Chapter 6: The Murder Case During the Piano Concerto "Moonlight" (Part 2) shuhaige.net

Moonlight streamed through the window, illuminating Asai Makoto's face. The scene she had witnessed during the day made her uneasy.

So she got out of bed, went to the beach, and Mitsuyu, who had been keeping an eye on Asai Makoto, quietly followed her out.

Looking at Makoto Asai's back as she sat on the beach, Kouyu felt a sense of helplessness and heartache over her story. After watching for a while, Kouyu went back to sleep.

Daylight broke quickly, and Inspector Megure arrived on the island. Makoto Asai also left for a while under the pretext of washing his face.

She originally intended to use this time to deal with Kuroiwa Tatsuji, but then she discovered that Kuroiwa Tatsuji had already died inside, and that he had done so according to her plan. Asai Makoto's fear intensified.

As the interrogation time passed, the police found no valuable clues and made no progress.

At this moment, Conan noticed that although Ken Nishimoto had finished his interrogation, he still hadn't left.

However, while he was still wondering, Nishimoto Ken left. Looking in the direction Nishimoto Ken left, he thought Nishimoto Ken went to the toilet, but after asking Mr. Shimizu who was also in the toilet, he found out that he hadn't.

Seeing the stairs next to him, Conan thought to himself, "Oh no!" and hurriedly ran up the stairs. Just as he was about to reach them, the sound of "Moonlight Sonata" rang out again!

What came into Conan's view was Ken Nishimoto opening the door, but Ken Nishimoto seemed to see something, his face showing undisguised terror, his whole body trembling, and he collapsed to the ground.

Conan's heart sank. Sure enough, when he arrived at the door, he found Kuroiwa Tatsuji lying motionless in a pool of blood!

Since the coroner had gone to Tokyo to dissect Mr. Kawashima's body, Makoto Asai stepped forward and offered to perform the autopsy herself.

After she finished the autopsy, as planned, she determined that the time of death was a few minutes before the body was discovered. Inspector Megure, holding a recording, also supported Asai Makoto's statement.

No useful clues were found at the scene, so everyone returned to the hall.

In the hall, Conan listened to Ran's hint and immediately deciphered the code from the incorrect fourth section of the musical score. Similarly, Conan also successfully deciphered the code from the musical score left on the ground.

Ken Nishimoto seemed to breathe a sigh of relief and shouted loudly, "As expected, Keiji Aso really didn't die!"

Before he could finish shouting, the same elderly policeman who had spoken first interrupted Nishimoto Ken: "Asou Keiji is indeed dead. The bones found at the fire scene have been compared with the teeth, and it's definitely Asou Keiji. Apart from the sheet music in the fireproof safe, nothing else was left."

Upon hearing this, Uncle Mori hurriedly shouted to the old policeman, "What? Sheet music?! Where's the sheet music?!"

The elderly policeman was still speaking slowly, saying that it seemed to be in a warehouse, but he had left the key at the police station.

Inspector Megure also said impatiently, "Then why don't you go and get it!"

Conan also ran off with the old policeman.

Kōyū didn't go with them; he stayed behind to help Asai Makoto deal with the remaining person.

An hour passed quickly, and the elderly policeman had just found the key.

Just then, Ran ran into the police station and said to Conan and the old policeman, "You guys are too slow! Everyone got impatient and left."

Conan panicked when he heard that everyone had gone back, because he knew that this matter was not over yet, since "Moonlight Sonata" actually had a third movement. After giving a brief explanation, he quickly ran towards the community center.

When Conan arrived at the community center, he heard a noise coming from the music room. When he opened the door, he saw a figure jump out of the window and run away. Conan tried to chase after him but was tripped by Murasawa Shuichi, who was lying on the ground.

Before Conan could figure out what was going on, Ran's scream startled him. He rushed to Ran's side and found Ken Nishimoto dead in the storage room. Ran pointed out a sheet of music on the floor.

Conan discovers that the coded message in the musical score means a will.

What Guangyou did was actually very simple: he placed something on the ground next to him and deliberately arranged it in a position that looked like it was caused by his struggle.

The crowd gathered around Murasawa Shuichi, but since he was still unconscious, they couldn't ask him anything about the situation.

However, the sharp-eyed Conan noticed something lying on the side. Before he could pick it up, Reiko Kuroiwa snatched it away unhappily, saying that it was something she usually handled very carefully on Monday, even though she didn't know what it was.

However, Conan knew that this was a tool used for tuning a piano, and some of his questions seemed to have been answered. Everyone had left.

Ran noticed Conan fiddling around under the piano, so she went over to ask him what he was doing.

Conan gave a brief explanation, and while he was explaining, he also found the hidden compartment under the piano. However, he was too short, so Ran went over to help him search. Conan noticed some white powder on the floor, picked it up and smelled it, and discovered it was heroin!

Ran also carefully searched the hidden compartment and found the knife that Guangyou had hidden inside.

After Conan gave the knife to Inspector Megure, Inspector Megure immediately had it tested.

At this moment, the photo of Chief Kuroiwa was also developed, and Conan noticed a problem with the lighting in the photo.

Before he could think it through, Hirata Kazuaki used the excuse of being thirsty to buy water and went out first. Conan noticed that Hirata Kazuaki's hand was injured, and his suspicion of him only increased. He followed him out and confirmed that Hirata Kazuaki had made a heroin deal.

Kōyū did not follow them out. Instead, he went back to the broadcasting room and placed the small knife with Nishimoto Ken's fingerprints on it in a corner of the room.
