"I didn't expect it to be stolen after all. Although I don't know what secret the gem holds, I will still try my best to get it back!"
Takagi and Miwako responded, saluted, and went to investigate the scene.
Kōyū was very interested in this organization and asked, "Inspector Megure, do you know what this organization is called?"
Inspector Megure thought for a moment: "I'm not entirely sure, I only know that the people inside use animal code names, and the leader seems to be called Eagle."
Guangyou couldn't help but ponder for a moment.
"Inspector Megure, we found this at the scene." Takagi said to Inspector Megure, holding up a feather.
"Feathers? A symbol representing an eagle? Or something else? They have no connection whatsoever!" After thinking it over and over, Kōyū still couldn't figure out what the connection was between the feathers and that animal tissue.
Upon entering the museum, many police officers were examining the traces around. One of the empty platforms in the center of the museum caught the eye.
Guangyou stepped forward and looked at the booth, which displayed pictures and descriptions of the original exhibits.
Looking at the picture above, Guangyou felt that the gemstone was somewhat familiar, but he couldn't quite place it.
At that moment, a somewhat aged voice came over: "Hey, isn't this Guangyou?"
Kōyū turned around and looked at him with a hint of surprise on his face: "Director Ochiai?"
The owner of that voice was none other than Ochiai, the museum's director from the last visit.
"Grandpa Curator, what are you doing here?" Guangyou asked.
Ochiai smiled and said, "After what happened last time, the higher-ups took it very seriously. They said they wanted to protect the culture and not let businessmen take over the cultural space to make money. In addition, the curator of this museum is a good friend of mine. He is not in good health, so the higher-ups appointed me to serve as the curator concurrently."
At this point, a hint of anger appeared on Ochiai's face: "I didn't expect that such a terrible incident would occur so soon after I arrived. It's truly infuriating."
Guangyou only had a basic understanding of the gemstone for the time being, and out of curiosity, he asked, "Grandpa Curator, could you tell me more about this gemstone?"
With his hands behind his back and his head slightly raised, Ochiai recalled, "I have a deep impression of that gem. At first glance, you might think it's just an ordinary emerald, but if you look closely, you'll see a profound beauty, a mysterious feeling."
"I don't know if I'm mistaken, but I always feel that the gemstone exudes a sense of life."
Upon hearing this, Guangyou stroked his chin and pondered. He always felt a sense of knowing everything, but that feeling was as if it were veiled, making it impossible for him to grasp.
