What do you need the newspaper for?
Conan watched Ai walk past him and couldn't help but ask a question.
"it works."
Ai sat back down and gave a nonchalant reply.
She took out the scissors from the drawer and carefully cut out the section of the newspaper that reported the Ferris wheel bombing.
"Are you going to collect this?"
Conan guessed her thoughts just by seeing her behavior.
"Is that not allowed?"
As Ai asked a question, she reached for a book and tucked the cut-out newspaper clipping inside.
This was a big deal for her.
Because of this incident, she understood Guangyou's feelings for her.
Whether it was that lunge to save him or the look in his eyes when he fell, everything he did revealed Guangyou's feelings.
The confession at the hospital was even more direct.
Whenever she sees the picture in the newspaper, she is reminded of that night, and she kept it purely as a memento.
She plans to compile these things into a booklet, or something like a memoir.
It will be quite enjoyable to take it out and look at it when I have time in the future.
"I didn't say no, you can continue."
Conan shrugged, then turned back to continue flipping through Sherlock Holmes.
"Ring ring~"
Before he could look at it for long, lunch break was over and the school bell rang again.
…
Around 3 p.m., the bell rang precisely when get out of class ended.
Not long after, the once quiet Teitan Elementary School suddenly became noisy.
Groups of elementary school students carrying backpacks walked out of the school, some alone, some in twos and threes, and some waiting for their parents at the gate.
"Let's go visit Guangyou."
Ayumi walked at the front of the group, calling out to the others who were lagging behind her.
"I feel like they're all more worried about Kwang-yu than you are."
Conan turned his head and glanced at Ai, who was walking about a step behind him, and teased her.
Is this interesting?
Ai didn't even glance at him, and continued walking forward on her own.
However, it was obvious that she quickened her pace.
She quickly overtook Conan, and even the three little ones walking in front.
Conan glanced at Ai Haibara, who had walked in front of him, and raised an eyebrow, saying, "She's quite interesting."
…
The group walked along the road toward the office.
While passing a supermarket, Yuan Tai suddenly suggested, "Let's go buy some food for Guangyou!"
"good."
The proposal was agreed upon by everyone.
How could you visit a sick or injured person without bringing anything?
With this in mind, the three little ones excitedly entered the supermarket, each taking out their pocket money and starting to plan what to buy.
Yuan Tai pointed to the carbonated drinks on the shelf next to him and said, "Let's buy soda! It's really good!"
"No, soda will put a strain on your body and isn't suitable for Guangyou."
Mitsuhiko walked to the dairy section, picked up a carton of milk, and said, "Milk is still more suitable."
"How about those chocolate chip cookies? I love them."
Genta looked at the snacks on the shelf, and swallowed hard, remembering their crispy texture.
"Genta! We didn't come here to buy you snacks, so don't pick what you like!"
While picking out items, Ayumi said to Genta with dissatisfaction, "You need to pick out some things that are suitable for the patient."
"That…"
Genta scratched his head, looking quite troubled. "I don't know what to choose..."
"We should choose..."
…
While the three little ones were discussing these things, Ai had already walked to the fresh food counter.
"Let's make soup."
Ai already had a list of the ingredients she needed in her mind.
As for what ingredients to choose, she had already researched online and knew them by heart.
Therefore, she made her selections very quickly, and soon she had chosen all the ingredients on the list.
There was nothing else she wanted to buy besides these ingredients, so Ai carried her shopping basket to the cashier to pay.
When they were paying, Ayumi saw what Ai had bought and asked curiously, "Ai, did you buy all this to cook for Kousuke?"
She was the one who was closest to Ai among the three, and she knew some things about the two of them.
"Um."
Ai nodded readily and agreed.
"I'll learn to cook too! That way I can..."
The little girl stopped mid-sentence, but her adorable big eyes secretly glanced at Conan.
"Then keep it up. You need to practice a lot to see results."
Ai glanced at Conan, then looked away and took out enough money from her wallet to hand to the cashier.
Please take care on your journey.
Amidst the farewells from the supermarket staff, the group left the supermarket.
…
"Kuyo, Ayumi and the others have come to see you."
Conan pushed open the door on the third floor and called out into the room.
Then, he led the three of them into his and Guangyou's room.
At this moment, Guangyou was leaning against the headboard, holding a pure black notebook in his hands, writing and drawing.
Hearing the noise outside the door, he closed the book and placed it under his pillow.
As soon as the book was placed down, Conan pushed the door open.
"Kuangyou, we heard you were injured, so we all came to see you."
Ayumi placed a bag of snacks on the bedside table and said, "These are snacks we brought for you. We hope you recover quickly."
"Thank you, but it's enough that you came. Buying all this stuff would be a waste of money."
A warm feeling rose in Guangyou's heart, and he quickly said to the three of them, "I can't finish eating all of these. Why don't we all eat them together now?"
