Chapter 650 The Great Detective's Tracking Plan

After leaving the school, Conan secretly followed behind Mitsuyu and Ai.

In his heart, Guangyou was definitely hiding something.

But what exactly is he hiding?

If what Guangyou said before was true, then it means that this matter is related to those people.

So here's the question: why not let him know about this?

While following Mitsuyu, Conan was also thinking about this.

After following for a minute or two, Conan suddenly thought of a possibility: could the reason why Mitsuyu didn't tell him be because he was worried that he would act on his own after knowing the news?

This idea grew and spread wildly in Conan's mind, and the more he thought about it, the more likely it seemed!

Given his personality, that's entirely possible.

Even Conan himself thinks so. If he knew about the other party, he could usually remain calm, but if he was emotionally provoked, he would probably act on his own.

"I'm not the kind of person who doesn't understand the bigger picture," Conan muttered to himself, looking at Kōyū ahead. "It would have been much better to discuss it together. Why did you have to keep it from me? And this direction..."

Conan had been pondering something, and only now did he realize that this direction seemed familiar: "Isn't this the way to Dr. Agasa's house? Could it be that he's going to discuss something with Dr. Agasa?"

"I want to see what he's hiding..."

Having made up his mind, Conan quickened his pace, following behind Mitsuyu and the other man. "By the way, have they noticed me?"

"I don't think so, I hid it so well."

...

Conan followed Kousuke to Professor Agasa's house, and after Kousuke and Conan went inside, they didn't come out.

This confirmed Conan's earlier thought: Kousuke definitely wanted to discuss things with Professor Agasa.

Although Mitsuyu's intentions were good, as he was worried that Mitsuyu might act impulsively, Conan still felt that Mitsuyu's behavior was somewhat inappropriate.

They've been through so much together, shouldn't they trust each other a little?

Conan, intending to cause trouble for Kōyū, walked straight into Professor Agasa's yard, only to find that the door was open, as if it had been left open specifically for him.

"We've been discovered..." Conan was speechless. He had thought he had hidden himself very well.

It seems we underestimated Guangyou; after all, he's a professional.

As soon as Conan entered the room, he heard what Mitsuyu said: "I'm not joking. Although I haven't confirmed it yet, I trust him completely. He is definitely an artificial intelligence with self-learning capabilities."

Upon hearing this, Conan was initially surprised that Kōyū possessed artificial intelligence. He thought that if used properly, it would be of great help in the future.

But if you don't use it properly, you'll really be shooting yourself in the foot.

This is a double-edged sword.

After that, Conan realized that artificial intelligence was definitely not something that Mitsuyuu had created; that guy certainly couldn't have made it.

This isn't Conan looking down on Kōyū; he's simply stating a fact.

Once this is realized, a question strikes at the heart of Conan's mind: who gave Kousuke the artificial intelligence he possesses?

It's impossible for someone who can create artificial intelligence not to know its importance.

Those who love money have the opportunity to use artificial intelligence to develop various high-tech products.

Those with malicious intent can even instruct artificial intelligence to maliciously infiltrate other people's companies or private computers to obtain trade secrets.

In a short period of time, one can occupy the vast majority of the market share and thus smoothly become a wealthy person.

Given enough time, becoming the world's richest person is not entirely impossible.

The same applies to those who crave power. Once they acquire leverage over artificial intelligence, climbing the ranks becomes relatively easy; it's practically like having a cheat code.

Conan could think of many other possibilities like this.

That's why Conan is very curious about who would give something like this to Mitsuyu.

Regardless of who that person is, the only thing that is clear is that person absolutely trusts Kōyū.

Otherwise, they wouldn't have given something like this to Guangyou.

unless...

"Unless that person is near death and, in order not to waste their hard work, they can only entrust it to Mitsuyu."

"It's also possible that Guangyou stole the artificial intelligence that a certain force was secretly developing, and deliberately fabricated a reason to cover it up."

It's not impossible; Conan thinks Mitsuyu would definitely do something like that.

"However, it cannot be ruled out that Guangyou was actually playing a prank. In other words, there was no artificial intelligence at all from beginning to end, and the whole thing was a prank orchestrated by these people to amuse me."

This isn't impossible; Conan thinks that Kousuke, who's bored out of his mind, might very well do something like this.

It has to be said, a famous detective is a famous detective; his mind works incredibly fast.

In just a few seconds, so many thoughts flashed through Conan's mind.

There's even a good chance he'll have time to consider these ideas.

However, the truth depends on what Mitsuyu says. With that in mind, Conan asked, "Compared to artificial intelligence, I'd rather know who the person who gave you artificial intelligence is?"

Hearing Conan's voice, Kōyū turned around and glanced at the curious boy standing at the door: "Hey, isn't this the great detective? When did the great detective start following ordinary students?"

As expected, they were discovered.

Faced with Kōyō's sarcastic remarks, Conan stammered for a while, admitting that he had indeed done it and couldn't deny it.

So Conan gave up on trying to explain and forced himself to say, "Mainly... you never told me before, so I was really curious."
