The next morning, screams echoed from a room on the third floor of the Mouri Detective Agency.
"Conan, be gentle, it hurts... ah~"
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!"
"Ah~ that feels good, oh~"
"Sri Kingdom One~"
Guangyou gritted his teeth and closed his eyes, quietly feeling the pain and pleasure mixed in with the pain coming from his lower body, and his forehead was covered with fine beads of sweat.
"What are you yelling for?"
Conan took a breath, shook his hand, and said speechlessly, "It's just giving you a massage, why are you making such a fuss?"
"What what?"
Kōyū was taken aback, then realized what was happening, glared at Conan, and shouted, "I treat you like a brother, and you actually have such inappropriate thoughts about me! How despicable!"
As he spoke, he used both hands to support himself as he moved to the corner of the bed, pulled the blanket over his entire body, and looked at Conan warily, saying, "Don't even think about it, I'm already taken!"
"Get lost."
Conan rolled his eyes, cursed at Kōyū using a catchphrase he'd picked up from him, then got out of bed, swinging his arms and saying gleefully, "You were quite agile yesterday, how come you're all paralyzed in bed today?"
Seeing that Conan wasn't joking, Kōyū also dropped the idea, returned to his seat, and obediently lay back down in bed, saying, "It's not exactly paralyzed, but my whole body aches terribly, ouch~ ha~"
I feel sorry for you for a second.
Conan cracked his knuckles and continued, "Judging from your condition that night, I reckon you'll be spending most of the next few days in bed."
"There was no other way. If I hadn't done that in that situation, I would definitely be dead."
Guangyou took it easy and said nonchalantly, "Anyway, I needed to rest for a while anyway, so I might as well just lie down."
Conan gave Kwangyu a disdainful look and said, "It's fine for you to lie down, just don't bother me later. I'm not going to take care of you."
"Heh, need you?"
Kōyū glanced at Conan out of the corner of his eye, his eyes filled with disdain. "You think I'll be left without anyone to take care of me?"
"Oh, I forgot about that person."
Conan coughed awkwardly and said, "It's alright then. You can lie there. I'm going to read a book for a while. I have to go to school later."
"Go."
Guangyou casually agreed and then closed his eyes, preparing to rest for a while.
"Bang.."
That's the sound of a door closing.
"This guy should be a little gentler, can't he see there are still wounded inside?"
Guangyou shook his head helplessly and sighed, "There's nothing we can do but lie in bed for a few days. This is already a stroke of luck amidst misfortune."
The story begins from the beginning. Last night, after Ai went to sleep, Kōyū had no one to talk to, so he closed his eyes and went to sleep.
When Guangyou woke up in the morning, he wanted to go to the toilet to relieve himself, but before he could even get out of bed, he suddenly felt all his strength go to waste and collapsed onto the bed.
Immediately afterwards, waves of pain surged towards him like the Qiantang River tide, the intense pain causing him to cry out.
"It's over, the aftereffects of overworking myself."
That was Shi Guangyou's idea at the time.
He was all too familiar with this feeling; it was clearly muscle soreness caused by excessive lactic acid buildup in his muscles!
It happens frequently at the beginning of training, but becomes rare after you get to the next level.
Even if you encounter it occasionally, it's very weak, and you just need to rest for a while.
This was the first time in many years that he had collapsed like this.
Then he asked Conan, whom he had woken up, to give him a massage.
Hopefully, this will help relax the muscles and allow for a faster recovery.
Then the thing that just happened occurred.
Actually, he's not completely immobile now; if he can bear the soreness, he can still move.
Why choose an uncomfortable method when you can feel comfortable?
Now that I can't move, someone will come to take care of me while I'm lying in bed.
Even if someone takes care of me, I will still feel pain every time I move.
So why not choose the former?
Thinking of all this, Kōyū, lying in bed, called out confidently, "Conan, get me some breakfast!"
There was no response from outside; it was very quiet.
Guangyou wasn't in a hurry; he lay quietly on the bed and waited.
Soon after, the door opened, and Conan walked into the room, holding a hard-boiled egg in his hand.
"You're such a busybody."
Conan, still chewing something, quickly walked to Kouyu's bedside and mumbled, "Open your mouth."
"ah…"
Kōyū opened his mouth, raised an eyebrow at Conan, and his eyes seemed to say, "You say you don't care, but your actions speak louder than words."
"Don't overthink it. Xiaolan asked me to bring you breakfast. Otherwise, I wouldn't have come."
After swallowing the food in his mouth, Conan broke the hard-boiled egg in his hand in half, and stuffed one half directly into Kouyu's mouth, saying indifferently, "Eat up, I still have to go to school after you finish eating."
"Are you trying to murder me, or are you trying to murder me?"
Guangyou, biting into a hard-boiled egg, mumbled, "There's not even any water. What if I choke?"
"Are you really spoiling me? Eat if you want, but if you don't want to eat, I won't serve you anymore."
Conan rolled his eyes, handed the other half of the hard-boiled egg to Kōyū, and said, "You wait here, I'll go get you some milk."
Taking the hard-boiled egg, Kōyū swallowed it, watched Conan's departing figure, and chuckled: "A typical case of saying one thing but doing another."
"Eating it with the yolk in it is indeed drier."
Guangyou glanced at the hard-boiled egg in his hand, then decisively took small bites. "But at least it's better than nothing."
