The drizzle continued throughout the night.
The morning sunlight streamed into the room through the gaps in the curtains, and a white line on the floor divided the room into two parts, one light and one dark.
At this moment, Uncle Mori and Conan were still asleep, while Kōyū had already opened his eyes.
Sitting in bed, Guangyou stretched comfortably.
He's usually already up and preparing breakfast by this time.
But since he's on vacation today, he plans to stay in bed a little longer.
Guangyou picked up his phone from beside the bedding, checked that there were no unread messages, then put the phone aside and lay down.
"I wonder if that girl is up yet." Guangyou put his hands behind his head, looked at the ceiling, and thought to himself.
A murder occurred in this house yesterday. If it were someone else, they might lie in bed all night, unable to sleep, or have nightmares.
However, this minor incident did not affect him.
He slept well last night and even dreamed about Ai.
I don't know if it's because he often thinks about that girl, or because of that bedtime photo.
Thinking of this, Kōyū reached to his side, picked up his phone, found the bedtime photo that Ai had sent him last night, and lay in bed looking at it.
After looking at them for a while, Guangyou took out some old photos and looked at them again.
The image of the photo shoot flashed through his mind, and a smile appeared on his face.
After looking through all the photos, Guangyou realized it was almost time, so he put away his phone and left his warm bed.
After opening the door to his room, Guangyou first washed up quickly, then went to the kitchen to see if there were any ingredients to prepare breakfast.
"Why do I feel like I'm at home here?" Guangyou joked as he placed the materials he had found on the table.
"It'll expire if we don't use it anyway, so we can't waste it. Wasting food is shameful..."
Guangyou quickly found a reason to use these materials.
They had some curry left over from last night, which they could use.
While he was preparing breakfast, Ai came into the kitchen.
"Have you washed up?" Kōyū turned around and looked at Ai, smiled at her, and said, "We'll be eating soon. If you haven't washed up, go wash up quickly."
"I've already washed up." Ai said as she walked to Kouyu's side, waited for him to put the breakfast on a plate, and then took the breakfast out.
"How did you sleep last night?" Guangyou turned on the tap, washed the oil stains off his hands, and asked with a smile, "Did you dream about me?"
Back in the kitchen, Ai immediately started tidying up, without even glancing at Kōyū. She answered as she tidied:
"I dreamt about it."
"Really?" Kōyū was pleasantly surprised. He leaned closer to Ai and asked, "What did you dream about?"
"I dreamt that you were performing a teacup-throwing act." Ai's composure didn't last long. When she looked up and saw Kousuke's expression upon hearing this, she couldn't help but chuckle.
"Throwing a teacup is quite something..." Kōyū imagined the scene and even added some plot details, such as him performing the teacup-throwing act for Ai.
That scene...
It was incredibly awkward.
Performing magic tricks, singing, and dancing is acceptable, but throwing teacups...
This is at most considered acrobatics, right?
"You really dreamt that I was performing the teacup-throwing act?" Kōyū was still a little incredulous. He dreamt that he was going on a date with Ai, but Ai dreamt that he was performing the teacup-throwing act?
The difference is quite large.
"Mm." Ai and Kousuke looked at each other and nodded calmly.
"Okay." Kōyū shook his head, having no choice but to believe him.
"And what about you?" Ai slowed down her movements, pretending to ask casually, and asked, "Did you dream about me?"
"I dreamt about it." Guangyou hadn't forgotten what had just happened. Even though he dreamt about going on a date with her, that's what he said.
"I dreamt that I was performing a teacup-throwing act, and you were standing next to me handing me the teacup..."
Upon hearing this answer, Ai paused in her tidying up. She looked up at Kōyū, a smile playing on her lips and in her eyes.
She stopped smiling and asked seriously, "Really?"
After staring into Ai's bright eyes for a moment, Kōyū chuckled twice and said, "It's fake."
"Did you dream about it?" Xiao Ai asked, then turned back to continue tidying up.
"I dreamt about it." This time, Kwang-woo wasn't joking. He said, "I dreamt last night that I went on a date with you."
"Where are you going on your date?" Ai asked, a slight smile playing on her lips, following up on Kousuke's words.
After recalling his dream from last night, Kwang-woo answered earnestly, "Where you are."
After she finished speaking, Ai's hand movements slowed down first, and then stopped completely.
She looked up at Guangyou, her icy blue eyes like a clear spring, a faint smile playing on her lips.
The distance between the two was enough for Guangyou to clearly see his reflection in the "spring".
Then, Ai heard Kōyū say, "Really, I forgot the location of the date, I forgot the surroundings, I forgot when the date was..."
"The only thing I can remember clearly is you, who have always been by my side."
That's true; he remembers dreaming last night about going on a date with Ai.
Location, time...
He can't remember any of these things.
If there's anything he remembers besides the characters, it's probably Ai's genuine smile during their date.
Speaking is an art.
If, when Ai asks, "Where are you going on a date?", the unfiltered answer is, "I forgot."
