Chapter 812 The Legend of the Ferris Wheel

While queuing, he noticed that a few people had just finished drinking the water they had bought earlier. Guangyou told Xiaoai and then left the queue to buy water.

While he was buying water, Guangyou took out his phone, reopened the webpage containing that content, and checked if he had remembered it correctly.

On the way back, Guangyou kept replaying the content he had just seen in his mind.

He has almost memorized it by now.

After screwing on the bottle cap, Guangyou crumpled the empty bag into a ball and stuffed it into his pocket.

"Kuangyou, thank you for buying us water." Kazuha and Ran turned around and smiled as they thanked Kuangyou.

"You're welcome." Guangyou gestured to the two of them with the bottled water in his hand and said, "I was thirsty too, so I was just helping out."

After thanking them, the two turned back to continue their conversation.

Seeing the two turn around, Guangyou recalled the content again.

...

Half an hour later, Guangyou and his group finally entered the Ferris wheel cabin.

Perhaps intentionally designed by the park, the Ferris wheel cabins are very small, only able to seat two adults or four children.

Or perhaps it's two adults and two children.

Although the group hadn't discussed who would share a cabin with whom beforehand, they all tacitly agreed to let Hattori Heiji share a cabin with Kazuha.

Ran shares a cockpit with Conan.

As for Guangyou...

That must be in the same cabin as Ai.

After closing the cockpit door, Kōyū turned around and sat down in his seat. He looked at Ai sitting opposite him and chuckled softly.

"What are you laughing at?" Ai asked, sitting in her seat with the cat plush toy next to her, looking at Kōyū.

"I just think this atmosphere is pretty good." Guangyou put the Shiba Inu plushie and water aside, and crossed his arms on his lap.

“Close this door, and the outside noise will be shut out. In this small space, it will just be the two of us.”

"So you want to..." Ai asked.

"I just want to sit here." After saying that, Guangyou moved the Shiba Inu plushie and water to the other end of the seat, and then patted the empty space.

Then, with a slight smile on his face, he said to Ai, "If it's alright, I'd like you to sit next to me."

No sooner had she finished speaking than Ai got up from her seat, sat down next to Kousuke, and said, "Is it okay now?"

"Not enough." Kōyū put his hand on Ai's shoulder, pulled her into his arms with a little force, and then said with a smile, "That's enough now."

"You..." Ai's words seemed to reveal helplessness, but she did not get up. She shook her head and rested her head on Kouyu's shoulder.

She whispered again, "I just can't do anything with you."

As she said this, Ai's lips curled up slightly, the curve of her lips reflecting her current mood.

"What's wrong with me?" Kōyū tilted his head, his smile fading, and said seriously to Ai, "I'm perfectly innocent."

"Then after we go down, will you continue like this?" Ai leaned on Kouyu's shoulder, and her smile became even more pronounced after hearing his words.

"No, thank you." Guangyou knew she was joking, but he was happy to play along. "It's perfectly fair, but there are some things we still need to be careful about."

"Heh~" Ai chuckled softly.

"What are you laughing at?" Kōyū asked after hearing Ai's laughter.

"I'm laughing at you..." Ai raised her head slightly and looked at Kousuke. Her icy blue eyes seemed to shimmer with a faint light under the sunlight.

"What are you laughing at me for?" Guangyou asked, a smile involuntarily creeping onto his face.

"Guess for yourself." After saying that, Ai leaned her head back on Kousuke's shoulder and turned her gaze to the scenery outside the window.

"What if I can't guess?" Guangyou already had the answer in his heart, it was all because of what he had just said.

There are no other reasons.

But he still asked.

"Then you can't guess it." Ai looked out the window, a smile playing on her lips, and said softly to Kouyu.

"Alright." Kōyū didn't ask any more questions. He simply put his hand, which had been on Ai's shoulder, on her head and gently ruffled her hair.

Then, Guangyou also turned his gaze to the window.

The sky was like a fine blue brocade, with fluffy white clouds floating in it, like patterns adorning the brocade.

The two quietly admired the scenery for a while, and with each breath, Kōyū could smell the delicate fragrance of Ai's hair.

Coming to his senses, Guangyou leaned close to the window and looked down.

At this point, the Ferris wheel had rotated to one-quarter of its length, and as the Ferris wheel continued to turn, the people on the ground gradually became smaller.

After waiting a while longer, Kōyū felt it was about time and asked Ai, "Ai, have you heard the legends about Ferris wheels?"

"No." Ai looked up at Kousuke and said cooperatively, "Tell me about it?"

"Legend has it that if two people who love each other kiss when the Ferris wheel reaches its highest point, they will stay together forever," Kousuke said, looking at Ai.

"So what do you think?" Ai asked, her eyes slightly narrowed, in a teasing tone. "Are you planning to follow the legend later?"

Before Kōyū could finish his sentence, Ai smiled and said, "If you want..."

Ai only said half of what she was going to say before stopping.

This makes it easy for people to make connections to the second half of the sentence.

And that was indeed the case. After hearing Ai's words, Kousuke started to imagine the whole story.

It's either "I don't mind if you want to!" or "I can reluctantly agree if you want to."
