As soon as he stepped into the cockpit, Guangyou suddenly felt as if someone was watching him. He frowned and, in the few moments as he turned to sit down, he casually glanced in that direction.
He noticed a man in the crowd looking at him.
Beside the man was a woman, who seemed like an ordinary couple, holding each other's hands and both wearing sweet smiles.
The man was of average appearance, but the woman beside him was really beautiful.
Of course, that's not the point. The point is what Guangyou discovered next.
The man was dressed very plainly, and even though Guangyou only glanced at him from afar, he could still tell from his attire that the man's economic situation was average.
The woman beside him was different; the accessories on her hands and ears shone brightly under the neon lights.
Ai usually reads fashion magazines, and Guangyou, through long-term exposure, also knows a few brands.
The bag the woman was carrying appeared to be a new crocodile leather crossbody bag from LV last month, priced at $18,000, and currently only available in France.
There was a significant disparity in economic conditions between men and women. When Guangyou first realized this, he thought the relationship between men and women was the kind of "I don't want to work hard anymore" kind of relationship.
But the next second he realized that if that were true, then this man must have saved the world in his past life.
Others who don't want to work hard are looking for women of the auntie generation. Not to mention their round, wrinkled faces, the powder on their faces could be scraped off and kneaded into dough.
But this guy actually ran into a rich woman with fair skin, a beautiful face, and long legs. His luck must have been incredible, he must have saved the world in his past life, and not just once.
"Speaking of which, why is he looking at me?"
Guangyou was certain that his identity had not been exposed, and he could not sense anything unusual about this person.
Whether it's a man or a woman, they absolutely cannot be from the distillery. Even if they are, they are just peripheral, unrelated personnel who would never know their identity.
Neither of them could be members of the FBI, CIA, or MI6.
This left him completely bewildered. He didn't recognize either of them, yet they were staring at him.
Some might say, "He was probably looking at someone else."
But he and Ai were the last to enter the Ferris wheel, and there were only those two people standing around looking at his cabin.
The smile on his face looked so strange to Guangyou, and he suddenly thought of a possibility.
"Could these two be child traffickers?"
Kōyū blinked. If that were the case, he could understand. After all, he had a pretty good appearance, not to mention Ai.
If you were to sell them, they would definitely be worth a fortune, enough to buy several LV bags owned by women.
Guangyou pouted and let his imagination run wild: "Could this bag have come about like this?"
He wasn't afraid of anyone trying to kidnap him; if anyone dared to come, he would sell the person who came.
Of course, this is just a very irresponsible guess, and Guangyou is just letting his imagination run wild.
"But I don't know them either."
Guangyou thought about it carefully, nodded, and said, "I really don't know them, but why are they looking at me like that?"
The Ferris wheel wouldn't give Guangyou any more time to think. After everyone had entered, the huge machine started operating.
Guangyou noticed through the window that the two people turned and left after seeing the Ferris wheel start to turn.
This made Guangyou even more suspicious that these two people were either mentally ill or had some real problems behind the scenes.
Perhaps she really is lusting after his body.
Why am I so excited?
Kōyū stopped the dangerous thoughts in his mind and looked at Ai sitting opposite him.
Kwang-woo took off his hat and put it aside, asking, "Did you have fun today?"
"fine."
Ai's answer was very brief. She turned her head away from Kōyū's gaze, looked out the window, and stared at the stars in the sky.
You seem to have something on your mind.
Guangyou took the girl's hand, which was resting on her knee, and said with concern, "Tell me about it, maybe I can help."
"I just don't want to see your face."
Ai didn't struggle, but obediently let Kousuke hold her hands, revealing a very faint smile, "Too ugly."
Guangyou felt something in his heart, but did not show it. He smiled and said, "It's not a good thing to lie through your teeth."
Ai Haibara retorted, "Overpraising yourself isn't a good thing either."
You know in your heart whether the praise is excessive.
Guangyou didn't argue with her, but just chuckled and glanced at her again.
"Heh~"
Upon hearing this sigh tinged with helplessness, Guangyou leaned forward and whispered, "Take a closer look. My face isn't exactly handsome to the point of being ridiculous, but it's certainly not bad-looking."
Ai turned around, carefully examined the face that was close to hers, and then nodded.
Guangyou sat back down, raised his head, and said, "Am I right? He's such a handsome boy, and you still say he's ugly."
"It really isn't very good."
Ai nodded slightly, her face expressionless but her eyes smiling, her tone reluctant: "However, it should be passable after a while."
Guangyou had heard her answer like this countless times, and he understood what she meant.
"I am very happy today."
Guangyou leaned back in his chair, turned to the side, looked at the vast night sky, his eyes reflecting the stars, and said softly, "I'm really happy."
This was the first time Ai had taken the initiative to ask him out. They say the beginning is always the hardest, but once you get the first time, there will probably be a second and a third soon.
