Ai looked at Kousuke, who seemed quite uneasy beside her, and asked, "Where are we going?"
Guangyou sighed and said, "Go find my sister, I need to talk to her about something."
"who?"
At first, Ai didn't react, but after Kousuke gave her a playful look, she seemed to understand. She quickly reached out and gently patted Kousuke's arm.
Guangyou frowned slightly, took a breath, and said, "By the way, do you know that the place you hit is the wound I accidentally got a few days ago when I was hiking?"

Ai was already making a move to roll up Kouyu's sleeve, but Kouyu just chuckled and said, "It's fake."

Ai quickened her pace after letting go of his hand and walked in front of Kyou.
Kōyū quickly followed and walked to Ai's side. This time, Ai didn't quicken her pace, but instead looked to the other side.

Seeing the eager look on Kōyū's face, Ai thought for a moment and said, "That's certainly possible. After all, he's not bad. He's confident, cheerful, knowledgeable, and reliable. Apart from being a little slow on the uptake sometimes, he's pretty good."
Guangyou nodded, his face expressionless. This was all within his expectations. It was his question, and it would be somewhat pretentious for him to say anything more.
"However, he already has her, so even if what you said is true, I can't do anything very direct."
Ai adopted a stern, icy expression and said calmly, "Do you think I'm that kind of girl?"
Kōyū shook his head. He understood what Ai was saying, but he still had some reservations. Just as he was about to speak, Ai spoke.

Ever since Ai found out that Akemi was not dead, Kousuke has often taken Ai to Akemi's house for meals, intending to strengthen their relationship.

The arrival of the two surprised and delighted Mingmei. Her current life was not the carefree life she had always dreamed of, where she could walk in the sunlight without any worries. However, she was already quite content as long as she didn't have to worry about her own and her sister's safety for the time being.
"What are you two doing here today? Are you here to freeload a meal or do you need something from me?"
Mingmei served the two a cup of milk tea, which she claimed to have made herself, and a plate of cookies.
With nothing to do all day in her apartment, she had no choice but to bake some snacks to pass the time.
The matter isn't urgent. Sitting down for a cup of rich and creamy milk tea and a crisp cookie makes for a truly delightful afternoon tea.
"It's delicious, I like this cookie."
Guangyou first nodded in affirmation of Mingmei's skills, and then got to the point, saying with a smile, "Didn't we talk about giving betrothal gifts last time? This time I'm here to discuss related matters with Sister Mingmei."
Ai turned her head, somewhat angrily, and asked, "Are you kidding me?"
Guangyou turned his head and looked at her with a half-smile.
The two exchanged a glance, and Ai's expression calmed down as she asked, her tone a mixture of expectation and doubt, "You're not serious, are you?"
"What do you think?" Guangyou took another sip of milk tea and said, "But it's not that formal. I just asked your sister to reserve you first, otherwise I'd be upset if you ran away."
"You guys chat, I won't disturb you."
After hearing this, Ai immediately stood up and took small, quick steps toward Akemi's room.
After Ai entered the room, Akemi, who was sitting at the bar, rested her chin on one hand and reached out with the other to tease the plants on the bar, asking, "So, what is it now?"
"I'm really serious."
Guangyou chuckled twice, then reached out and picked up a cookie, putting it in his mouth.
Upon hearing this, Mingmei stopped what she was doing, looked up, and her smile vanished as she asked with a stern face, "Are you sure?"
This was a serious matter, and Akemi dared not be careless. Originally, she thought it was some news that Ai couldn't hear, but judging from the situation, it seemed that Kousuke was serious.
Guangyou nodded calmly and said with great certainty, "Yes, I will prepare the things."
"Actually, it doesn't matter. You know our situation, sisters. It's no use asking for more information."
Akemi suddenly regained her usual calming smile and said, "As long as you don't let Shiho down, that's fine."
Guangyou shook his head. It wasn't a question of how much to give or whether to give; it was simply a matter of attitude.
Kōyū smiled at Akemi and said, "Besides, I'm just stating my position now; I'm still a long way from being an adult."
"That's true, after all, this is no small matter."
Akemi didn't grasp the deeper meaning behind Kōyū's words; she simply nodded in satisfaction.
