“Actually, you can do this.” Kōyū packed the box, turned to Conan and said, “You can pack your gift, put a shipping label on it, and then just leave the gift at the door.”
Seeing Conan deep in thought, Kōyū explained, "Although both are placed at the door, there is a huge difference between the two. Placing them directly at the door will make her think, 'Why didn't he hand them to me himself?'"
Having said that, Conan understood everything. He nodded with sudden realization and sighed, "You're right, but I still feel a little regretful."
"Then... why don't you just tell Ran your identity directly?" Guangyou took out a ribbon, tied a pretty bow on the box, and nodded in satisfaction.
To be honest, Mitsuyu doesn't care whether Conan will tell Ran his identity; overall, the impact is actually quite small.
Furthermore, if Ran knew that Conan was actually Shinichi Kudo, the way the two interacted would definitely change.
If Sonoko discovers the change in their relationship...
Thinking about it this way, Kōyū realized that he was actually looking forward to Conan revealing his identity.
However, this is just wishful thinking.
"Let's do it your way." Conan sighed, bent down to unmold the chocolate, and didn't say anything more.
Kōyū glanced at Conan, shook his head helplessly, turned and left the kitchen, leaving behind only the words, "I'm going out to prepare something."
After leaving the Kudo residence, Kōyū went directly to a nearby courier delivery point and bought several cardboard boxes, asking the delivery person to attach shipping labels to them.
Of course, Guangyou paid some money and spent a lot of time on this.
Using the same method, he sneaked into the Kudo residence and returned to the kitchen, where he saw Conan sitting blankly in a chair with a package of chocolates in his hand.
"Here, pack it up." Kōyū placed one of the smaller cardboard boxes in front of Conan, then set up the box himself and put the packaged chocolates inside.
"You're just sending some chocolates, right?" Conan glanced at Kouyu's cardboard box and asked疑惑地问道, "Why does it need such a big box?"
“Who said I only sent a chocolate?” Kwang-woo gave him a strange look, then turned and walked to a cabinet in the kitchen, taking out a gift bag hidden inside.
"I prepared two gifts, and the chocolate is just one of them." Guangyou waved the gift bag in his hand at him, returned to the table, and neatly put the gift box and the jewelry box from the gift bag into the cardboard box.
"What's this...?" Conan noticed the golden ginkgo leaf logo on the gift box and felt it looked familiar, as if he had seen it somewhere before. After thinking for a while, he finally remembered, "You also bought a bag?"
Guangyou nodded and explained, "Yes, I bought this a few days ago, the day you texted me."
I wonder if that girl will like this gift.
"You're really generous," Conan said, setting up the cardboard box and putting his chocolates inside. "This bag must have been expensive, right?"
Pulling out a chair and sitting down, Guangyou waved his hand dismissively: "Just a few hundred thousand, nothing special~"
Conan remained silent.
I suddenly feel like hitting someone.
"Hehe..." Seeing the change in Conan's expression, Kōyū knew that he had achieved his goal, so he changed the subject and said, "I'll go get the tape."
After saying that, he got up and left the kitchen.
Conan glanced at Kouyu's departing figure, his expression somewhat complicated, and muttered to himself, "Thanks."
He could tell that Guangyou was just trying to lighten the mood by acting like a nouveau riche.
This person... I really don't know what to say about him.
A moment later, Guangyou returned to the kitchen with the tape.
"I forgot to mention earlier," Mitsuyu said to Conan as soon as he returned to the kitchen. "You could write a letter to Ran, telling her about your current situation. Ideally, write it like a love letter, the more cheesy the better. Tsk, that would definitely prevent Ran from getting angry."
"Love...love letter!" Conan's face flushed red, and he stammered, shaking his head quickly, "I really can't write that kind of thing."
“I know you can’t write, I was just kidding.” Guangyou found it amusing. “But you still have to write the letter. As for what to write, I can’t tell you. You can decide for yourself. Of course, this is just a suggestion. It’s okay if you don’t write it.”
Then, a silence fell between the two of them.
Knowing that Conan was thinking, Kōyū didn't disturb him.
After a moment of silence, Conan nodded, looking somewhat serious, and said, "I'll go get a pen."
Before he could turn around, Guangyou called out to him, "No need, it's just paper and pen, here, I've prepared everything for you."
Turning his head, Conan saw a piece of paper and a pen on the table. Looking up at Kōyū, he said, "You've been thinking this through all along."
"What else?" Guangyou said while sealing the box with tape. "With your brain, could you even think of this method?"
"What do you mean by 'my brain'? I don't like hearing that." Conan retorted before sitting back down in his chair, picking up his pen, and starting to write a letter.
After sealing the box, Kōyū sat in a chair, arms crossed, watching Conan write a letter, wondering if he should write one for that girl someday.
To be honest, he had never actually written a letter like that before.
It seems we can put this on the agenda.
Thinking about how that girl might react after receiving the letter, Kōyū smiled silently.
"I've finished writing." Conan's voice suddenly rang out, pulling Kōyū's thoughts, which had long since drifted away, back to reality.
