Upon hearing this, Xiaolan put down the rag she was holding, quickly leaned closer to He Ye, and whispered in her ear, "Is it a confession?"
"No! Absolutely not! How could that be!" Kazuha denied it three times in a row, her tone very firm, but her increasingly flushed face betrayed her.
Her gaze unconsciously drifted towards Kyou and Ai, who were washing dishes nearby.
Watching the two interact, she took a deep breath and explained to Xiaolan, "It's like this, today in the attic..."

She nodded in sudden understanding and said, "I see."
“I wonder if Heiji has forgotten.” Kazuha sighed and said, “After being rescued, he hasn’t mentioned this matter again, as if it wasn’t something he said.”

Looking up and meeting Ran's eyes, Kazuha nodded seriously after a few seconds: "Alright, I'll go ask Heiji later what he wanted to say to me back then."
"Okay." Xiaolan replied earnestly, encouragingly, "Keep it up!"
"I will!" Kazuha said, but then immediately backed down, her tone softening again. "That's what I say, but I'm still a little hesitant."
After saying this, Kazuha suddenly felt her shoulders sag a little. She looked up in confusion and saw Ran with her hands on her shoulders.
He also said to her, "Kazuha, believe in yourself, you can definitely do it. Besides, you're just asking him what he wanted to say before, it's not like you said it, so there's nothing to worry about. Go ask him in a bit!"
Perhaps moved by Xiaolan's words, He Ye nodded vigorously after a moment of stunned silence and replied, "Yes!"
