"Is it that kid, Kōyū, again?"
After learning the general outline of what had happened, Miwako's beautiful eyes seemed to sparkle, and a smile gradually appeared on her lips. She said, "I knew this child was extraordinary."
"It is quite extraordinary."
Looking back on his past experiences, Takagi also said from the bottom of his heart that in many ways he was not as good as Kouyu.
"It's a pity he's still young. If he were a little older, we could consider it."

Miwako found Takagi's hesitant manner somewhat irritating. Seeing him still dawdling, she immediately said to him, "Officer Takagi, you can say it if you want, but it's fine if you don't. I won't force you if it's inconvenient for you. I'm not some kind of villain."
"After all, we're just colleagues and friends, you don't need to worry about it so much."
This is indeed what Miwako truly feels; she does have feelings for Takagi, but they haven't confessed their feelings yet, and they are still just colleagues and friends.
She wasn't upset because Takagi didn't tell her, but rather because she felt annoyed by his indecisive look.
If you want to say something, just say it. If you don't want to say it, just refuse. It's not a big deal. Why do you have to act like a girl and hesitate for so long?
Takagi, however, was unaware that he was prone to overthinking and had no idea what Miwako was thinking. He genuinely believed that Miwako was angry about the matter.
Takagi knew nothing about this matter. Looking at Miwako's expression, he hesitated for a moment before speaking, "I thought you meant that..."
As he spoke, he made a few gestures to explain. After Miwako patiently read through them, she suddenly understood what Takagi had been thinking. She couldn't help but laugh and said, "Officer Takagi, your imagination is too rich. Why don't you change careers and become a manga artist?"
"Haha..."
Takagi didn't know how to respond, so he could only scratch his head and laugh awkwardly to get by, but he was relieved.
"However, if you put it that way, Kōyū seems pretty good too."
Miwako suddenly had the idea of teasing Takagi. She pretended to think for a moment and said, "This child is quite smart, a good person, can cook, and is good-looking. He's really quite good."

As mentioned earlier, Kōyū felt that what he did in the afternoon was not important; the main thing was to enjoy the time he spent with his partner. So, after leaving the fast food restaurant, he and Ai strolled leisurely along the road.
Kōyū intended to take Ai to the next location, but when they passed the haunted house, he suddenly spotted Takagi and Miwako standing in front of the haunted house.
He originally intended to ignore the two of them, but seeing that they were also pointing and gesturing in his direction, he realized that they had also noticed them.
Miwako was waving at them from their line of sight, which gave Kōyū a headache. Ignoring her would be impolite.
Ai could tell what Kousuke was thinking, so she tugged at his hand and said, "Let's go, it won't take long."
Guangyou nodded, exhaled, and said, "That's the only way."
After saying that, he led Ai to Miwako and Takagi, forced a smile, and said to Miwako, "We meet again, Miwako-neechan."
Miwako smiled, bent down and ruffled Kōyū's not-so-long hair, and said, "Good afternoon! I'd like to invite you two to grab something to eat?"
