Chapter 4 + The Idol Locked Room Murder Case + The Metropolitan Cipher Map Case

Uncle Mori even chuckled shamelessly twice.

However, when Inspector Megure saw Kōyū, his face lit up with a smile, and he knelt down in front of Kōyū: "Kōyū, what are you doing here?"

Kōyū replied with a smile, "Well~ I live at Uncle Mori's house!"

Inspector Megure felt a bit hot, loosened his clothes, and turned to Yoko Okino, asking, "Is the air conditioning on so high here? It's a bit hot!"

"No, and I remember turning it off before I left."

At this moment, Conan also noticed the water stains on the ground and the overturned chair next to it.

After telling Inspector Megure about the situation, Conan subconsciously began to think about the connection. Just as he started thinking, Inspector Megure and Uncle Mori were standing next to him.

After Uncle Mori punched him, Conan could only cover his head and go look for clues elsewhere.

At this moment, when Yamagishi Eiichi saw the man, his expression changed. He leaned over the man and made a small gesture towards the man's hand. This gesture was not seen by Uncle Mori and Inspector Megure, but it was seen by Conan.

After standing up, Yamagishi Sakae quickly explained to Inspector Megure that he did not know the man. Okino Yoko, who was next to him, hesitated for a moment, but still said that she did not know the man either.

Yamagishi put his hands in his pockets, but he didn't notice that the thing he picked up floated down. Conan saw this and quickly ran over to weigh down the thread-like thing with his shoe.

Just as Conan was about to step on it, Kōyū bent down and picked up the thread-like object, causing Conan to miss his step.

Conan looked a little embarrassed at this point and quickly pulled Mitsuyu to a corner.

"Kuangyou, can I see what you just picked up?"

Kwang-woo pretended to be nonchalant: "I thought it was something important, but it's just a hair."

After Conan learned that the thing was a hair, he was also very puzzled as to why Yamagishi Sakae had hidden the hair.

Just as Conan was wondering, Kōyū tugged at him: "Conan, there's something under that sofa!"

Upon hearing this, Conan ran under the sofa and found that there was indeed an earring.

Just as Conan was about to tell Inspector Megure, Mitsuyu stopped him, saying, "Adults won't believe what children say."

Conan thought about it and agreed, then decided to use a voice changer while adjusting his voice.

Kōyū smiled at Conan: "It's not that complicated~"

Immediately, Kwang-yu called out in a male voice, "Inspector! There's an earring under the sofa!"

Upon hearing this, Inspector Megure quickly ran under the sofa to check and found that there really was an earring.

Yoko Okino was surprised to discover that these were Yuko Ikezawa's earrings. Without a second thought, Uncle Mori immediately assumed that Yuko Ikezawa was the murderer and ordered the police to bring her over.

Kōyū was speechless. He wasn't even 100% sure yet, but the culprit was already suspected. Kōyū finally understood Conan's helplessness.

Conan didn't think things were that simple, after all, there were still many doubts.

Kōyū, not wanting to remain a bystander, walked up to Conan and said, "Well~ Conan-kun, you don't seem to be very bright~ The air conditioner is set so high, and Yoko remembers turning it off, so why is it still on, and so hot? The heat, and the water stains on the floor, don't you think of anything? Water doesn't only come in one form~"

Upon hearing this, Conan paused for a moment, then suddenly realized what was happening and looked at Kōyū, saying, "Could it be..."

Before Conan could even state his reasoning, Kōyū interrupted, "You're right."

After Conan learned the method, he thought: Now all that's left is to find out the motive.

Yuko Ikezawa was quickly brought over. After explaining herself, she left the crime scene under the pretext of going to the restroom. Conan looked at Yuko Ikezawa's back and realized that Yuko Ikezawa's back and Yoko Okino's back were exactly the same!

After all, she had just gone to the restroom, and Yuko Ikezawa quickly came out, sat down in a chair, and naturally picked up the Statue of Liberty that was sitting on the table. Surprisingly, the Statue of Liberty turned out to be a lighter!

Conan noticed this and became suspicious of Yuko Ikezawa's statement that she had never been here before.

After subtly pointing out this point of doubt, Yuko Ikezawa admitted that she had indeed come there several times, and that the man had attacked her, and she had left the earring there in self-defense.

At this point, after the police officer explained the results of the investigation into the deceased, Uncle Mori, a fan of Yoko Okino, discovered that the deceased had attended the same high school as Yoko Okino!

After hearing this, Yoko Okino stammered and admitted that she knew this man named Akiyoshi Fujie, who was her boyfriend in high school.

Since he already knew the truth of the case, after hearing these words, he instantly understood everything, and Conan felt a weight lifted from his heart: he finally knew what was going on in this case.

However, in order to leave an impression on Inspector Megure, just like Conan later on, he would gradually drop clues on the side for Uncle Mori to deduce.

Fortunately, Uncle Mori didn't go crazy; he was still smart enough to solve the case smoothly after providing the clues.

It also successfully left a slight impression on Inspector Megure's mind, even though Inspector Megure himself was unaware of it.
