Upon hearing this, Ai's face flushed pink at a visible speed. She opened her mouth slightly and frowned, seemingly also fantasizing about that scene.
After a short while, Ai sighed softly, "This kind of scene is something I can only dream about."
"Hmm." Guangyou nodded, also sighing, "What a pity, otherwise I would have liked to see your father chase me down three streets for you."
Ai reached out and patted Kousuke's arm, scolding him playfully, "He's not that kind of person."
Guangyou chuckled softly, neither confirming nor denying.
He was initially worried that Ai's words might cause her to have some emotional fluctuations, but it seems that things are going quite well now.
"Mr. Mori, if it's convenient, may I have a word with you in private?"
Nan Yunxiao walked up behind Uncle Mori and said this, his expression looking somewhat serious.
Uncle Mori was a little puzzled, but seeing Nan Yunxiao's serious expression, he nodded blankly: "Okay."
After saying that, Uncle Mori followed Nagumo Akira to a corner of the room for a secret chat.
Guangyou looked at the two huddled in the corner and said, "They're probably just talking about Uncle Liao's relationship with Yucheng Liuli."
Ai turned her head and asked in confusion, "If the two are really father and daughter, why didn't they show it before?"
"Nan Yunxiao and Yu Cheng Liuli's mother may have separated when she was young."
Guangyou connected this to what the foul-mouthed boy had said earlier and explained, "I guess the two of them only recently recognized each other. Because they haven't known each other for long, they often meet up at night, which led that idiot to think they were having a secret rendezvous."
At this moment, Ran and Conan's conversation caught Kouyu's attention.
Ran watched Conan jog towards the door and asked, "Conan, where are you going?"
Conan opened the door and explained, "I need to go to the bathroom!"
Thinking back to the past, Ran frowned and warned Conan, "You can't interfere with the police officers' work."
"OK."
Conan responded and closed the door.
Ai glanced at the doorway, then turned and said, "Does that guy know that?"
Guangyou shook his head without even thinking: "This guy definitely thinks Nan Yunxiao and Yucheng Liuli are lovers. He would never guess that they are actually father and daughter."
Guangyou chuckled and said, "He's never had a daughter, so he doesn't understand this kind of thinking at all."
Ai's voice rose slightly: "Do you have a daughter?"
“Definitely not!” Guangyou quickly explained, “It’s just that I often see that kind of look in older men’s eyes.”
Every time Ran mentions someone she likes, Uncle Mori gives her this look.
Ai turned her head and glanced at Uncle Mori and Akira Nagumo, who seemed to be getting closer and closer, and said, "Their conversation doesn't seem to be very pleasant."
"How could anyone be happy?"
Guangyou chuckled, "Nan Yunxiao saw the two of them interacting intimately and assumed that Uncle Mori had some kind of relationship with Yu Cheng Liuli, so he definitely had to give him a warning."
Not far away, the two had soon finished their conversation.
Nan Yunxiao walked to the other side with a dark cloud over his face; his expression betrayed how tense the atmosphere of their conversation had been.
Uncle Mori stood there, and strangely enough, the expression on his face wasn't angry, but rather somewhat confused, as if he were recalling something.
"Uncle, could you give me the car keys?"
Guangyou walked up to Uncle Mori and held out his hand, "I'm going to get something."
Uncle Mori was startled from his reverie. Without thinking much of it, he nodded, took out his keys from his pocket, handed them to Guangyou, and said, "Remember to lock the car doors later. I also need to go check out the scene."
He had some clues, but he knew he couldn't figure anything out in this room. To solve the case, he needed to investigate the scene first.
Kōyū took Ai's hand and followed Uncle Mori out the door.
As the group reached a corner, Uncle Mori seemed to see something, and it was because of what he saw that he suddenly became angry.
"That little brat has been sneaking around the scene again."
Uncle Mori gritted his teeth, glared, and rolled up his sleeves. "I really can't let him get away with this."
“The great detective is in trouble again.” Ai took Kouyu’s hand and walked past Uncle Mori. “Speaking of which, I remember he can only use anesthesia once. He should have used it just now.”
Who cares?
Guangyou waved his hand dismissively, "Let's go eat our sandwiches. The case will be solved sooner or later. Even if it doesn't work out, Uncle is here."
Ai nodded: "Mm."
The two walked along the corridor, and Guangyou suddenly noticed a familiar figure on his right.
He continued walking forward, saying as he went, "Keep dodging, you're the best."
Conan, hiding behind the wall, watched helplessly as Kōyū passed by. He sighed and complained, "You think I wanted this? If I hadn't seen it reflected in the glass door..."
Suddenly, his eyes widened: "I understand!"
...
What does he know?
Hearing the faint sounds coming from behind, Ai smiled and wondered, "Does he also know about the relationship between Nan Yunxiao and Yu Cheng Liuli?"
"I don't know. If no one tells him, he won't be able to guess."
Guangyou shook his head with absolute certainty, and then said, "If he could figure that out, pigs would probably fly."
Xiao Ai raised an eyebrow and chuckled, "That's a very apt description."
The snow was still falling, and the police outside had not yet left.
