When Conan saw Ran crying, he really wanted to investigate why Hirota Masami had already met with misfortune.
Remembering that Hirota Masami had a transmitter that he had accidentally stuck on her, Conan followed the signal to a video game store.
Conan, busy searching for someone, accidentally bumped into a man. This man was really ugly, and upon seeing that Conan was a child, he kicked Conan away.

Ran, believing the man to be the murderer, felt heartbroken for what had happened to Hirota Masami. She opened the window and jumped down to the ground. Ran immediately questioned the man about where Masami was.
Upon realizing he had been discovered, the man didn't say a word, turned around and ran. He quickly ran to his car, ready to drive away.
However, Xiaolan jumped up and kicked the car window, breaking it, and then pulled the man out of the car.
When Conan and Mitsuyu saw this, they couldn't help but think to themselves that Ran's other side was so formidable.
Of course, Conan had seen a lot when he was still Shinichi, so he had fewer complaints in his mind than Kouyuki.
Seeing that he couldn't escape, the man quickly explained, "I'm a detective too."
Upon hearing this, Uncle Mori released the man.
After straightening his clothes, the man said, "Someone asked me to help find Mr. Hirota," and then took out a photograph.

Following the signal provided by Conan, Kouyu and his group arrived at a hotel. After confirming that they were indeed staying in room 802, Conan couldn't wait any longer and pressed the elevator button.
As soon as the elevator doors opened, Hirota Masami, who had put on makeup and changed clothes, was revealed. However, Conan and his friends did not recognize her. On the contrary, Hirota Masami was very shocked to see Conan and his group, and accidentally knocked her suitcase to the ground.
Seeing this, the others felt it wouldn't be right not to help. After helping Hirota Masami put her suitcase on her trolley, they went into the elevator.
There was no response to the knocking in room 802. When they pushed the door open, they found it was unlocked. As the light shone through, the scene of Hirota Akira lying in a pool of blood came into view.
