"Come in."
Ai opened the door and saw the people standing outside, which she wasn't surprised by.
She opened the door for Guangyou, turned around and sat back on the sofa. She picked up the cup on the coffee table, took a small sip, and then said casually, "You didn't reply to me yesterday."
"I was busy at the time, but I saw your message as soon as I finished."
Kōyū sat down next to her, and seeing that Ai had deliberately turned her head away from him, he quickly explained, "I thought you might be asleep, so I didn't go back."
Ai closed her eyes, took another sip of water, and made a nasal sound: "Mmm."
Have you eaten?
Ai put down her water glass, looked at Kyouya, and asked, "A sandwich?"
Guangyou thought for a moment and nodded: "Okay, I happen to have to go out this afternoon."
"Okay, then I'll go make it for you."
After saying that, Ai got up and walked towards the kitchen.
Guangyou watched her retreating figure, a grin spreading across his face. "That's why I said that book was a book of demons..."
"At least, that's how it is for me..."
...
"Is this the same Mr. Itakura Suguru who went missing a week ago?"
After tidying himself up, Uncle Mori sat on the sofa, holding a photo of a man in his hand. After glancing at it, he looked up at the three men sitting opposite him and said, "What do you mean by saying this isn't the first time he's gone missing?"
One of the young men explained, "He used to disappear when the deadline for designing game software was approaching."
These words gave Conan a sense of familiarity. Suddenly, he slapped his palm, thinking to himself, "Isn't this the trick Dad used to play when he was pressured to finish his manuscript?"
"Even though every time I run away it's to meet up with my mom, but..."
Thinking of this, Conan smirked, "It's been a long time since I've seen those two. I wonder where they're on vacation again."
"I think the situation this time will be similar to that before."
Another middle-aged man with a Mediterranean complexion explained with a helpless expression, "However, we don't have that much time left, so we were hoping that Mr. Mori could help us find it if it's convenient for you."
"Last time we asked the police for help, we got a real tongue-lashing."
A middle-aged man with a thick head of hair added, "So, Mr. Mori, we'll have to ask you for help this time."
"If you find him, Mr. Mori, please be sure to contact us first."
The Mediterranean-looking man pulled out a business card from his pocket, about to hand it to Uncle Mori, when the lush-haired man next to him grabbed his wrist, his tone seemingly angry, "Are you kidding me? You know, our company is the one that paid the most this time!"
The Mediterranean man forcefully pulled his hand back, his tone somewhat displeased: "But this time it was my suggestion to come and see Mr. Mori."
Uncle Mori listened to the two arguing, took a sip of his coffee, and asked, "Aren't you two from the same company?"
"No, the three of us are three companies."
The young man introduced himself, “My name is Subekro. I’m here to ask Mr. Itakura to help me design a Go software.”
Mediterranean South: "My name is Naito Teihei. Mr. Itakura helped us design the chess software."
Shigeo: "I asked him to design a shogi software. My name is Ryusuke Soma."
These words surprised Uncle Mori, who couldn't understand why a systems engineer would take on three projects at the same time.
So he asked, "Why did he design three software programs at the same time?"
Upon hearing this, Xu Beikelu also became angry: "That's exactly why we need to find him and get to the bottom of this."
Ryusuke Soma shook his head and explained, "When we approached him, he acted indifferent, saying he didn't have any orders and could take ours."
Upon hearing this, Conan shook his head in disappointment, thinking to himself, "It seems this is just an ordinary case. It's a pity, I thought it was related to them."
...
"I made four for you."
After placing the plate and bento on the coffee table, Ai sat down next to Kōyū and said, "You can eat one now, and you can eat the other three when you go out later."
"It's so kind of you."
Guangyou chuckled, reached for the sandwich on the plate, and began to eat it in large bites.
Ai didn't respond, but just turned her head and squinted at Kousuke eating his sandwich.
She is very satisfied with her current life.
"Perhaps, all those setbacks in childhood weren't entirely without their benefits."
Her gaze softened, like ice melting, and she murmured to herself, "Otherwise, I wouldn't have met him..."
"What did you say?"
With his mouth full of sandwiches, Kwang-woo asked indistinctly, "I didn't hear you clearly just now."
Ai blushed slightly and said, "It's nothing, eat slowly, don't choke."
"Cough cough..."
As soon as Ai finished speaking, Kōyū felt like he had choked.
He quickly reached for the cup on the table, took a sip, and swallowed it.
"Cool……"
Guangyou leaned back on the sofa with a satisfied smile and patted his belly.
He knew that eating large bites could easily cause choking and was bad for digestion, but the feeling of having his mouth full of delicious food was truly wonderful.
Just like when he was a child, he liked to save up money for several days to buy one or two sausages, cut them into cubes with a ruler, and then stuff them into his mouth.
It took several minutes to cut, but it was finished in less than a minute...
"you……"
Xiao Ai blushed, pointed at the cup with her finger, pursed her lips, and gave up, "Never mind..."
