After letting everyone rest in the living room, Hiroto Akashi took Conan to find clothes.
"We're really lucky," Sonoko said, standing in the living room and looking around. "I didn't expect to run into someone I know here."
It's not easy to run into someone in this area, let alone someone you know.
“Yes,” Uncle Mori nodded in agreement, “I originally thought we’d have to go hungry tonight.”
"Now, not only is dinner sorted out, but if nothing unexpected happens, our sleeping arrangements for tonight are also taken care of."
"Luckily, I ran into someone I knew." Xiaolan breathed a sigh of relief.
While the group was chatting, Hiroto Akashi brought Conan, who had changed his clothes, back to the living room, carrying a home first-aid kit.
"Mr. Akashi, thank you so much for today." Uncle Mori thanked Akashi Hiroto again.
"It's alright," Hirohito Akashi replied with a smile, then said to Conan, "Little boy, sit down, let me treat the injury on your right wrist."
"Thank you, Uncle," Conan said in a slightly hoarse voice.
"What kind of accident happened to you just now? Can you tell me?" Hiroto Akashi opened the first-aid kit, took out bandages and ointment, and began to treat Conan's sprained right wrist.
"Besides that tennis court, there's nothing else fun around here. How did you end up here?"
For some reason, his house is located in a very remote area, with no tourist attractions or recreational facilities.
Normally, tourists who come for vacation rarely come to this area.
The people who frequent this area are mostly salespeople.
This is also the main reason why his father disliked salesmen.
"Because of the rain, we couldn't play tennis, so we decided to go fishing by the river..."
There was no concealment. When Hiroto Akashi was treating Conan's sprained right wrist, Uncle Mori told Hiroto Akashi everything.
However, when Uncle Mori mentioned "fishing his rented car out of the river," he paused and spoke rather vaguely.
But Hiroto Akashi had guessed some of it.
"Ha ha ha ha!"
After hearing what happened, Akashi Hiroto chuckled a few times and said, "He accidentally fell into the river while trying to fish out the car that had been swept away by the current..."
That's really interesting.
"This is no joke." Ran frowned as she looked at Conan, recalling the scene, and said, "It almost turned out to be a disaster."
"I'm so sorry," Hiroto Akashi said after apologizing. "But don't worry, it's just a common sprain, nothing serious."
At this moment, Hiroto Akashi treated Conan's sprained right wrist, saying, "After applying the ointment, use a bandage to immobilize your wrist..."
"As long as you don't move around too much, the sprain will heal quickly and won't leave any lasting effects."
"That's good." Xiaolan's brows relaxed, and she felt a little relieved.
"Cough cough cough..." Conan wanted to thank Akashi Hiroto, but suddenly felt a tickle in his throat, so he coughed a few times.
"By the way, little one, turn your head over here and open your mouth so I can see it," Hiroto Akashi said to Conan after hearing the cough.
"Ah..." Conan did as he was told, turning his head and opening his mouth towards Hiroto Akashi.
"Hmm... because my throat is red and swollen, my voice is a little hoarse," Akashi Hirohito said after observing the patient under the living room light.
"I advise you not to speak for a while, otherwise it might turn into acute pharyngitis."
"You might even lose your voice for a short time." Kōyū carried a bowl of steaming ginger soup, with Ai following behind him as the two walked out of the kitchen.
He noticed Conan's voice was a little hoarse in the forest and knew it was because his cold had gotten worse after falling into the river.
But at that time, there were no conditions, and there was nothing he could do.
While Conan went upstairs to change his clothes, he went to the kitchen to look for something.
Surprisingly, he actually found some ginger.
So, Kōyū made Conan a bowl of ginger soup to warm him up.
I also cooked a bowl for Ai, so she wouldn't catch a cold.
Carrying the ginger soup into the living room, and placing it on the central table, Kōyū said to Conan, "Drink the ginger soup when it cools down a bit."
"Hmm." Conan looked at the ginger soup on the table, feeling a warmth in his heart. He smiled and nodded in response.
"I think you look like a doctor," Sonoko said, bending down to look at Akashi Hiroto's skillful movements with some surprise.
“I’m not really a doctor,” Hiroto Akashi explained as he packed his medical kit. “I used to be a tennis player’s coach and health care provider.”
"I learned a lot during that time."
"By the way, kid, is the size okay?" Hiroto Akashi looked at Conan and asked with a smile, "Since these are all clothes I wore when I was a child, I don't know if they will fit you."
"Yes, that's perfect," Conan replied, sitting cross-legged at the table.
"Uncle, can we eat the curry in the kitchen?" Kōyū asked after Akashi Hiroto finished what he was doing.
"We haven't had dinner yet."
He noticed the pot of curry while he was making ginger soup.
Because there was a large quantity of curry in the pot, enough for several people, he took the initiative to ask Akashi Hiroto if it was okay to eat it.
If it was only enough for Hiroto Akashi and his father, then Mitsuyu wouldn't ask; instead, he would find some ingredients and borrow the kitchen to cook for himself.
