"Hey, hey..." Uncle Mori was driving and didn't notice anything unusual about the group, but he overheard the part about having the other boys take a picture with Ran.
"Although I don't know what you're talking about, if my daughter is going to be embarrassed because of that detective kid, then I'm going to turn back."
As Xiaolan's father, he wouldn't let his daughter embarrass herself because of that detective boy who hadn't been around for a long time.
"Dad..." Xiaolan looked at Uncle Mori in front of her and was suddenly moved.
"It doesn't matter..." Sonoko leaned close to Uncle Mori's ear, chuckled, and said, "There are also a lot of beautiful female college students who go there."
At this moment, Sonoko is like a demon tempting humans to sign a contract with her.
"A female college student with a good figure."
This simple sentence seemed to have the power to bewitch people; Uncle Mori's expression immediately changed after hearing it.
In the end, he could not resist the devil's temptation.
Although he only held on for a moment...
Or rather, he didn't even last a moment before being bewitched.
"A female college student with a good figure..." Uncle Mori muttered to himself as he quickly and efficiently shifted gears.
Then, Uncle Mori stepped on the gas and sped towards Karuizawa.
Seeing that she had achieved her goal, "Devil" Sonoko covered her mouth and chuckled twice before sitting back down in her seat.
The car was so small that everyone in the car heard what Sonoko had just said, even though she hadn't tried to lower her voice.
After she said there were female college students there, Uncle Mori sped up and drove towards Karuizawa.
Anyone with normal intelligence would know that Uncle Mori wanted to go to Karuizawa earlier because there were beautiful female college students there.
Seeing this, Xiaolan's lips twitched slightly. The emotion she felt earlier had long since dissipated, and she even wanted to say something.
"Please give me back the feeling of being moved just now."
"As expected of Uncle Mori." Kōyū glanced at Uncle Mori, then at Sonoko, and thought to himself, "As expected of Sonoko, she understands everything."
If Sonoko were to comment in the way a certain orange-skinned person from his memory would, it would be:
[Raises hand] Nobody.
[Shrug] More than me
【OK】Understands better
[??] Uncle Mori
“Sonoko is clearly a seasoned expert.” Kōyū looked at Sonoko and couldn’t help but sigh, “She understands the psychology of older men perfectly.”
"Sonoko!" Ran said, displeased, looking at Sonoko who was smirking. "Anyway, there's no way I'm going to wear that dress!"
Her attitude was firm, but in fact, Sonoko didn't intend for Ran to wear it; she just wanted to play a joke on Ran.
"Okay, actually I didn't mean for you to wear this dress," Sonoko explained with a smile. "I was just joking with you."
"It'd better be just a joke!" Ran glanced at the mini tennis skirt in Sonoko's hand, then quickly looked away, her cheeks slightly flushed.
"If you want to wear it, then you can wear it yourself!"
This tennis skirt is way too short; she's too embarrassed to wear it out in public.
"Relax, I was just kidding." Sonoko smiled and then asked, "By the way, Ran, aren't you really not going to make Shinichi jealous?"
"I don't think it's necessary," Xiaolan shook her head.
"I think it's really necessary!" Sonoko whispered to Ran. "Shinichi hasn't shown up for so long, aren't you worried that he might fall for another girl?"
"Shinichi, aren't you worried that Ran might fall for another boy?"
"Who wants him to like me!" Xiaolan retorted, blushing. "Who likes him!"
That's what they say, but anyone with eyes can see that Xiaolan is just shy and hasn't admitted it.
"Besides, Shinichi did text me too," Ran said softly, her face slightly flushed and a little embarrassed. "He's just been a bit busy."
"Huh? He texted you?" Sonoko didn't pay attention to Ran's reason for the second half of her sentence; she had heard it many times before.
What she cared more about was that Ran said Shinichi had sent her a text message.
"Hmm." Xiaolan pursed her lips, recalling the text message Shinichi sent her yesterday, and a faint upward curve appeared at the corner of her lips.
"What did Shinichi post?" Sonoko was sitting next to Ran and naturally saw the smile on her face, which ignited her inner gossip.
"It's nothing really." Xiaolan thought for a moment, took her phone out of her pocket, pulled up her text messages, and showed them to Yuanzi.
After reading the text message, Sonoko nodded and said, "Shinichi still has a conscience; he knows to care about you."
"He's just a bit busy and can't come back for the time being." Xiaolan read the text message again before putting her phone back in her pocket.
"I believe Shinichi isn't that kind of person."
Seeing Ran's expression, Sonoko chuckled, nudged Ran with her shoulder, and teased, "Ran, you still say you don't like him."
“That’s true!” Xiaolan replied, blushing.
"Hehe~" Sonoko just smiled and didn't say anything.
While the two were joking around, Kōyū glanced at Conan sitting in the passenger seat and noticed that the latter was looking at Ran with gentle eyes.
After noticing Kouyu's gaze, Conan quickly turned his head and looked ahead.
"This guy is really..." Guangyou shook his head and complained, "What's there to be embarrassed about? If you want to watch, just watch."
After venting his frustrations, Kōyū started a conversation with Ai.
