As the plot unfolds, Guangyou becomes increasingly certain that this is an adaptation of yesterday's events.
The production team completely overturned the original silly and colorful script and changed it into a play within a play, which was also adapted from real events.
This time, as long as the production team doesn't act foolishly and tries to generate buzz, it's guaranteed to become a hit.
In this day and age, there are no online games or video websites. Basically, after dinner, families gather together to watch TV.
Given this situation, it was only a matter of time before it became popular.
"Isn't this what happened yesterday?"
Xiaolan was eating and watching TV when she recognized the plot of the show.
“Yes, the director said he had a dream yesterday.” Uncle Mori explained while drinking his wine, “He dreamed that he adapted yesterday’s events into a program, and it became a huge hit.”
"And then you changed it?"
When Guangyou heard the story behind it, he also sighed that it was somewhat mysterious.
"Yes, we were quite surprised when we received the news at the filming location this morning."
Uncle Mori took a bite of food and nodded. "But because it actually happened, it was easier to act, and we finished filming very quickly."
At this point, the show's plot reached the part where Uncle Mori was making his deductions.
Yes, the show features Uncle Mori playing a character named Kogoro Mori, which means he's playing himself.
Another male character, played by Yoshiki Kazami, also causes trouble for the character played by Mori.
Then Uncle Mori made some wild guesses and was ridiculed.
At this point, Uncle Mori couldn't help but say, "See that? My acting skills are no joke."
Guangyou twitched the corner of his mouth. He was playing himself; how could he not look like him...?
Then, Kogoro Mouri in the show fell into a deep sleep, delivering an ultimate slap in the face.
This segment has been artistically embellished; after all, it's a program, and its purpose is to provide viewers with enjoyment.
After finishing his reasoning, "Yoshiki Kazami" was embarrassed, having offended almost all the actors present.
The production team also recreated the scene where Ai Haibara is scolded.
Guangyou snorted coldly, thinking to himself, "Hmph, he really went too easy on me."
The original words were too vicious, and the director has changed the lines, but Guangyou still regrets that he went too far back then.
The motive for the crime became that "Kazami Yoshiteru" had attacked "Nangumo Nobuharu," so his father, "Nangumo Akira," came out to take revenge.
The rest of the plot is similar to the case that happened yesterday.
Since Kōyū and the other two had all experienced it firsthand, they weren't particularly interested in the plot, except for the awkward deduction by Uncle Mori at the beginning.
"So, what are your thoughts after watching it?"
Uncle Mori's expression remained calm, but the uncontrollable upward curve of his lips betrayed his inner thoughts.
"It's great, especially the part where you were embarrassed, Dad."
Xiaolan said very frankly, "It's just like the real thing."
Kōyū nodded in agreement, after all, he was playing himself, and he felt that Uncle Mori was genuinely embarrassed at that moment.
That said, if Uncle Mori is as amazing as those people in my past life say, then his acting skills are definitely not bad...
"After all, I am Kogoro Mouri. Acting is a piece of cake."
After drinking, Uncle Mori's narcissistic nature became even more apparent.
He took a sip of beer, his cheeks flushed slightly, and said, "I'm not bragging, but if I hadn't become a policeman, I probably would have been a big star."
Xiaolan smiled helplessly and said, "Okay, okay, Dad, you're the best."
After listening to Uncle Mori's boasting, Kōyū silently swallowed the food in his mouth, raised his head, and looked at the ceiling.
Then he asked, "Conan, what did you see?"
Conan followed suit, looked up, and after a while, shook his head and said, "There's nothing on the ceiling."
"No."
Kōyū shook his head, looked down at Conan, and said seriously, "I saw a large herd of cows flying in the sky."
"What are you talking about, you little brat?"
Uncle Mori squinted and tapped the table. "Is there something wrong with what I said?"
"No!"
Guangyou immediately became serious, slammed his hand on the table, and said solemnly, "Uncle, if you went into acting, you would definitely break out of Japan and conquer the world. An Oscar for Best Actor would be yours!"
"Cough cough..."
Uncle Mori's lips curled up, he coughed a few times, and reached out to press down, "Keep a low profile. What did I teach you? You have to be humble..."
"I'm stuffed."
Guangyou quickly finished the last bite of his meal, stood up, and went back to his room.
Back in his room, Guangyou sat down at his desk, opened the drawer, and took out one of the thickest notebooks.
"By the way, it's been a long time since you've touched it."
Guangyou reached out and stroked the book cover. "Actually, I really didn't want to take it out."
The black cover has no words or decorations and looks very inconspicuous.
He turned to the first page of the notebook, looked at the words on it, and smiled helplessly.
"Seeing these words reminds me of the past..."
Guangyou muttered to himself as he continued flipping through the notebook.
Looking at the pages filled with framed drawings, a wave of emotion washed over him: "They are all memories, and all tears..."
When he turned to one of the pages, he couldn't help but curse, "Shizuno XX, what a despicable businessman."
He seemed to have forgotten everything, so engrossed in the contents of the notebook that he didn't even notice Conan coming up beside him.
