"According to reliable sources, the perpetrator planted bombs in two locations in Tokyo. There is no longer any threat, so please rest assured."
"The perpetrator in this incident was remotely sniped and killed just before his arrest. Whether the assailant was an accomplice is currently unknown. This station will continue to follow up on this story..."
...
Ai shifted slightly, finding a more comfortable position in Kousuke's arms, and asked, "I guess this person is you?"
"It's me."
There was no need for Mitsuyu to hide anything from Ai, so he readily admitted it without changing his expression.
"The main problem is that person fired at me..."
As soon as he said it, Guangyou quickly interrupted himself and continued, "It's mainly because that guy is so annoying."
Hmm... that idiot really deserves a beating, so that doesn't count as lying, right...?
"Open what?"
Ai left Kousuke's embrace, straightened up, and looked at him with a serious expression.
She heard every word they said; Ai was quite confident in her hearing.
Upon hearing Ai's question, Kōyū quickly replied, "Nothing, you misheard me. I just meant that guy is really annoying."
"You're still trying to lie to me?"
Ai put on a stern face, looking somewhat angry, but the next second she regained her composure, turned her head to lean back on the sofa and watch TV, her tone completely indifferent: "Fine, if you're not going to say it, then don't."
Guangyou was in a dilemma. If Ai got angry and scolded him, it would be fine, but her seemingly indifferent attitude put him in a difficult position.
Ai reached for the remote, changed the channel, and then stood there with her arms crossed, watching TV expressionlessly.
After a moment's hesitation, Kwang-woo's voice was barely audible: "He's the one who shot me..."
After saying this, Ai turned to Kousuke and said in a flat tone, "Speak louder, didn't you hear me? Did you eat that meal for nothing?"
Guangyou's voice rose slightly: "He's the one who shot me..."
"What did you say?"
Ai frowned, a hint of tension appearing in her previously calm eyes. "You mean he shot you?"
Kōyū nodded slowly, lowered his head and no longer dared to look at Ai. He tapped his two index fingers together, like a child who had done something wrong and was waiting to be scolded.
After waiting for several dozen seconds, Kōyū did not hear the scolding he expected. He glanced at the sofa out of the corner of his eye and realized that Ai, who had been sitting next to him, was gone.
A dozen seconds later, Ai walked up to Kousuke carrying a box and asked him, "Where are you hurt?"
Kōyū hesitated to meet Ai's gaze, then pointed to his chest and said, "Here."
"Take it off."
Ai's tone left Guangyou no room to refuse. He nodded and took off his shirt, revealing his muscular upper body and the bruise from the blow.
It seems that I had been lying down for too long, as most of the blue color in the bruises gradually turned into a light purple.
Guangyou actually doesn't feel much pain anymore, but he felt a tightness in his chest when he went downstairs earlier, though it wasn't painful.
But if you only look at the appearance of this bruise, it is really a bit creepy.
Upon seeing the bruise, Ai quickly took out some ointment from the box, squeezed some onto her hand, and applied it to the bruise. At the same time, she asked with some surprise, "You were shot and only have one bruise?"
Guangyou smirked and teased, "You seem a little disappointed?"
Ai tightened her grip a little and said, "I'm just asking, are you going to tell me or not?"
Guangyou quickly said, "This is what happened..."
Now that it was already known, there was no point in continuing to hide it, so Guangyou told the whole story from beginning to end.
To be honest, when Ai touched him like that, Kousuke felt as if he had been electrocuted. A slight, barely perceptible pain slowly spread, but he felt mostly coolness from the ointment.
With his slender, fair fingers rubbing the bruise on his chest, Guangyou felt the pain disappear and he felt so comfortable that he wanted to close his eyes and take a nap.
"hiss"
He was wrong the next second. As Ai was applying the ointment to him, she reached out with her other hand and pinched the soft flesh on his waist.
Although the release was quick, the pain didn't disappear in a second.
Ai applied the ointment very gently, keeping her voice as low and her tone as soft as possible: "You need to be more careful in the future."
Guangyou nodded obediently: "Mm."
After applying the ointment, Ai sat down next to Kouyu. She took Kouyu's hand, hesitated for a moment, and said, "If something happens to you, I don't know what I'll do."
"No way." Kwang-woo put on his shirt, nodded, and said seriously, holding up four fingers towards the light bulb: "I'm giving the light four!"
I hope you can do it.
Ai's eyes softened as she leaned against Kyou, her cherry lips curving upwards. "If you can't do it, I'll drag you back to do human experiments."
"If that day ever comes, I'll accept whatever punishment I'm given."
Guangyou turned his head, smelled the lemon scent, and closed his eyes.
After a long while, Ai suddenly blushed and asked, "I didn't sleep well last night, could you massage my shoulders?"
Guangyou smiled and nodded: "Okay, then turn around and face away from me."
"Um."
Ai sat cross-legged on the sofa, turned her back to Kyou, and a hint of anticipation flashed across her face.
