Chapter 329 said a lot, but I didn't understand a single word.

The crew-cut Yokomi was stunned for a moment. Looking at the note in Conan's hand, he hesitated for a moment, but finally took the note.

"Please thank Mr. Mori for me."

After saying that, he turned around, opened the car door, started the car, and drove back the way he came.

Seeing this, Conan also turned around and prepared to return to the ward.

Cun Tou Heng Gou drove out of the hospital gate and parked directly on the side of the road.

He picked up the note he had just placed on the passenger seat, looked at the words on it, and his eyes became slightly serious.

Before he had even finished watching, he picked up the walkie-talkie and said to the police officers still at the scene, "Secure the scene for me. Those three people must not be let go, especially that director, Iso Haizang."

...

"How is Xiaolan?"

Conan gently pushed open the hospital room door and quietly walked in.

Uncle Mori went to register and pay, so he's not in the ward.

"Xiao Lan had a high fever. The doctor said it was due to overwork leading to a weakened immune system, coupled with the recent cold air."

Guangyou looked at the woman lying in bed receiving an IV drip; her brows had relaxed, but her beautiful face was pale with a sickly pallor.

However, this still did not affect her beautiful appearance. She breathed lightly, and the corners of her mouth curved slightly, as if she had thought of something happy.

"It seems she dreamed of something very happy."

Conan looked at Ran's delicate sleeping face, his gaze gradually softening.

"She must have dreamt about you."

Guangyou was still not used to the smell of disinfectant in the hospital. He frowned slightly and was about to turn the bed around when he realized the situation and stopped in his tracks.

She sat down on a chair and glanced at Conan, her eyes filled with envy: "Why did Ran fall for you?"

"You're not convinced? Besides, you already have Haibara."

Conan rolled his eyes at Kōyū, giving him a look that said, "Come at me if you dare."

Guangyou chuckled foolishly, then became serious and said mysteriously, "What Xiaolan dreamed about is a very important event in your lives, and it changed you as a person."

"who?"

Conan's mind was filled with images, all of which were murder cases and scenes of him bickering with Ran.

He shook his head, his eyes filled with confusion, and looked at Guangyou, asking, "Who are you talking about? I have no recollection of them at all."

"You wouldn't know, and I won't tell you."

A slight smile appeared on Kōyū's lips as he glanced at Conan. "But that person seems to know you quite well."

Conan frantically grabbed his hair, turning it into a bird's nest: "Damn it, if you weren't going to tell me, why did you tell me at all!"

Guangyou blinked, a smile on his face, and said in a serious tone, "I just love seeing that look on your face, like you want to kill me but can't."

"Smack!"

Conan slapped his own head. "I swear, if I weren't weaker than you and Ran wasn't resting, I would have definitely pinned you to the ground and beaten you up."

His harsh words had no effect, and Guangyou just smiled.

How is Xiaolan now?

Uncle Mori handed over the money and pushed open the door, his eyes filled with worry, but his face showed no sign of it.

Guangyou replied, "Sister Xiaolan should wake up soon."

"Okay, I can take Xiaolan home tomorrow. Then Xiaolan won't go to school this week and can rest for a while. I'll ask the teacher for leave later."

Uncle Mori nodded and stood there, refusing even when Kouyu offered him a seat: "Do you two want something to eat? I'll go outside and buy some."

This happened before I could even eat properly at the restaurant.

"No need, I'm quite full."

Guangyou was telling the truth; he knew something was going to happen, so he deliberately ate more.

Conan shook his head: "I don't need it either."

"Okay, you guys stay here and watch over Xiaolan. I'm going to get something to eat and buy some porridge while I'm at it."

Uncle Mori is usually quite careless, but he is very meticulous when it comes to matters concerning his family.

"OK."

...

Uncle Maoli had a bowl of porridge at a small restaurant next to the hospital. The taste was a bit bland, but it was nutritious, which was just right for Xiaolan, who was sick, to recover her strength.

"Boss, please make me another serving of lean pork congee, to go."

"Ring ring~"

I had just finished talking to my boss when his phone rang.

I pressed the answer button, and the voice of the crew-cut man with horizontal grooves came through.

"Mr. Mori, thank you so much for your help. We were able to solve the case because of you."

Hearing him thank him, Uncle Mori was confused and scratched his head: "Officer Yokomizo, what did you say?"

"I admit I underestimated you a bit, but my overall view of detectives will not change, and I will prove that our police force does not necessarily need detectives to solve cases!"

The man with the buzz cut and horizontal groove spoke with unwavering determination.

Now, Uncle Mori was even more confused.

"Officer Yokomizo, what are you saying? I don't understand."

“I understand, Mr. Mori. You don’t want credit for your work. Your selfless spirit is something everyone should learn from.”

The crew-cut Yokomi's voice betrayed no emotion. "Mr. Mori, next time I solve a case, I definitely won't lose to you."

After saying this, Crew-Toothed Yokogawa hung up the phone.

Uncle Mori was left standing there dumbfounded in the brightly lit shop.

"What did he say? I didn't understand a single word."

Uncle Mori blinked, his eyes filled with confusion and a hint of melancholy. "Could it be that I can just stand here and give them pointers and help them solve the case?"
