"hiss……"
Guangyou pretended nothing was wrong and withdrew his hand, feeling a dampness on his fingertips. His heart pounded like a rabbit's.
Although it was just an accident, it was still very exciting for a guy like him who only had theoretical knowledge.
To hide his excitement, Kwangyu also picked up a diamond-shaped rice cake and put it in his mouth.
The taste is just so-so, on the sweeter side overall, but not bad.
The green part is matcha, the pink part is strawberry, and the white part doesn't have any special flavor.
There is also a yellow almond flavor, but Kōyū gave up the almond-flavored diamond-shaped rice cake for the sake of so-called purity.
He was not alone in making the same choice.
He took a bite of the diamond-shaped rice cake, then picked up the cup of amazake and took a small sip…
Guangyou frowned, opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue: "I'm still not used to drinking this kind of thing."
Compared to him, Ai was much better. After swallowing the rhombus mochi, she picked up her wine glass, took a small sip, and turned to him, saying, "It's a good thing you can't drink; at least it's good for your health."
"Um."
Guangyou naturally understood this principle, and he rarely drank alcohol, the only thing he would drink was sherry.
Better a short pain than a long one, so Kwang-yu was too lazy to drink it in portions and just gulped down the entire amazake in one go.
He felt better this time because he could taste a hint of sweetness in it.
"It's sweet, and it's alright."
Guangyou raised an eyebrow, put the cup on the coffee table, and continued watching TV.
Ai was being very strict today. She looked at Kōyū and said in a very calm tone, "It's alright, but you can't drink too much."
It feels really good to be managed like this.
Guangyou chuckled and nodded, replying, "Okay, okay, I'll do whatever you say."
Ai replied with satisfaction, "Mm."
"You're becoming more and more like..."
Before Kōyū could finish speaking, he turned his head and looked at Ai with a meaningful expression.
"Is that not allowed?"
Ai understood what Kousuke meant. This time, she didn't blush. Instead, she squinted and stared at Kousuke with a slightly threatening tone.
"Sure, why not? Let Ai be my manager..."
Before he could finish speaking, a slender finger stopped a centimeter in front of Guangyou's mouth.
"Shh..."
Guangyou stopped talking in time and turned back to watch the comedy program on TV.
He sensed that Ai had changed in some way, but he couldn't quite put his finger on what it was; in short, something had changed.
Ai lowered her head to look at the book, reached out and brushed her hair aside, a faint blush appearing on her face, seemingly from the sunlight.
She muttered to herself, as if trying to encourage herself, "It's still not quite right... I'll take it slow."
Even the best TV shows eventually come to an end, but Guangyou didn't make it to the end.
Perhaps it was because the jokes on the TV show got boring, or perhaps it was the atmosphere in the apartment that made him completely relax, but Guangyou didn't know when he closed his eyes and fell asleep leaning against the sofa.
"Kuangyou, I..."
Ai, who was unaware of all this, was now going through a fierce internal struggle.
She had made a very bold decision, but just as she looked up to tell Guangyou about it, she realized that he had already fallen asleep.
"He doesn't even know to go back to his room to sleep."
Ai looked at Kōyū with a helpless expression, then reached for the remote control on the table and turned off the TV.
After hesitating for a long time, Ai chuckled and then did something to Kousuke that she had never dared to do before, nor had she ever thought of doing.
...
While fast asleep, Kwang-woo felt surrounded by warmth. A smile involuntarily appeared on his lips as he slept. He curled up and found a warmer, more comfortable position to continue sleeping.
He had a very strange dream, perhaps because of the time the three of them spent together today, or perhaps for some other reason. Guangyou suddenly dreamed that he was in a pure white space.
There were two people in the space whom he would never meet in real life, and these two people were standing not far from him at this moment.
The woman among the two had long, flowing blonde hair and a cool, aloof face. Through the glasses on her nose, Kwang-yu could see her gentle, dark green eyes, and she quickly smiled with relief upon seeing him.
Standing next to the woman was a man with a neat hairstyle and regular features typical of Asian appearance. Like the woman, he also wore glasses, and his chin was covered with short stubble.
"That look in his eyes..."
The way the man looked at him felt strangely familiar to Guangyou, but he couldn't quite place or remember where or when he had seen it before.
Guangyou was very familiar with the clothes the two were wearing. He muttered to himself, "White coats, huh?"
Upon seeing their attire and faces, he suddenly realized who they were, and the man's gaze became clear.
"I don't dislike it at all, I'm even a little pleased."
Guangyou walked up to the two of them, looked up at them, and the woman also bent down, her golden hair cascading down like a waterfall, her eyes behind her glasses still gentle like a deep, dark green pool.
"You must be Kōyū."
The woman's voice, like her face, sounded cold and aloof, but Guangyou could detect a hint of kindness in it.
Guangyou didn't hide anything, nodded, and put on a kind smile, saying, "Yes, Auntie."
