Amidst the fragrant breeze, Guangyou weaved through the crowd, occasionally spotting young women arm-in-arm with their boyfriends, whispering things they didn't want others to know.
It's impossible to know what the Japanese thought of Kōyū, but on the surface, he certainly had a formulaic smile, making you feel right at home with his service.
As soon as Ai and Akemi entered the store, the shop assistants came up with smiles and recommended the store's new products, even suggesting outfits based on their own understanding and the store's clothing.
The two of them went into a hat shop, and Guangyou could hear the owner's sales pitch even before he stepped inside.
The boss was a woman who looked to be in her mid-twenties. She wore powder and lipstick, and was also wearing perfume. She wasn't particularly beautiful, but she was still quite attractive.
"Miss, this hat is a perfect match for your style and outfit. It's a bestseller in our store and suits a charming woman like you perfectly..."
Guangyou didn't pay attention to the sales pitch at the beginning; what he noticed was the boss's evaluation of Mingmei at the end.
"It seems the disguise was quite successful."
Guangyou stroked his chin and looked around the store.
The entire store is so small that you can see everything at a glance; a shop of three or four square meters is quite tiny.
There are many styles of hats available, and in addition to the main hats, there are also some small accessories, which are occasionally bundled together as freebies.
Under her persuasion, Mingmei resolutely rejected the rather flamboyant-looking hat and instead chose a woven straw hat with a small white flower on it, which looked simple and elegant.
Upon seeing this, the boss paused for a moment, then clapped his hands and praised, "That's an excellent choice too."
All she needs to do is sell them; who cares what they buy? Just sell them.
Ai held two hats in her hands, looked at Kōyū, and asked, "Which one do you think looks better?"
On his left hand was a light blue baseball cap with two white decorative stripes along the brim, while the rest of the garment was simply decorated with white stripes forming an extremely simple pattern.
On her right hand was a pink and white woolen hat with minimal decoration, except for a fluffy pom-pom on the top.
If I had to say which one Kwang-woo liked best, he would say he preferred the knitted hat.
Kōyū took a few steps forward, took the woolen hat and put it on Ai's head. Then he took a few steps back, looked her up and down, and nodded: "This one looks better after all."
Ai looked at herself in the mirror and thought it looked good, so she put the baseball cap back in its place.
Akemi had already paid, and Kōyū, carrying a shopping bag for Ai, followed behind the two of them out of the store.
The owner was also leaning forward, waving and saying things like, "Welcome back again," regardless of whether Guangyou and the others saw him.
"You wait outside."
Just as Kōyū was about to follow Ai into a store, Ai said this to him.
After Ai and Akemi went inside, Kōyū looked up and realized what was being sold in the store: "A lingerie store..."
He had no interest in going inside, but simply plopped down on a chair prepared in front of the shop, where several other men sat in a row.
The men all looked at Guangyou with strange eyes, but Guangyou didn't care at all. He just rested his chin on his hand and stared straight ahead as if he was thinking.
However, he didn't think about it, because he saw two familiar figures across the street: Kaito and Aoko were shopping in the mall. Aoko was walking in front, and Kaito was following behind carrying several bags, looking miserable.
Kaito caught a glimpse of Kōyū sitting across from him out of the corner of his eye. After a closer look at the shop's name, a wicked smile wouldn't leave his lips, as if to say, "So you've finally met your match?"
Kōyū shrugged, not caring at all. After all, he was enjoying himself, while Kaito's expression... was completely unrelated to enjoyment.
"Kaito, come on! Didn't you say I'd be in charge today?" Aoko turned around and pouted fiercely when she saw that Kaito hadn't followed. "If you dare to run away without saying a word today, I definitely won't let you off the hook!"
Kaito's face immediately fell, and he nodded repeatedly, "Alright, alright, you're in charge today... Sigh..."
Seeing the childhood sweethearts, Kwang-woo chuckled. He was actually quite envious of such a relationship, but after thinking about his future plans, he nodded contentedly, "I have one too..."
"what's on your mind?"
Ai, who had just come out of the store, nudged Kōyū with her bag. Looking at the smile on his face, she felt it wasn't quite healthy...
"It's nothing, I just saw two acquaintances."
Ignoring the surprised looks from the men around him, Guangyou stood up, took the shopping bag, lowered his voice, and asked gossipily, "What style did you buy?"
I'm not telling you.
Ai blushed slightly and immediately turned around, leaving only Kōyū with her back and the lingering fragrance from when she turned her head.
Akemi was carrying her own bag, but Kōyū snatched it away from her.
"You two should enjoy shopping and spending time together today. Anyway, it's not heavy, I'll take care of it."
Akemi paused for a moment, then a beautiful smile bloomed on her face: "Okay, thank you."
Ai gave Kousuke a charming smile, and then the two sisters continued walking ahead of him as they shopped at the mall.
If every day were like this, Guangyou would be very satisfied.
In his spare time, he occasionally uses his subtle cheat codes to tease Conan and cheer up those couples who are making his heart ache.
