Ten minutes later, Kōyū and Ai arrived at the door of Misari Ito's house.
"Hattori should have succeeded by now." Kōyū looked up, his gaze falling on the window in the attic where the curtains weren't fully drawn, his expression calm as still water.
He didn't feel any pressure; compared to previous missions, this operation was child's play.
They're just a few worthless nobodys; even if they have weapons, it won't change their worthless status.
They are untrained and have weak awareness of prevention; they can be dealt with with just a few simple steps.
If they had remained hidden in the attic, it would have been somewhat troublesome, but now...
According to the plan, Hattori Heiji should have already lured one of them out.
"Be careful." Ai knew that Kousuke didn't take those people seriously, and she had a lot of confidence in him, but she still couldn't help but worry, "Don't underestimate them."
"I know, I'll be careful." Kōyū had forgotten how many times Ai had said similar things since they set off, but he showed no impatience whatsoever.
He simply nodded and said, "Don't worry, it won't crash."
Without lingering at the door, Kōyū walked into Ito Misari's courtyard after saying those words.
Reaching the door, Guangyou reached out and touched the doorknob, testing it with a very subtle movement.
The door wasn't locked, and Guangyou easily opened it. He slipped inside, gently closed the door, and went up the stairs to the second floor.
Looking at the closed door, Ai looked away, her expression changed for a moment before returning to calm. She took out her phone and made a call to the police.
"Someone is being held captive in the attic of the Ito family's house at 16-5, 4-chome, Kenchō-chō..."
...
At the same time, Guangyou went up the stairs to the second floor.
Before leaving, Conan explained to him that he took advantage of the fact that the other party couldn't decipher the code and sent the message "lead them outside first" to Heiji in the same code.
Judging from the current situation, Hattori Heiji has successfully lured people outside.
The one who was led outside is most likely Misari Ito, which means he can start from that angle.
Before him was a row of foldable staircases leading to a hidden attic in the ceiling.
Perhaps because Misari Ito hadn't expected anyone to come, she didn't put the stairs away.
This also greatly facilitated his actions.
After making the decision, Kōyū recalled the characteristics of Ito Misari's voice and first opened his mouth to adjust his voice.
After confirming that there were no major problems, Guangyou opened his mouth and shouted up to the attic: "You guys, come and help! That kid was being disobedient and tried to call the police, so I knocked him out. Come down and bring him up!"
As he spoke, Kōyū took Conan's wristwatch-shaped tranquilizer gun out of his pocket, pressed the button, switched to aiming mode, and aimed it at the entrance to the attic corridor on the ceiling.
At the same time, he put his feet on the stairs, bent over, and stared at the entrance.
With his decent hearing, he heard a male voice coming from the attic. Although the voice was soft, he heard it clearly: "It sounds like a lawyer's voice."
"Go help the lawyer, I'll stay here and keep an eye on things."
Another male voice rang out, "Your boyfriend isn't very cooperative. It seems you two will be spending the last part of your lives here."
"Don't look at me like that. I'll let you two whisper something to each other before you die..."
Listening to the sounds coming from the attic, Guangyou slowly exhaled and stared at the entrance of the attic.
Two seconds later, a headscarf appeared in Guangyou's field of vision.
"So slow..." Guangyou muttered to himself, his hands moving quickly as he pressed the fire button on the wristwatch-shaped tranquilizer gun and simultaneously stomped his feet.
The next second, a man wearing a headscarf poked his head out.
The man saw Guangyou on the stairs, but before he could speak, he felt an overwhelming drowsiness rush to his head.
"Bang!"
As he collapsed, Guangyou had already reached the entrance to the attic via the stairs.
As soon as he climbed up, Guangyou saw another man in the attic, only a step away from him.
They were probably coming to investigate.
He grinned, revealing a set of bright white teeth, and Guangyou smiled very brightly, but there was no smile in his eyes: "Uncle, hello there."
"Um?"
Before the man could react, Guangyou, with a smile, quickly approached and threw a punch at the man's groin.
The moment the fist struck the man, Guangyou seemed to hear the sound of an egg shattering.
The man's eyes widened, his face turned extremely ugly, and his body subconsciously arched, which conveniently provided Guangyou with the opportunity for his next move.
With a bright smile still on his face, Guangyou reached out and grabbed the man's head, slamming it hard against his knees.
After throwing the man to the side, Guangyou bent down, picked up the man's pistol that had fallen to the ground, put it behind his back, and quickly removed the magazine from the pistol.
He put the gun and magazine into his pocket.
Then, Kōyū stopped smiling, walked over to the stunned Kazuha, and said, "Kazuha-neechan, everything is alright now, don't worry."
Not receiving a response from Kazuha, Kōyū assumed that Kazuha was worried about Hattori Heiji. While untying the ropes binding Kazuha's hands, he comforted her, "Kazuha-neechan, don't worry, Heiji-nii is fine. That lawyer should have been arrested by now."
When he started his operation, Ai should have already called the police. Even if Misari Ito hadn't been caught, she would have been just a grasshopper in autumn.
