Chapter 306 Guangyou's Identity, the Crime King

"But it's all in English, how am I supposed to find it?"

Yuan Tai flipped through the book, looking at the letters on it with a rather helpless expression.

"Preliminary investigation into the crime..."

Yuan Tai stared wide-eyed at the book. "Wow, I'm a genius! I can actually understand English now!"

Kōyū explained, "In this game, English is automatically translated into Japanese, so you guys don't actually understand English yet."

Genta sighed, "Then I really want to stay in the game forever."

Guangyou also curiously flipped through these books.

A book from a hundred years ago still has some interest.

Holmes's bookshelves naturally didn't contain books about love and romance; they were mostly filled with materials he had collected and organized.

The rest are books about chemistry, psychology, and various books related to solving crimes.

"This should be it!"

Xiaolan took a book from the bookshelf, checked the words on the cover, and placed it on the coffee table after confirming its authenticity.

Guangyou wasn't interested in the information, since he had already been kicked off the player list by Noah's Ark.

I picked up the milk tea from the coffee table and walked to the window.

Thick fog still lingered outside the window, obscuring the buildings that appeared and disappeared in the mist.

The streets remained deserted; only the rooms with their lights on proved that the city was not a ghost town.

In this environment, people similar to Jack the Ripper became active.

They always lurk in dark corners, lurking like venomous snakes.

Evil always breeds in places like this, and no one can stop it; not even Sherlock Holmes could eliminate all the evil in this city.

"Kuangyou, aren't you leaving?"

Conan called out to Kousuke, "We're going to find Moriarty, aren't you coming?"

Guangyou didn't even turn his head, just waved his hand and said, "I'm not going. Be careful."

The two had collaborated many times, and they understood each other's meaning with just a few words.

Besides Ran, Guangyou can also be considered an adult at this point, and with Guangyou around, the safety factor will always be higher.

Guangyou can't go; according to his prediction, his character will be appearing soon.

Conan and the others left, and the milk tea in Guangyou's cup was empty.

After taking the last sip with lingering satisfaction, Guangyou pushed open the door and went downstairs.

"Mrs. Hudson, it seems Mr. Holmes won't be returning today, so I won't bother you any longer."

After putting on his hat, Kōyū thanked Hudson, "Thank you for the milk tea, it was delicious."

Hudson is a good man, and he always has a smile on his face.

She even came out of her room to see Guangyou off.

After Guangyou went out, he bowed to her again, put his hat back on, and wandered aimlessly through the streets.

Sure enough, not long after he walked out, Hiroki's voice rang in Kouyu's mind.

"Your character is about to appear, so get ready."

Guangyou smiled slightly: "Always ready."

If his guess is correct, then his upcoming meeting with Conan will be quite dramatic.

His vision blurred again, but Guangyou was already used to it.

When his vision cleared, he found himself dressed as a coachman, standing in front of a poker club.

"That's exactly what I thought."

As Guangyou spoke, he walked towards the back door; at this moment, he needed to remain silent.

Hiroki's adjustments also changed his appearance, so Conan couldn't recognize him for the time being.

"Excuse me, Lord Moriarty said he wants to see you all."

Guangyou bowed slightly, like a servant, "He's waiting for you in the carriage. Please follow me this way."

"Please wait a moment!"

Upon hearing this, Kōyū paused slightly, turned his head slightly, and looked coldly at the man: "Do you intend to defy Lord Moriarty?"

The man trembled twice, then turned his head away and remained silent.

Guangyou continued to lead the way on his own, and when he reached the carriage, he bowed and said, "I have brought them all."

“Well done, then, little brother, you can give me that bottle of red wine now.”

The person in the car was just a puppet; the one speaking at this moment was Guangyou, but he was using ventriloquism.

After saying that, Guangyou stepped forward, took the red wine, and placed it behind the carriage. At the same time, he said in ventriloquism, "Young man, you can compete with Colonel Menglang. You are truly worthy of being Sherlock Holmes' apprentice."

"What do you want from me?"

Everything proceeded according to the original plot, and Hiroki, who was observing from the shadows, nodded in approval.

"Uncle, you're not Professor Moriarty, are you?"

Conan chuckled and pointed at Kōyū, who was standing bowing to the side, "The real Professor Moriarty should be you, right?"

Guangyou chuckled a few times, took off the hat he was wearing, and straightened up his hunched body: "You're a good kid. What do you want from me? Tell me quickly."

"That Jack the Ripper was someone the professor put on the streets to make London a city of terror, right?"

Kōyū looked at Conan and said, "Why should I tell you?"

"So what if it is, and so what if it isn't?"

Conan was speechless.

"But I'm in a good mood today, so I can tell you that you're half right."

Guangyou said with a smile, "He was a homeless child I picked up in the slums. He was abandoned by his mother. I saw his talent at a glance, the talent to become a criminal."

"However, he seems to be out of control, and the recent cases are all caused by his loss of control."

Conan sensed an opportunity and quickly said, "I think you, Professor, really want the out-of-control Jack the Ripper to disappear, since he's of very little use when he's out of control."
