"Uncle, don't you find this strange?"
Guangyou walked to the table with his hands in his pockets, glanced at the surface, and asked with feigned confusion, "This person was lying on the table, but there isn't a single drool stain on it. Did he wipe it off?"
"Kuangyou, what brings you here?"
Uncle Mori was also a little surprised to see Kōyū. "Didn't you go to the professor's house to look for that little girl?"
"Um?"
Inspector Megure was taken aback by this. "Didn't you tell him to go downstairs and pick me up?"
The two immediately sensed something was wrong and turned to look at Guangyou, their eyes filled with an interrogative tone.
"Shouldn't you be looking at the murder case right now?" Kōyū's eyes widened, and his smile stretched almost to the roots of his mouth. "I think this is definitely not as simple as an accident!"
When he said his last sentence, Kōyū completely ignored the two people staring at him, bent down and squatted down next to Itakura Taku, and continued, "If you keep lying on the table like this, you should at least have marks on your hands."
The lab technician glanced at Itakura Taku's hands and nodded in agreement: "I see absolutely no evidence that he died in this position."
Inspector Megure's attention was successfully diverted. After listening, he also sensed something was amiss and said, "So, you're saying..."
"right."
Guangyou stood up, holding the lunchbox in one hand and adjusting his non-existent glasses with the other. A strange smile appeared on his lips as he said, "This is not an accident at all, but a murder."
Conan watched Kōyū's series of actions and the smile on his face, and felt a strange sense of familiarity.
Guangyou smirked, walked over to Conan, and nudged him: "How was it? Did I imitate you well?"
Conan rolled his eyes at him, ignored him, and turned to look at the scene, continuing to ponder the case.
"Could it be that he died somewhere else and was then moved here to stage the scene?"
Inspector Megure wanted to continue speculating about the possible causes of the accident, but he immediately dismissed his own thoughts, saying, "Judging from the rigor mortis, it shouldn't be possible."
"Could it be that someone tied Mr. Itakura to a chair and waited for his body to stiffen..."
Uncle Mori's casual remark startled him; the more he spoke, the more likely this possibility seemed, until his voice softened, "Move him over after the body has stiffened..."
"No matter how you look at it, as Guangyou said, this is a murder case."
Inspector Megure's expression also turned serious. Looking at Itakura Taku's corpse, his eyes were filled with an unreadable meaning. "It seems that this time, you and Mouri will have to cooperate again."
The two looked at each other and nodded.
As if he had thought of something, Uncle Mori also had a doubt: "If he was tied up, there should be marks, but we haven't found any."
"There are indeed no obvious marks from the straps."
After careful examination, the laboratory staff said, "However, the bruising on the deceased's body proves that he had been subjected to extensive compression."
"I think the primary crime scene is probably here."
Guangyou, stroking his chin, offered the two clues, "If it was taken in from outside, it would definitely attract attention; the same applies if it was taken out, so..."
He didn't continue, after all, he had to save face for Uncle Mori and Inspector Megure.
Inspector Megure agreed wholeheartedly, and following Mitsuyu's words, he understood something as well: "In other words, there are clues in this room."
"Extensive oppression, even in hotel rooms."
Uncle Mori glanced at the bed, then his eyes widened. "Conan, you brat, can you stop moving?"
Ran, who was standing nearby, quickly stepped forward and picked Conan up, scolding him, "Conan, you can't run around at crime scenes. Neither you nor Mitsuyu should be looking at such scenes."
Conan loosened his grip on the blanket with a slight sigh, obediently walked to Kouyu's side, and asked, "How do you manage to get Uncle and Inspector Megure to listen to you without getting angry?"
Kōyū glanced at Conan, then at Uncle Mori who was checking the blanket, and explained, "It's just like playing a game. If you, as the player, have enough goodwill with an NPC, then he will be more accepting of what you do."
Conan rolled his eyes again, shrugged, and said helplessly, "Speak like a human. I don't understand game jargon."
"In other words, if they like you enough, they will tolerate some of the things you do that aren't too outrageous."
After listening to Kōyū's explanation, Conan seemed to understand and nodded knowingly.
Meanwhile, Inspector Megure and Uncle Mori also deduced the role of the blanket in the case based on the clues given by Kousuke.
Meanwhile, Takagi and Chiba, who were also present, worked together to deduce the process of the murder.
"Guangyou, actually I've been struggling with what you said to me during the day."
Conan looked at Kōyū seriously and asked, "Do you know something?"
"I know a little."
Kōyū nodded, not hiding anything from Conan, and said, "I did know some things before, but most of them were just guesses."
Conan nodded: "Alright, I need to get my hands on the disk first. Hopefully, it contains the part about the deal with the organization."
"Good luck."
Kōyū shrugged, walked to the side, leaned against the wall, took out his phone, and sent a text message to Ai.
