle.
Xiaolan snatched the map away: "Dad, quickly make way for them, let me look at the map!"
Uncle Mori responded blankly a few times before pulling the car to the side.
The truck behind them passed smoothly, and the truck driver waved to Uncle Mori to express his gratitude.
Looking at the words on the truck, Uncle Mori exclaimed excitedly, "That's it! Wait for me!"
He honked his horn several times, fearing the other party might not hear him.
Guangyou looked at the words on it and read them aloud with a hint of doubt: "OK Ranch? What a strange name."
"They probably used the letters 'OK' from Da Nan's name as their name."
Ai, with her sharp eyes, noticed it in the lower right corner of the letters "OK".
This time, Kōyū invited Ai along, but he didn't invite the other kids.
Thanks to that truck, Uncle Mori was successfully put back on the right track.
After driving for another ten minutes or so, the group finally arrived at OK Ranch, or Da Nan Ranch.
There is a large area around the ranch used as a racecourse, and behind the ranch are endless forests and continuous mountains.
The air in the pasture is different from that in the deep mountains and forests; it also has a lingering, unpleasant smell.
OK Ranch specializes in raising horses; you won't see any other cattle or sheep, only horses.
This made the group understand Uncle Mori's purpose: he simply wanted to satisfy Mori's interest in horseback riding.
"This is horse racing betting, and you want to go in yourself?"
Not only Uncle Mori, but even Kōsuke himself is somewhat interested in horseback riding.
Galloping on horseback is every man's dream.
Whether it's a real horse or a fake one, aside from monks who have already entered the Buddhist order, perhaps no normal man could resist such a temptation.
As for what it means?
My own understanding is that, as the Buddha said, "It cannot be spoken."
After arriving at the ranch, Uncle Maoli kept smiling and said, "You can fully enjoy the fun of nature here."
"go out!"
The group was chatting when suddenly a roar came from inside the room.
Not long after he finished yelling, the door opened, and a middle-aged man who looked like a businessman walked out with his hands behind his back, completely ignoring the other middle-aged man in the room dressed in cowboy attire.
"I'll leave even if you don't chase me away, don't worry."
The entrepreneur walked out the door without turning back, his face expressionless: "But I advise you not to miss the opportunity to sell the ranch."
After saying that, he laughed and walked out of the ranch.
The middle-aged man put on a cowboy hat and, contrary to his previous attitude, said to the group in a very calm manner: "I'm sorry you all laughed at me just now. Welcome to OK Ranch. I am the owner here, Da Nan Youzhi."
The name of the ranch was strange, but after Ai explained it, the others didn't ask any more questions.
Suddenly remembering something, Yuzhi picked up a bag of chocolates from the table next to him.
"Would you three like some? This chocolate tastes really good."
They all refused; Kwang-yu didn't like dark chocolate.
Yu-zhi didn't insist, and got up to play the cowboy gunfight with the chocolate.
This move caught the attention of everyone except for Mitsuyu and Ai.
"I'm sorry I'm late. I'm Sanae Takeuchi, the guide."
Sanae Takeuchi has an ordinary appearance, but she has a unique heroic spirit.
Led by her, the group arrived at the stables.
The stables at KO Ranch are very large.
Stepping into the stable, the peculiar smell hit them right in the head, causing Kōyū and Ayane to frown slightly.
Uncle Mori stopped and looked at the gray horse in front of him.
After thinking for only a few seconds, Uncle Mori recognized the horse in front of him.
However, just to be on the safe side, he asked with slight hesitation, "Could this horse be Mrs. Lipp?"
