Chapter 690 A Thief Who Can Eat a Lot

After exchanging only a few words, Chen Feng heard snoring coming from beside his pillow.

Chen Feng stared in shock at the sleeping Xia Yingying. What was going on today? How could she fall asleep before 10 o'clock? It was never possible for her to fall asleep before 11 o'clock before.

Her actions made Chen Feng feel sleepy. He put down his phone, hugged Xia Yingying, and fell asleep.

The next day, Xia Yingying ate the same thing as before, while Chen Feng, holding a bowl of sauerkraut soup, trembled with fear.

What's wrong with this girl? Why is she suddenly eating so voraciously?

Liu Ping didn't react much to this. If you like it, eat more. There are over 400 pounds of pig. You can't finish eating it in a month.

On the third day, Xia Yingying suddenly became sick of meat and wouldn't even look at it, let alone eat it.

"Hey, why aren't you eating? Don't you usually love this pork belly the most?" Chen Feng asked, putting a slice in his mouth.

"I don't want to eat anymore. I've probably had enough these past few days." Xia Yingying held her rice bowl and ate the few vegetables on the table.

"I want to eat stir-fried green vegetables, the kind that are all green," Xia Yingying suddenly blurted out.

"Eat up, I'll buy some for you tomorrow, the grocery store sells them," Chen Feng said, serving himself another bowl of rice.

And so, Xia Yingying ate stir-fried vegetables for seven days in a row, making Chen Feng's eyes gleam with envy.

"What are we having for dinner today? Stir-fried vegetables again?" Chen Feng couldn't help but ask.

"I'm not hungry. I'll just have some porridge. You can make whatever you want to eat," Xia Yingying said, shaking her head.

I don't have much of an appetite today, so I'll just treat it as a diet and eat whatever I feel like.

"Finally, I don't have to eat stir-fried vegetables anymore. I've eaten more vegetables these past few days than our chickens have eaten." Chen Feng felt like he had been granted a pardon. Today, he was going to stew big bones, the kind that's full of meat.

"Girl, you're not going to eat any vegetables. These big bones are delicious." Liu Ping couldn't help but advise Xia Yingying as she ate only porridge and pickled vegetables.

She now treats Xia Yingying completely like a girl, not like a daughter-in-law at all.

"I don't want to eat it." Xia Yingying looked at the big bone and pouted slightly.

I used to love eating this, but who knows what's wrong with me now.

I think congee and pickled vegetables are quite delicious and healthy, but pork bones are too greasy.

"You really want to eat? Otherwise, you'll just take a bite and not touch it at all?" Chen Feng asked, somewhat puzzled.

"I don't really feel like eating." Xia Yingying slurped up a mouthful of porridge, which smelled delicious.

"If you don't like it, take the rest of the pigs out of the refrigerator and see if they can still live. I bet the pigs feel they've been wronged to die."

"If I'd known you'd only be interesting for three days, I would have just stabbed one off, instead of killing you outright," Chen Feng laughed.

Xia Yingying was amused and smiled, holding the bowl of porridge.

On the third day of eating porridge, Xia Yingying simply stopped wanting to eat it altogether.

The family of four sat at the table eating, with fruit laid out in front of Xia Yingying.

Strawberries, watermelons, durians, mangoes, and all sorts of other fruits.

"These strawberries are so sweet, do you want to try some?" Xia Yingying ate a strawberry with a happy expression, then picked up another and asked Chen Feng.

"I... I do eat a lot of fruit, but strawberries with sausage, that sounds a bit strange, doesn't it?" Chen Feng asked tentatively.

"It seems a bit strange, so you can eat it later." Xia Yingying peeled open a mango and ate it directly with a knife.

Liu Ping and Chen Jianguo exchanged a glance, both seeing the puzzle in each other's eyes.

What's wrong with this child lately? He seems a bit off.

"It's probably because your body is lacking this element. It's okay, just eat whatever you want. You'll eventually get tired of it," Chen Jianguo tried to explain.

"I don't know what's wrong with me, but I've been craving fruit lately, and everything tastes delicious."

Xia Yingying ate all the fruit on the table, and finally picked up an apple and started eating it.

In the evening, Xia Yingying still didn't eat a single grain of rice, only fruit.

Anyway, as long as she eats, Chen Feng isn't too worried; it doesn't matter what she eats.

The two went to sleep as usual, and before they knew it, Chen Feng vaguely heard a slurping sound and smelled instant noodles.

Chen Feng sat up in a daze and looked up to see Xia Yingying eating with a small nightlight on, holding chopsticks in one hand and smoothing her hair with the other.

She had just taken a sip of soup when, as if by telepathy, she looked up and saw Chen Feng sitting up on his side, staring at her with his eyes half-closed.

"Hehe...hehehe." Xia Yingying laughed shyly.

"What's going on, sis? Why are you eating instant noodles in the middle of the night? What time is it?" Chen Feng groggily picked up his phone and glanced at it.

"I went there at 3:30 in the morning. Aren't you sleepy?" Chen Feng asked, quite puzzled.

“I was hungry. I actually woke up at two o’clock, but the longer I lay down, the less I could fall back asleep, and the more I thought about it, the cravings became, so I went downstairs and cooked a bowl of noodles.”

"It was just a bit cold downstairs, so I came upstairs to eat. Did I disturb you?" Xia Yingying pinched her ear apologetically.

"Whether it's noisy or not doesn't matter, the important thing is that it's almost breakfast time in two hours." Chen Feng sat on the edge of the bed, yawned, and lit a cigarette.

"But I'm hungry," Xia Yingying said, sounding a little aggrieved.

"Okay, okay, eat quickly if you're hungry." Chen Feng walked over and patted her head.

"Um, would you like some?" Xia Yingying asked him, holding up her chopsticks.

"I'm not coming any later, you eat." Chen Feng sat down next to her and watched her eat.

But when Chen Feng took a closer look, he realized that the portion of noodles she was making seemed a bit too large.

"How many bags of flour do you have? Two bags?" Chen Feng asked curiously.

"Not only two bags, I also added two eggs!" Xia Yingying said proudly.

"Wow, I couldn't eat this much even if I wasn't hungry," Chen Feng exclaimed in shock.

Then Chen Feng watched as Xia Yingying finished the whole bowl of noodles, and even drank half a bowl of soup.

"I'm full. I'm going to rinse my mouth and go to bed." Xia Yingying stood up and stretched.

"It's almost four o'clock, you don't actually need to sleep anymore." Chen Feng looked at the gradually whitening sky outside the window.

"No, I'm sleepy." Xia Yingying finished rinsing her mouth and came back, throwing herself into Chen Feng's arms.

"Sleep with me a little longer, okay?" Xia Yingying pleaded.

"I'm sleepy too, let's go." Chen Feng picked up Xia Yingying, and the two of them got into bed together.

The next morning, the two got up. Chen Feng sat at the table to eat, while Liu Ping asked Xia Yingying a question.

"Girl, would you like to have something to eat, or would you like to continue eating fruit?"

"I'm actually not hungry," Xia Yingying said with a smile.

"How can I not be hungry? You ate so little yesterday," Liu Ping said, disbelieving.

"She ate two packets of instant noodles and two eggs at four in the morning. I feel full just hearing about it, let alone what she ate," Chen Feng said ruthlessly.

Xia Yingying smiled but didn't say anything.

"Oh my god, you ate so much! I'll have to buy you some snacks next time. It's not right to get up in the middle of the night to cook noodles," Liu Ping said worriedly.
