The movie had already started, and everyone's eyes were on the screen. Even Conan and his friends, who were sitting next to the two, didn't notice that the atmosphere between the two adjacent seats in the theater was a little strange.
"I just put it on because it looked okay," Ai explained firmly. "As for where I put it, it's just that it fits there."
Guangyou's hand brushed against the ring, and he felt that the gap between the ring and his finger was very small, and it was not easy to make the ring wobble with very little force.
When he realized this, Kousuke knew whether Ai was telling the truth or not, but he didn't expose her.
It's essential to save her some face.
"Okay, I accept your explanation." Kōyū reached into the popcorn bucket next to him, took a piece of popcorn, and held it to Ai's lips, saying, "Open your mouth, and then continue watching the movie."
Then he turned his head and looked at the screen, but he didn't let go of Ai's hand.
The film lasted one hour and forty minutes. The general plot was somewhat similar to Godzilla, but with some changes in the storyline. Ultimately, it was a story of revenge, with humanity emerging victorious and Gomera being defeated...
Guangyou wasn't very immersed in the story, but Genta and the others seemed to enjoy it.
Throughout the screening, children would occasionally shout "Go Gomela!" and everyone was very understanding.
...
As they left the movie theater, Genta waved and exclaimed with a smile, "Gomera is so cool!"
Mitsuhiko nodded, looking somewhat indignant, and sighed, "The humans in there are so wicked. Just because they want to develop ocean resources, they demolished Gomera's home and even tried to kill Gomera."
Ayumi chimed in from the side, "Yeah, thank goodness Gomera is amazing..."
Guangyou, walking ahead, smiled faintly, a hint of amusement creeping across his face.
After parting ways with the Teitan trio at the intersection, Kouyu and his two companions went to Professor Agasa's house.
As soon as he entered, Dr. Agasa excitedly beckoned to Kouyu to come with him to the lab.
"Kuangyou, I've made progress on that suggestion you mentioned to me before."
Dr. Agasa raised his eyebrows, his face beaming with excitement. It wasn't just about the money; the feeling of overcoming difficulties was truly captivating.
Kōyū was pulled into the laboratory by Professor Agasa, and his eyes lit up when he saw the small sand table inside.
Without Professor Agasa pulling him, he walked forward to the sand table on his own.
It's called a sand table, but it's really just a basin filled with water...
There is a machine underwater, and a model on the surface of the water. The improved seaplane is on the back of the model.
Guangyou could already see the shadows of the finished products from his previous life on the aircraft behind the model.
Dr. Agasa pointed to the model and spoke eloquently: "After receiving the design drawings from you, I made a small model over the past few days specifically for testing."
There's no sea near Professor Agasa's house, making experiments too cumbersome. Using scaled-down models would be safer and more convenient.
"This experimental subject basically has the functions you mentioned before, but it hasn't been tested on real people yet, so I can't say what the specific results are."
Dr. Agasa stroked his beard, looking smug. "But there shouldn't be any problem."
Guangyou asked expectantly, "Can I take a look?"
Dr. Agasa nodded and replied, "Of course."
After saying that, Professor Agasa walked over to the model, picked up a remote control from the table, and pressed it.
The underwater machine began to operate, and the water in the sand table lost its original calm. The sound of the small machine operating was transmitted to Guangyou's ears through the water.
Then, two streams of water, about the thickness of a little finger, sprayed out from the bottom of the seaplane behind the model, and the model slowly rose up with the force of the water.
Seeing this, Guangyou's eyes revealed a hint of admiration. It was quite impressive that he could create this thing in such a short time based on just one idea.
The next second, Kōyū reached up and wiped the water off his face, shaking his hand as he did so: "I forgot it would fly around randomly without anyone controlling it..."
"My mistake, my mistake." Professor Agasa scratched his head awkwardly and explained, "Actually, today is my first experiment."
"Let me wipe it."
Ai's voice rang in Kōyū's ears, and when Kōyū turned his head, he saw Ai holding a towel in her hand.
"Thanks."
Guangyou smiled and took the towel to wipe his face.
Just as Kousuke was about to put the towel down, Ai reached out and took it, then took a few steps forward and, to Kousuke's surprise and delight, wiped the areas he had missed.
Guangyou was secretly pleased, but on the surface he remained calm, maintaining only that gentle smile that made him appear very sunny.
"alright."
Ai put down the towel, smiled at Kōyū, and then turned and left the laboratory.
Seeing all this, Dr. Agasa smiled with satisfaction: "It's so good to be young."
The next second, he seemed to realize something, and a hint of bitterness appeared in his smile.
Who doesn't have a past they cherish?
Kōyū interrupted Professor Agasa, who was reminiscing about the past, and asked, "Professor, do you have any ideas on how to improve this now?"
"have."
Dr. Agasa nodded and said seriously, "First is safety, then the portability and stability of the equipment. I also plan to add the function of controlling the water flow, while trying to reduce costs as much as possible."
Guangyou nodded approvingly and said, "That's great. You can make a fortune from this and live a comfortable and prosperous life."
