“Three or four days.” Hattori Heiji considered for a moment, then agreed. “Okay, let’s settle on that for now. We’ll confirm the meeting time again before we leave.”
“Sure, I have no problem with that,” Guangyou replied.
He thought the arrangement was pretty good; it would be easier to adjust if something unexpected happened.
"You can decide the time yourselves." While making the call, Kōyū looked around for the "culprit" who was hiding. "If anything comes up, just give me or Conan a call and let them know."
“I know that, nothing should happen.” Hattori Heiji’s tone rose as he chuckled, “That guy’s treating… hehe, I’ll definitely make him bleed.”
Upon hearing this, Kōyū silently prayed for Conan's wallet.
However, both of them knew that this was just talk, a joke, and Heiji wouldn't actually make Conan bleed.
It'll probably just be a bowl of ramen then; Heiji knows his limits.
"Speaking of which, Hattori, are you tired? Your voice sounds a little weak." The more Mitsuyu listened, the more he felt Hattori Heiji seemed exhausted, and he asked with a touch of gossip, "Did you do some strenuous exercise? With whom?"
"With Kazuha." Hattori Heiji didn't sense anything was wrong and answered subconsciously.
"Oh~" Guangyou raised his eyebrows and responded with a drawn-out tone.
At the same time, a meaningful smile appeared on his lips.
Although Kwang-woo knew that what he was thinking was impossible, that didn't stop him from being a little mischievous.
"Are you tired?" Guangyou asked again.
"Of course I'm tired." Hattori Heiji still didn't realize that something was wrong.
"You must have had a hard time." Guangyou said earnestly, but couldn't help but smile. "Take something nourishing to recover."
"I didn't expect you to be so polite." Hattori Heiji couldn't help but complain when he heard Kosuke agree with him. "You have no idea how exhausted I am today. I don't know how those men on TV manage to keep going."
Male actor?
Sorry, Guangyou realizes he really did misunderstand.
"It's a TV after all," Guangyou said calmly, suppressing a smile.
“That makes sense.” Hattori Heiji still didn’t sense anything amiss and agreed with Kōsuke’s statement.
"But honestly, even after training, you can't handle it?" Kōyū exclaimed. "Is Kazuha that strong?"
After he finished speaking, there was no response from the other end of the phone.
After a while, Hattori Heiji's voice finally came through the phone.
He deliberately lowered his voice, as if afraid of being overheard: "I don't know what's wrong, but these past two days, Ms. Ye has been asking me to go shopping with her."
As if Kōsuke had opened his floodgates, Hattori Heiji continued to complain to Kōsuke: "Going shopping is fine, but after four hours you only bought one hair clip, and then you asked me if it looked good on her."
"Going shopping..."
This answer was exactly what Guangyou had expected, so he didn't feel any disappointment.
“Yeah.” Hattori Heiji, unaware of Kouyu’s thoughts, continued to complain, “I was just about to leave when she gave me a sour look. I don’t know who she was trying to impress.”
Perhaps because no one usually listens to his complaints, Hattori Heiji couldn't stop talking once he started: "Don't you think that woman is too boring? It's just that I happen to have nothing to do, otherwise I wouldn't be spending time with that woman."
"That's what you say, but you still spent several days with her." Kōyū's lips twitched slightly, wanting to complain about Hattori Heiji's hypocritical behavior.
Fortunately, he managed to control himself.
"She dragged me to make some handmade chocolates again today," Hattori Heiji said. "I don't know what she's thinking."
Heiji Hattori was so engrossed in his conversation that he didn't notice his voice had returned to its normal volume.
"You melt store-bought chocolate, then let it solidify, and that becomes homemade chocolate." Hattori Heiji couldn't help but complain as he recalled the chocolate-making process. "I wonder who came up with this method."
"Then why didn't you just tell her directly?" Guangyou couldn't help but ask.
"If it weren't for my liking..."
Heiji Hattori realized his mistake after only saying half a sentence and quickly corrected himself, "If I hadn't seen that the woman had nothing to do, how could I have agreed?"
Even though he quickly changed his words, Guangyou still heard it clearly.
"You just said you like her, right?" Guangyou teased.
After chatting for so long, he finally found some gossip that interested him.
"Who said that? I didn't say that," Hattori Heiji denied, forcing a smile. "You must have misheard."
"I didn't mishear." Kōyū had no intention of letting Heiji off so easily.
How could I give up such a great opportunity so easily?
“You must have misheard,” Hattori Heiji replied.
He's made up his mind that he'll never admit it.
"I definitely didn't hear wrong..." As Kōyū said this, he inadvertently caught a glimpse of Genta crouching behind the bushes by the roadside.
He decisively stepped forward quietly, ready to greet Yuan Tai.
As he approached, Kwangyu heard Genta whispering, "He can't find me, he can't find me. As long as I don't move, Kwangyu will never find me..."
It's like self-hypnosis.
Upon hearing this, Guangyou's lips twitched slightly.
He really wanted to say, "Even if you don't move, I can still see you."
