In no time, they dug a pit several meters deep. However, this time Chen Jianguo couldn't expand it as much as before, and could only expand it slightly before stopping.

And so, the two of them started dumping dirt on each other's buttocks, and the dirt piled up higher and higher until Li Chunlai could even sit on the pile of dirt.
"This work is so messy, my feet are covered in it," Huang Fei said, patting his shoes.
"Here's your foot back, look at all this stuff in my shoe." Li Chunlai shifted uncomfortably back and forth.
Huang Fei thrust the shovel in again, and felt it hit something. He frowned and thrust it in again with force.
"Hmm, there seems to be something down there, and it's not small." Huang Fei said, about to pry the thing out.
"Probably made of stones and tiles," Li Chunlai said casually, shoveling up a spadeful of soil and letting it sit for a moment.
Huang Fei shook the rock a few times and dug it out. When he dug it out, he blinked subconsciously, not daring to believe it at that moment.
"What is this thing?" Huang Fei asked Li Chunlai.
"Is this... copper or gold?" Li Chunlai held the object and wiped it, not sure at all.
The main problem is that this thing is too big; they've never seen such a large piece of gold before.
"Is it really gold?" Huang Fei scratched his head, puzzled, and rubbed the gold vigorously.
"Damn, it really seems to be true. How come it's so heavy? Copper doesn't have this density, does it?" Li Chunlai said, weighing it in his hand with a look of shock.
"Holy crap, holy crap, Fengzi, look at this! If it's gold, we're rich! Such a big piece of gold!" Huang Fei exclaimed as he held the gold in his arms.

Going down was easy, but going up was not so easy, especially since they were carrying tools and gold.

Chen Feng knew perfectly well whether it was gold or not; that's exactly what he came for.
"Holy crap, such a huge piece of gold! What is this? A gold brick? A gold nugget? How much is this worth?" Li Chunlai's eyes widened instantly, and he gasped.
"Haha, it must be worth at least seven or eight hundred thousand. Where's the brush? Quick, give it to me, I want to brush properly." Lin Nian reached out to them for the brush.
Once he got the brush in his hand, Lin Nian squatted down and scrubbed the gold hard. In no time, he had cleaned the gold thoroughly, and the dark yellow gold was dazzling in the sun.
"Come, come, quickly weigh this piece of gold." Li Chunlai placed the scale on the ground and put the gold on it.
The scale was found inside the house. Li Chunlai replaced the batteries and wanted to see if it would work.
"Uh... yeah?!" Li Chunlai's eyes lit up with surprise when he saw the number.
"Holy crap, let me do the math. Subtracting the loss and multiplying by 400, if this scale is correct, then this piece of gold... is actually worth over 1.2 million?!?"
Li Chunlai was stunned when he calculated the number; what does 1.2 million even mean?
"One million two hundred thousand? Holy crap, this is equivalent to several days' income for us!" Huang Fei said, looking at the gold.
"This pit was totally worth it! If there's more down there, I'll dig up the whole ground and tear down the house!" Li Chunlai shouted energetically, carrying a hammer drill.
"That's all, buddy, calm down. You're lucky to have even one piece. How many more do you want?" Chen Feng quickly grabbed him.
"Damn, I want to eat hot pot, the kind with three plates of tripe that you can eat until you're full!" Huang Fei said excitedly to Chen Feng, holding his car keys.
Such a great harvest, shouldn't we celebrate?
And there's still room here, even though it's a bit dusty, it's okay.
After all, the prefab house is too small; five people can't sit together and have a hot pot meal.
And it's windy today, so it looks like I won't be able to cook.
"Damn it, why bother coming back? Let's just drive to a restaurant, eat, and then come back!"

Li Chunlai couldn't contain his excitement as he watched his car get closer and closer.
"That's awesome! If every piece of gold were this big, that would be 1.2 million!" Huang Fei's eyes lit up.
