Chapter 827 Parade of Floats

With Xiaolan mediating, the atmosphere quickly returned to normal.

At least on the surface, things have recovered.

"Hey, Kudo, you actually tattled on me." Hattori Heiji glanced at Kazuha, who was walking ahead and chatting with Ran, and couldn't help but complain.

"This doesn't seem like something you would do."

"Hehe..." Conan glanced at Heiji Hattori. Although he felt a little awkward inside, he didn't show it on the surface.

"Who told you to keep patting my head?"

Pat his head whenever you feel like it...

Doesn't he have any pride?

"I'll be more careful next time." Heiji Hattori couldn't quite assure Conan that he would be more mindful in the future, but what about the future...?

Who knows?

"Hmm." Conan nodded in satisfaction.

...

An hour later, the parade began.

During this hour, Guangyou and his entourage slowly walked along the road toward the first half of the parade.

The attractions along the roadside were either things I'd already tried or things I wasn't interested in.

So they bought some snacks by the roadside and ate them as they strolled around.

I did walk into a few gift shops of different sizes during my stroll, but I didn't buy anything; I just went in to take a look.

Heiji Hattori expressed some confusion about this.

If no one's going to buy anything, what's the point of going in?

This reminded him of when he went to Tokyo, Kazuha dragged him shopping, and after several hours, they only bought a hair clip.

"Women... are truly complex creatures."

As he left the gift shop, Hattori Heiji remarked with this thought.

Just then, Kwang-yu passed by him and heard his sigh.

He looked up at him, but Guangyou didn't explain.

Some things are better left for him to figure out on his own.

At this moment, Guangyou and his group were already standing in front of the fence, having found their spots.

Many people came to watch the float parade.

If Guangyou and his group hadn't arrived so early, they probably would have only been able to see the backs of other people's heads while everyone else was watching the parade.

Um...

Given the current situation, Guangyou won't even be able to see the back of other people's heads.

"Luckily we arrived early." Kazuha looked around and was immediately relieved that they hadn't wandered off and had been following the map.

"Mm." Xiaolan nodded in agreement.

If they had traveled around beforehand, they probably would have had to go to the latter half of the parade to see the floats.

Besides, it's getting late, and it's time for them to go back.

If you go to the second half, you'll have to wait about half an hour to see the parade.

By then, they would have already returned to the firm.

"There are so many people. I hope this parade will be exciting." Guangyou thought back to himself that he had never seen a parade as a tourist before.

I did participate once as an actor, but that was just for a mission.

Therefore, Kwang Yu still has certain expectations for this float parade.

After waiting a few more minutes, accompanied by music that suddenly started playing, floats of various shapes and sizes drove in from a distance.

Since it's for viewing, the floats move very slowly.

Leading the way were several staff members dressed in mascot costumes, holding props and striking poses as they walked.

The tourists were very cooperative, taking out their phones or cameras to record the scene.

A float featuring the park's mascot followed behind the group, with a staff member dressed as the mascot waving to the visitors.

Next to the mascot stood a young woman in a long dress, greeting tourists through a headset.

They mostly said things like "Good evening, everyone" and "Hope you all have fun."

The young lady's looks are only average, but with makeup, they can be considered above average, but her voice is very pleasant.

It is crisp and bright, like the sounds of a forest and a spring.

It might be a bit of an exaggeration, but it really does sound good.

Following this float was another group of staff members dressed as mascots, who served as interludes between floats and also performed shows for the tourists.

The first group was just posing for photos, a way to warm up the crowd.

When the second group arrived, the intro to the music had just ended, and the staff dressed in mascot costumes began to dance to the rhythm.

They instantly energized the atmosphere on the field.

Following them was a float shaped like an elephant, on which some staff members dressed as animal mascots could be seen.

Tourists took photos to commemorate the occasion.

"Heiji, why don't you take one too?" Kazuha looked away from the float and turned to Hattori Heiji, saying.

"Since we've come all the way to Tokyo, let's take some photos before we go back."

Kazuha was all smiles at this moment, and it was clear that she quite enjoyed the parade.

"Go ahead and take pictures." Heiji Hattori didn't seem to care much about the parade, and his expression was very calm when he refused.

"Just one picture!" Kazuha suddenly thought of a good reason and added, "After it's taken, I can show it to Aunt Jinghua."

“Then we definitely can’t film it.” Hattori Heiji’s lips twitched, and he decisively refused.

"Come on, let's take a picture!" Kazuha couldn't think of a better reason for the moment, so she grabbed Hattori Heiji's arm and pulled him to her side.

Before Hattori Heiji could react, Kazuha raised her phone, pointing the camera at the two of them and the floats passing behind them.

Then, Kazuha quickly pressed the shutter button.

Heiji Hattori pulled away from Kazuha's hand, glanced at Kazuha who was looking down at a photo, his mouth slightly open, and then paused.
