"But..."
Ran, who wasn't interested in wrestling, wanted to refuse, but before she could even utter the words, Sonoko patted her shoulder and laughed, "No buts, it's settled then. It's not bad to take Kousuke and the others out to broaden their horizons!"
Is it really a good idea to take a child to watch wrestling...?
Xiaolan only thought these words to herself; she would never say them aloud.
Keep the tickets, we'll ask Guangyou and the others for their opinions later.
If they're willing to go, then let them go and see; if they're not, then forget it.
Ran and Sonoko then started chatting about other topics, with Kouyu and Conan following behind. The former was texting on his phone, while the latter had his hands in his pockets and was focused on getting there.
Although Kōsuke didn't say anything, the group still made a point of "passing by" Professor Agasa's house to pick up Ai, who was also on her way to school.
On the way to school, Sonoko somehow started talking about Kōyū, probably out of concern, but most likely because she wanted to gossip.
"Ran, that brat Guangyou and that little girl now..." Sonoko glanced back furtively and saw the two walking side by side. She chuckled and asked softly, "Are they... that kind of relationship?"
Perhaps because they had known each other for so long, even though Sonoko didn't say it very directly, Ran still understood what she meant.
"I don't know what their relationship is like now..." Xiaolan tapped her chin with her finger, tilted her head back and thought for a while, and said, "If you ask me, they probably haven't reached that point yet, but I feel they're close. I don't know for sure, and besides, I'm too embarrassed to ask."
Sonoko nodded, glanced at Ai with a smile out of the corner of her eye, and sighed: "If it were before, I would never have imagined that one day I would be fed a mouthful of dog food by two children. I never expected it."
Xiao Lan agreed: "Don't even mention you, I didn't expect it either, but to be honest, they're quite sweet together."
"I think so too. Guangyou is a young kid, but he's got a knack for flirting with girls. He's so nice to that girl, has a good temper, knows how to compliment people, can cook, and can sing. Tsk, he's practically the ideal guy."
Sonoko looked on with envy, "That girl is nice too. During the days when Kouyu was injured, she cooked for him every day and took such good care of him. The two of them were so sweet."
Thinking of this, Sonoko clasped her hands together and automatically entered her imagination mode: "I wish Makoto and I could be like that."
But the next second, Sonoko let go, head bowed in defeat: "Unfortunately, that's impossible..."
Looking at the garden, Xiaolan shook her head helplessly, smiled, and said nothing.
That's just how my best friend is—she comes and goes quickly. Xiaolan can bet that Yuanzi will be back to normal in less than ten seconds.
nineteen..
As Xiaolan counted to five in her mind, Yuanzi beside her regained her energy: "Ran, teach me how to cook sometime!"
"Would you like to cook for Mr. Kyogoku?" Ran immediately saw through Sonoko's intentions. "If you're serious, you can come to my house today, and I'll teach you a very simple home-style dish."
"Then I'll call home first."
As she spoke, Sonoko took out her phone and sent a text message to her father, briefly explaining that she wouldn't be coming home for dinner that day.
After sending the text message, Sonoko continued chatting with Ran, telling her about what happened on her day off.
Xiaolan, on the other hand, was a good listener, attentively listening to Sonoko speak and occasionally interjecting a few words to avoid making it seem as if Sonoko was talking to herself.
The remaining three walked behind. Kōyū and Ai were whispering to each other, while Conan, having no one to talk to, could only kick the pebbles on the ground with boredom.
Soon the group arrived at the entrance of Teitan Elementary School.
After saying goodbye to Sonoko and Ran, Kouyu and the others stepped into the gate of Teitan Elementary School and headed towards Class 1-B.
The classroom was still bustling with activity, with people huddled together in twos and threes, talking about whatever they could be.
It's probably still Kamen Rider...
"Good morning!"
Just seconds after entering the classroom, Ayumi's sweet greeting rang out at the opportune moment.
"Good morning, Ayumi."
After responding to Ayumi's greeting, the three returned to their respective seats.
Sitting in his seat, Kōyū began to consider the possibility of Noah's Ark appearing.
I had already thought about most of it last night, such as having Professor Agasa write a firewall and setting up servers.
But this is just a general plan; he still needs to refine the details.
For example, does the firewall need to provide specific protection for a particular aspect?
Of course, Professor Agasa might not be able to complete this, so Mitsuyu will have to find some professionals to finish this part and then integrate it into the firewall.
If Dr. Agasa's firewall is the foundation, then what Kōsuke does is to hire people to lay bricks on top, eventually building a house.
And other minor issues like which brand of server to buy and how many to buy.
Guangyou, who wasn't very familiar with servers, took out his phone and searched online, eventually finding the official website of a well-regarded server provider.
To match the identity of Noah's Ark, Guangyou felt that he couldn't skimp on the money and should just go for the highest configuration.
After Guangyou maxed out all the configurations, he prepared to place an order on their official website.
When it came time to pay for the order, Guangyou saw the long string of zeros, and his finger froze in mid-air for a long time before he pressed the checkout button.
Forget it, the top-of-the-line model is too expensive. Let's go down a bit and get the mid-range one.
