"Misunderstanding? What do you mean?"
For some reason, Guangyou had a bad feeling.
"If I had to lie, I would say you danced terribly."
Ai nodded expressionlessly and continued, "If you want me to tell the truth..."
Kwang-woo asked somewhat nervously, "What is the truth...?"
She took a sip of her milk tea, a serious expression on her face, and said, "If I were to tell you the truth, I would say that you danced really badly, and not just badly."
"It's like scattering some rice on a dance machine and putting a chicken on it; the chicken would probably dance better than you."
The bad feeling in his heart became a reality. When Ai told him that he danced terribly and even used such a metaphor, it would be impossible for him not to feel disappointed. In fact, his heart clenched painfully.
However, he snapped out of that state the next second.
"Judging from a technical standpoint, your jump was really bad."
Ai bit her straw, seemingly a little shy, and her voice softened, though it still sounded devoid of emotion. "However, I think you danced quite well."
"That's enough."
Guangyou doesn't ask for much. As long as someone says she can accept it, that's enough. So what if the chicken jumps better than him?
He can also play basketball, sing, dance, and rap. Can a chicken compare?
I'll turn it into a tomato chicken burger later. If it can still jump, that would be amazing.
Why should I compare myself to a chicken?
He suddenly realized a very serious problem: why should a highly intelligent primate compare itself to a chicken?
"No, things are in chaos."
Even after Guangyou stopped his wild thoughts, he picked up his milk tea again and took a big sip to calm his urge to go back and eat a hamburger.
"Gurgle~"
He wanted to take another sip, but found that the milk tea was almost gone. He had estimated that there were four or five hundred milliliters of milk tea, but after several sips, only a tiny bit was left.
"That's too little, we haven't had enough."
After complaining for a moment, Guangyou put the empty milk tea into the bag. He was a good boy, and it was unlikely that he would develop bad habits like littering.
Although sometimes Kōyū might make a certain goofball disappear from this world completely, putting that aside, he should still be considered a good young man... right?
"Then let's drink some more."
Upon hearing Ai's words, Kōyū thought she was going to buy him another cup. He even wanted to tell Ai that it wasn't necessary to go to such trouble, but when he turned around, he saw a scene that surprised him.
Ai took the empty cup out of the bag, pulled out the straw, and without hesitation stuck the straw into her milk tea. Then she turned around and handed the milk tea to Kōyū, saying softly, "It's just too much to drink, don't waste it."
He took the milk tea, found his straw, took a small sip, and then placed the milk tea on the ground between the two of them.
Then, the two fell silent. Ai looked down at the floor, while Kousuke stared straight ahead. If you looked closely, you could see that his eyes were a little unfocused, and it was hard to tell what he was thinking.
After a long while, Ai's voice woke up Kousuke from his reverie.
Ai cut the donuts she had bought earlier in half, and handed the larger one to Kousuke, saying, "Want some donuts? I can't finish them."
After regaining his senses, Kwang-woo's lips curled slightly when he saw this, but he quickly suppressed it, took the half of the donut, and took a small bite.
With one bite, the frosting sprinkled on the donut bursts with just the right amount of sweetness; it's sweet enough, but not cloyingly so.
The soft donut doesn't require much force to bite into; the aroma of butter and eggs has completely blended together, and after a couple of chews, the rich milky flavor begins to spread in your mouth.
Along with this flavor comes a sweetness that you can't taste, but which can definitely seep into your heart.
When he was single, he didn't even understand this behavior. Back then, if he saw this, he would probably have yelled, "Can't you buy another bubble tea? Can't you buy two more donuts? Why do you have to share one?"
But now he would only dismissively retort to his former self: "What do you know, you single dog!"
Do you even know what romance is?
Do you even know what interaction between couples means?
Thinking about all this, Guangyou sighed inexplicably, "Being in love really can change a person."
Everyone has different ideas. Even among couples, some people can't accept this behavior. However, some people think it symbolizes that the two people don't mind each other at all, and it's a symbol of a relationship that has reached a certain level.
Of course, from a hygiene perspective, this behavior is highly discouraged...
The milk tea was served with two straws, and the donuts were divided into two portions before we even ate them, so there's absolutely no need to worry about hygiene.
Now that the hygiene issue has been resolved, all that's left between the two is the sour smell of dog food...
No, to be more precise, it should be the fragrance of love.
After resting for a while, Kōyū regained his interest in having fun. He turned to Ai and said, "Play a game with me later."
Ai didn't refuse again. She nodded, got up from the chair, and said to Kōyū, "Let's leave after I put the chair back in its place."
Guangyou helped her put the chair back in its original position, and then the two of them resumed browsing among the various video game machines.
We've done all the fun games, and the rest are pretty old-fashioned. It's not that I don't like them, it's just that I've played them so many times that I'm getting tired of them.
