Really?
"Of course it's true." Guangyou wiped the plate dry with a towel, picked up the steamed buns from the steamer and placed them on the plate with chopsticks, and nodded in response.
"And I hope you're just faking it each time, instead of actually getting burned."
His tone was calm, yet it touched Ai's heart.
"Heh~" Ai didn't try to suppress her emotions, and a smile naturally appeared on her face.
"By the way, Ai, how does it taste? Is the meat filling cooked through?" Guangyou didn't delve too deeply into this topic, and asked Ai while placing the xiaolongbao on the plate.
"It tastes pretty good, and the minced meat is all cooked..."
As they were talking, Ai suddenly felt something was wrong.
After realizing what was happening, she looked at Guangyou and waited for him to put the plate down before asking, "Did you want me to taste the minced meat to see if it's cooked?"
“Bingo~” Kōyū snapped his fingers, nodded, and smiled at Ai, saying, “That’s right, that’s what I think too.”
"So that's what you were thinking." Ai deliberately feigned anger, stepped forward, and playfully pinched the soft flesh of Kousuke's waist.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!" Kōyū cried out in response.
"Serves him right." When Ai saw Kousuke's smiling face as he cried out in pain, she couldn't help but laugh along with him.
The two of them didn't take it seriously at first, but Guangyou asked that question on purpose to ease the tension.
Ai Haibara gave that answer on purpose in order to help Kousuke ease the tension.
After playing around for a while, Guangyou and Xiaoai each carried a plate, walked out of the kitchen, and placed the xiaolongbao on the table.
Uncle Mori didn't get back until very late last night, and based on what Mitsuyu knows about him, he definitely won't wake up anytime soon.
Even when he goes to bed at a normal time, Uncle Mori doesn't get up that early unless something happens or someone urges him.
Not to mention the situation now, where they come back very late.
Therefore, Guangyou didn't put Uncle Mori's portion on a plate, but instead specially packed it in an insulated box.
"I've been so busy all this time, I haven't even had a bite to eat yet." Guangyou complained deliberately as he put the plates back in the kitchen with Xiao Ai.
His words had two meanings.
The first meaning is to tell Ai that he has been busy since morning and is a little tired.
The second meaning is to tell Ai that he wants to eat xiaolongbao (soup dumplings).
If you only look at these two meanings, there's really nothing to it.
But if you look at it all together...
This can be integrated into a hint:
"Ai, I'm a little tired, can you feed me?"
Both of them are intelligent, so Kōyū isn't worried that Ai won't understand the hint.
But what if Ai really didn't understand, or what if she pretended not to understand?
There are methods.
One method is to directly say to Ai, "Ai, feed me."
The second method is to open his mouth in front of Ai while eating, making a gesture as if to say "you feed me".
Both methods are very straightforward.
Both require Guangyou to have a certain amount of shamelessness.
Perfectly, Guangyou has no shortage of shamelessness.
If shamelessness could be sold by weight, then Guangyou thinks he should be able to make it onto the world's richest list.
Of course, that's a joke.
He's not that thick-skinned.
"Thank you for your hard work." Ai said calmly, as if she hadn't understood the hint.
"Cough cough... My hands are a little sore from kneading the dough, I probably can't even hold chopsticks anymore." Guangyou let his arms hang down naturally and sighed.
This is also a method: deliberately exaggerating the situation to gain the other party's sympathy and thus achieve one's own goal.
Ai wanted to laugh at the way she was deliberately putting on that pose, but she didn't show it at all.
Of course she understood Guangyou's implication; he just wanted her to feed him.
She wouldn't disagree with such a small matter, but at least before eating, she wanted to tease Guangyou and make him perform in front of her for a while.
Just like now.
He deliberately pretended that his hand was sore, and then almost explicitly hinted to her, "My hand is sore, you can feed me."
Has he forgotten that just a few minutes ago, he was feeding her xiaolongbao with chopsticks?
He was perfectly fine just now, but suddenly he can't even use chopsticks.
Could it be because the xiaolongbao were served on a plate earlier?
No one would believe that reason.
Only Kwang-woo could pretend to have forgotten what happened just minutes before, and he could act it out so convincingly.
There's just no way to deal with him...
As she thought about it, a faint smile of happiness appeared on Ai's face, but she quickly suppressed it.
"Then go and rest for a while. There's still time; you can catch up on some sleep," Ai said, glancing at the clock on the wall.
"..." Guangyou didn't speak.
"Or you could take a hot shower," Ai said, pretending not to see Kousuke's expression of "not knowing what to say."
"It should be much better."
"I think we should forget about it, actually..."
Before Kōyū could finish speaking, Ai turned to look at him calmly and said, "Don't worry, there's enough time."
"Actually, I..."
During their conversation, the two went to the dining table.
Seeing that Ai looked like she hadn't understood the hint at all, Kōyū wasn't in a hurry. He planned to use both methods together later.
First, use Plan A: Just say to Ai, "Ai, feed me."
Then use Plan B: Get close to Ai and open your mouth.
