Actually, I wanted to tell you...
Halfway through his speech, Guangyou suddenly stopped and did not continue.
Guangyou felt like he was being a bit dramatic. He kept getting interrupted when he wanted to speak, and afterwards he would complain that he was never allowed to speak.
Now that it's just the two of them, they're sure they can say it, but they interrupted themselves.
Actually, it wasn't that he didn't want to talk, he was just suddenly a little shy.
After all, this was the first time he had said this to a girl with such a serious attitude, so it was understandable that he felt shy before saying it.
"say what?"
Ai was very patient and didn't complain about Kousuke not saying anything.
She rested her chin on her hand, her beautiful eyes fixed on Guangyou, and said softly, "It's fine to wait until you're ready. I'm not in a hurry."
"No need, I've already made preparations."
Looking at the girl's pretty face, Guangyou chuckled to himself for a moment before speaking with a very serious expression the words he had long wanted to say but had never actually uttered.
"Ai, I like you."
Four simple words, it wouldn't take much time to write them out, and only a second or two to say them, but Guangyou spent a whole day preparing for them.
To be precise, it's one day and three minutes.
In the original plan, Kwang-yu wanted to say this on the Ferris wheel.
As the Ferris wheel reached its highest point, the first firework burst into dazzling light in the sky.
At that moment, Guangyou held her in his arms and said those words with deep affection.
This is a scene from Guangyou's fantasy. In reality, when the Ferris wheel was about to reach its highest point, several bombs exploded along with the fireworks.
The words I wanted to say got stuck in my throat halfway through.
Although the atmosphere isn't as romantic now, the most important things have never left.
That's the two of them.
The atmosphere naturally arises whenever the two of them are present.
The scenes that Guangyou had imagined before were just icing on the cake, not the most important thing.
Guangyou can distinguish this point.
"Just as I expected..."
Ai had already guessed what Kousuke wanted to say to her, and had prepared herself for it.
To her surprise, hearing Guangyou say those words in person made her feel incredibly unsettled.
Ai lowered her head so that Kōyū couldn't see the corners of her mouth turn up, twirled the end of her hair with her fingers, and asked, "Why do you like me?"
"Because I love your smile. To me, your smile is like most cherry blossoms in bloom—clean and gentle."
Guangyou couldn't suppress his smile. He leaned back on the pillow, his head slightly raised, as if he were reminiscing.
He continued, "Your smiling eyes are like gentle twilight, or the faint moon and clouds in the mountains, which have moved my heart time and time again, and still do now."
Hearing this, Ai raised her head, no longer hiding her smile, and asked, "Like this?"
Guangyou turned to look at her, his smile widening. He nodded and said, "That's right, exactly."
"Then let me ask you another question."
Ai seemed intrigued and asked again, "What do you like about me?"
Guangyou shook his head, sighed, and said, "I don't know what I like about you, I really don't know."
Before Ai could even speak, he continued:
"If I'm sure I know what I like about you, it means I don't like you enough."
"Because I don't know exactly what I like about you, I like everything about you and everything else."
Ai's lips curved upwards even further; these words truly touched the softest part of her heart.
No one is perfect; even the most perfect person has flaws.
Not to mention someone like her who has absolutely nothing to do with perfection.
She has many flaws, and even she herself can easily point out several.
But Kuang-yu never cared; he was always tolerant.
Sometimes Ai even feels that she doesn't deserve Kousuke's kindness towards her.
After she had subtly expressed her feelings to Guangyou, he simply reached out and ruffled her hair, then chuckled and scolded, "Silly girl, don't overthink it."
"Next question."
Ai looked at Kousuke and asked seriously, "Do you even know what 'like' means?"
Guangyou shook his head again and said slowly, "Everything I see looks like you."
"I look at the moon, and it reminds me of you."
"Looking at the stars, they remind me of you."
"Those bright, clear, gentle, and serene lights all remind me of you."
These words had nothing to do with the question she asked. Although Ai was puzzled, she did not interrupt him to continue.
Kōyū looked at Ai and smiled, "I don't really understand what 'like' means. All I know is that everything I see is you."
These words were extremely damaging. Xiao Ai felt her heart tremble twice, and her eyes softened.
She actually wanted to pretend that she wasn't moved, but those words pierced her heart.
"One last question."
Ai suppressed the flutter in her heart and asked, "Do you know what the word 'like' means?"
"To me, the word 'like' represents a promise I make to you."
Guangyou's eyes were extremely gentle, and the curve of his lips was just right. He continued, "One of the contents is a promise of never abandoning or giving up, and the validity period is ten thousand years."
This is Guangyou's own view.
He remembered seeing a TV series before.
One scene in the TV series perfectly illustrates his point of view:
