Chapter 68 The Ecstasy of Cries

As dusk fell, the rain continued to drizzle.

Sonoko watched the rain, feeling impatient. Looking at her watch, she complained, "If it rains, we can only wait for Mr. Michiwaki to arrive. How annoying! When will it stop raining? It's raining now!"

Ran comforted Sonoko, while Mitsu and Conan stood nearby, whispering to each other.

"Do you also think there's something wrong with that Michiwaki Masahiko?" Conan looked at Kouyu, his face slightly serious.

“Yes, I always felt that he was the murderer who killed the girl with tea-colored hair.” Guangyou’s expression was equally solemn.

Conan was somewhat surprised to hear Mitsuyu's deduction: "You think so? I originally thought he might have come to curry favor with Sonoko because he knew her family was rich."

Kōyū shook his head: "That's impossible. That Michiwaki Masahiko is probably the murderer, but I have absolutely no evidence right now."

Conan was getting impatient: "Without evidence, what should we do?!"

At this moment, Guangyou patted his pocket: "We can mess with him even without evidence! Just wait and see."

Suddenly, the door behind the four of them opened, and Kyogoku Makoto placed an umbrella next to them. After placing it, he closed the door without saying a word.

Pointing at the umbrella, Sonoko hesitated for a moment: "Does he mean he wants us to use this umbrella?"

"I think this Kyogoku Makoto is also interested in Sonoko-neechan! It's strange, we used to only have one every six months, but today two have suddenly appeared. Sonoko-neechan, you seem to be having a lot of luck with the ladies today!"

Kōyū couldn't help but chuckle mischievously, "Oh my, is Sonoko-neechan having trouble deciding which one to choose?"

Hearing this, Sonoko's face flushed red instantly: "Kuangyou, what do you know, you little kid! Don't talk nonsense! That person is gloomy, I don't like him at all!"

"Maybe she's jealous? Seeing you and Mr. Michiwaki might make her feel a little uncomfortable, that's why she acted that way! Besides, Kyogoku Makoto is incredibly strong! He makes me feel completely safe!"

They love a good show, and since Kōyū also knows what happened later, he just kept teasing Sonoko. If he could get a couple together sooner, wouldn't that be a great deed?

The once carefree and unrestrained Yuanzi now displays the demeanor of a young woman.

Sonoko felt her pocket was empty, so she rummaged through it carefully and said, "Oh no, I forgot my wallet in my room. I'll go back and get it."

After Sonoko left for a while, it was as if a door in Kouyu's mind had been opened. His pupils shrank sharply, and he knew something was wrong. Ignoring Ran's calls, he ran straight to Sonoko's room.

After running to Sonoko's room, Kousuke's exceptional hearing allowed him to hear sounds of struggle coming from inside.

Guangyou rushed inside.

Sure enough, as soon as they entered, they saw a man holding down the garden, the knife in his hand gleaming coldly in the moonlight.

Guangyou didn't say much. He took out a seashell he had specially picked up on the beach from his pocket, flicked his wrist, and the seashell shot towards the man.

The seashell struck the man's wrist with a crisp sound, and the man loosened his grip, causing the knife to fall directly to the ground.

At this moment, Sonoko was devastated. Just as the man was about to stab her with the knife, she heard a "clatter" and the knife fell to the ground. Sonoko didn't dare to open her eyes to see what would happen next.

However, immediately afterward, with her eyes closed, she seemed to hear a knife fall to the ground and a man scream. She cautiously opened her eyes and found that the knife had already fallen to the side.

The man in black was also huddled in the corner with his arms crossed. In front of him was a small figure. In the moonlight, Sonoko recognized him and exclaimed, "Kouyu?"

Guangyou smiled, though the darkness made it difficult to see the smile.

Kōyū said, "Get up, Sonoko-neechan, it's alright now."

Ran and Conan also rushed over and asked, "Sonoko, what happened? I saw Kouyu running over, so I followed him."

Ran turned on the light and came in. The scene she saw surprised her: "Sonoko, what's wrong? And isn't that Mr. Michiwaki?"

Upon hearing this, Sonoko turned her head and saw that it really was Michiwaki Masahiko. Large tears streamed down her face as she sobbed, "Why is it always people like this who are interested in me? God, I hate you!"

Xiaolan quickly stepped forward and patted Yuanzi's back to comfort her.

Lying on the ground, Masahiko Michiwaki knew what his fate was. He desperately wanted to escape, but he just couldn't get up; he felt uncomfortable all over.

"Yo ho! You little brat, you dare to walk right into our trap!" Kōyū walked toward Mōwaki Masahiko with a smile on his face.

Fear flashed in Michiwaki Masahiko's eyes, but he still forced himself to say, "What do you want?"

"Hehehe, not very good." Guangyou grinned mischievously and pulled a bag full of powder from his pocket.

"Hey kid, what are you doing? Don't come any closer!"

Ignoring Masahiko Michiwaki's words, Kousuke opened the bag and sprinkled it on a certain part of Masahiko Michiwaki's body.

"Shh, just enjoy it!" The smile on Kōyū's face made Mōwaki Masahiko feel a little uneasy.

A few seconds later, Masahiko Michiwaki felt as if ants were crawling on that area, causing an unbearable itch.

Michiwaki Masahiko hurriedly reached out to scratch, and once he started scratching, he couldn't stop.

The pleasure of tickling made Masahiko Michiwaki "unable to stop".

After crying for a while, Sonoko stopped crying. Angrily, she walked up to Michiwaki Masahiko, who was looking like he was enjoying himself, and kicked him in the spot he was scratching: "Bastard!"
