When he got back into the car, the overwhelming smell of stinky feet, sweat, and various other odors almost made him trip and fall.
"I'm going! Who among you has such smelly feet? Aren't you afraid of getting poisoned? Hurry up and open the window!" Yin Xing pinched his nose as he got into the car and opened the window.
Another companion boarded the bus and nearly vomited from the stench. Covering his mouth, he said in disgust, "I'm going to get it. Someone check my feet, is it fermented?"
I have to say, this thing is amazing. If you stay inside it the whole time, it doesn't feel that uncomfortable.
But if you come out and then try to go back, you can't go back at all.
Some of the companions were woken up and opened their eyes groggily.
"What's all the noise about? I can't smell anything!"
"I can't smell it yet. If I don't open the window, you'll all be suffocated by the fumes. This is even more toxic than gas." Yin Xing found a spot by the window and stuck his head out.
Some people were woken up by them and couldn't help but get off the bus to pee. When they left, they thought they were just exaggerating and that it wasn't as scary as they made it out to be.
When I came back, I almost couldn't get in; everyone was covering their noses.
"My God, who is it? Maybe I should wash my feet tonight. How come I didn't notice this last night?"
"I can't go in anymore. I'll stay outside. Whoever wants to come in can come in."
Zheng Ping was also woken up by them. He hugged his shoulders and didn't even open his eyes. He mumbled something in a daze.
“You guys probably caused trouble. Last night you were farting, grinding your teeth, and snoring. I woke up in the middle of the night for some reason. I guess it was you guys making noise.”
"I'm the only one who sleeps soundly and doesn't move at all."
Hearing this, Chen Feng, who was already incredibly sleepy, still forced open his mouth and cursed in utter exasperation, "Go to hell! There's not a single good person among them, and they're all just crying wolf..."
This sound made everyone in the car laugh, and even Zheng Ping himself couldn't help but laugh.
"Hahaha."
"I'm so happy! Chen Feng is right."
"What's wrong? Am I a restless sleeper?" Zheng Ping asked with a smile and curiosity.
"I don't want to talk." Chen Feng had no intention of paying him any attention.
He absolutely has to find someone to switch seats with tonight, otherwise who can stand being taken advantage of in the middle of the night?
Half an hour later, Chen Feng woke up with dark circles under his eyes, grabbed his things, and got out of the car.
The morning was cool, a little chilly, but it was fine with a jacket on. The main thing was that once you breathed in the fresh air, you really couldn't go back to the car.
Everyone gathered under the car to eat. No one would light a fire to cook anything in the morning; they just did whatever was convenient.
After finishing their meal, everyone got into the car, and the air inside became much more comfortable.
Huang Fei led everyone to a different location, since the previous location had already been explored, and exploring it again would yield much less.
"This is fine, I'll take a look," Chen Feng said, looking around.
I didn't have any premonition; I just found it pleasing to the eye.
No one had any objections; they just wanted to go somewhere else.
"Okay, let's stop here." Huang Fei parked the car and opened the door.
Everyone got off the car one after another, carrying their belongings, and Huang Fei followed suit.
It's so boring being alone on the bus; I'd be willing to earn an extra fifty yuan.
Chen Feng took out a shovel from his bag and clipped it to the side of his backpack, ready to begin his money-collecting adventure for the day.
"Hey Fengzi, why is your backpack different from ours? Can you clip your shovel to the side?"
Zheng Ping noticed Chen Feng's movements and then realized that Chen Feng's backpack was different from theirs, which surprised him greatly.
When Zheng Ping said this, the others also curiously gathered around, and when they saw the side of Chen Feng's backpack carefully, they all exclaimed in amazement.
"Wow, this design is great! This way, I don't have to keep holding the shovel in my hand or constantly rummaging through my bag."
"Awesome, Fengzi is really quick-witted. He sewed one up himself when there was no room left on the bag."
"Damn, Fengzi, you're so inconsiderate. Why didn't you tell us about something so convenient?"
Chen Feng was dumbfounded by the surprised looks on everyone's faces. He had thought that these people had already thought of doing this, but were just too lazy to do it.
He didn't expect to discover today that they weren't too lazy to do it, but simply hadn't thought of it at all.
Chen Feng slapped his forehead speechlessly, realizing he had overestimated their intelligence.
"I thought you all already knew, but just didn't want to bother. So you didn't realize how inconvenient it is to carry a shovel around in your bag?"
Upon hearing this, Yin Xing immediately waved his hand and said matter-of-factly, "Who would have thought? Although I also found it a bit difficult, I thought all gold prospectors did it this way. I never imagined you could do it this way. I'll sew one at home too. This is so convenient."
"It's really convenient. I used to put the shovel in my pants pocket. I even found a pair of ripped pants and made a hole in the pocket so that I could keep the shovel in place. If I had known that it could be done this way, I would never have bothered with my pants."
"Fengzi, do you have any other tricks up your sleeve? Teach us more." Someone looked at Chen Feng expectantly.
No wonder Chen Feng always gets so much out of things; he really uses his brain, unlike them who are so rigid and just use what they learned without ever trying to improve it.
"That's all. I'll let you know if I find anything good later," Chen Feng said with a shrug.
Everyone felt a little disappointed upon hearing this, but with Chen Feng around, they felt more at ease. Having such a smart person as a teammate made things much easier.
The group dispersed in different directions. Before leaving, Zheng Ping reminded everyone not to go too far and to come back on time that night, as Yin Xing had already served as a cautionary tale.
With these examples, everyone became more cautious and would never take the risk of going too far.
Once bitten, twice shy; Yin Xing was now extremely wary of ropes. He would absolutely not leave the area within a kilometer of the van today, as that area was large enough for him to explore.
Everyone carried their tools and walked in the directions they had chosen. Chen Feng, carrying the detector, also walked away into the distance.
Ten minutes later, one of the group got the first win, and surprisingly it wasn't Chen Feng, but Huang Fei.
Too lazy to walk far, he simply leaned out from beside the car, stood still, and randomly scanned left and right with the detector. After scanning one circle, he would take a step forward and continue scanning.
Only by seeing their detection methods can one understand just how efficient Chen Feng is.
Compared to Chen Feng, their efficiency is worlds apart. Chen Feng doesn't need to explore slowly at all; he can just keep walking forward. Half a minute of Chen Feng's walking time is enough for them to explore for half a day.
"Ooh-woo~"
Upon hearing the sound of the detector, Huang Fei was overjoyed, and his morning drowsiness vanished instantly.
He never expected that he would find goods after only exploring for a short while.
He was quite excited, picked up the shovel, squatted down, and began shoveling soil one shovelful at a time, hoping that this would be the first piece of gold in his life.
