Chapter 106 Zheng Ping fainted

You can eat anytime, but moments like this, where you can get a lot of gold, don't come around often.

If Chen Feng were to lose all his luck because of eating, he wouldn't even be able to cry properly.

And so, Chen Feng kept panning for gold without stopping, only stopping to drink water.

Perhaps it was also because of the impact of Lian Jin that he didn't feel very hungry.

It wasn't until almost 3 p.m. that Chen Feng had panned for several more gold nuggets, much to his own surprise, a look of disbelief on his face.

Is it really that outrageous, with gold everywhere all day?

He just calculated that the gold he found was worth a total of over six thousand, and it's only three o'clock.

If things continue like this, breaking 10,000 today is a sure thing.

Chen Feng carried the detector and walked forward with a smug look on his face.

The terrain here is uneven, and ahead is a large set of steps, with an estimated difference of about 20 centimeters between the top and bottom. Chen Feng plans to go up the steps and continue walking forward.

Just as he stepped onto the stairs, before he could even put his other foot on, he heard a system notification.

"Oh my, they still have stock here."

Chen Feng pulled his foot back, looked around, and roughly determined the location.

Then he picked up the detector and started probing.

However, this place is uneven and difficult to explore. When exploring the left side, Chen Feng is below, but when exploring the right side, Chen Feng has to go up.

Especially when probing the middle, Chen Feng had to keep one foot down and the other up, and had to straddle the edge to probe.

Chen Feng kept going up and down, making the investigation very awkward.

When only a third of the terrain remained, Chen Feng suddenly froze, squinting as he looked at the landscape.

If I turn sideways and first reach up, then down, does that mean I don't have to keep running up and down like that...?

Having figured this out, Chen Feng felt a little annoyed that he hadn't thought of it sooner.

It must be because it's too hot that my reactions have become sluggish; it's definitely not because I'm stupid.

Yes, that's right, that's exactly it!

After comforting himself, Chen Feng continued probing back and forth. Since there was only a little bit left, Chen Feng was too lazy to change his method.

Soon, when Chen Feng reached the junction of the upper and lower steps, the detector hit the step and sounded.

"Ooh-woo~"

Chen Feng laid the detector down, squatted down, held onto the steps with his right hand, took out a shovel with his left hand, and started digging at the junction.

They dug through the soil shovel by shovel, about twenty shovelfuls in total, but the detector still didn't go off.

The pit in front of him was already quite deep, so Chen Feng pulled the detector over with some unease and tested it.

As soon as it was pulled over, the detector sounded, proving that the goods were still underneath.

Hearing the sound, Chen Feng felt relieved and continued digging.

After digging with more than twenty shovels, Chen Feng's left hand was starting to ache, but the detector still didn't go off.

"My hair?"

Unconvinced, Chen Feng pulled the detector over again. As soon as it arrived, the detector went off in the same manner, leaving Chen Feng completely bewildered.

"So deep?"

Seeing this, Chen Feng couldn't help but mutter to himself.

However, the deeper you go, the bigger the cargo becomes, which isn't necessarily a bad thing; it just means you have to put in a little more effort.

And so, Chen Feng continued digging, another twenty or so shovelfuls. The pit was quite deep; Chen Feng could fit half an arm inside.

"What the hell is going on?"

Chen Feng tossed the shovel aside, his eyes full of questions. This was the first time he had encountered such a situation. The key was that the pit looked to be well over thirty centimeters deep, so why hadn't the goods come out yet?

Didn't they say the system can only recognize goods with a depth of 30 centimeters? Are there any freebies?

He pulled the detector over again, and it still emitted the familiar sound, which completely confused Chen Feng this time.

"Could it be that I dug the wrong way?"

Chen Feng said, puzzled.

He then tried inserting the detector directly into the pit. The detector still made a sound, but this time Chen Feng noticed a subtle difference.

The sound seems a little low...

Chen Feng's thoughts raced through his mind. He looked at the steps and suddenly remembered something. He stood up and placed the detector directly on the steps.

The detector continued to make noise, and Chen Feng's mouth gaped open instantly as he immediately understood what was going on.

He was so regretful that he wanted to punch himself twice, wondering why it had taken him so long to realize what was going on.

This thing isn't underground at all; it's inside the steps. I was misled by my preconceived notions, thinking that the detector sounded at the boundary because it was below the sound.

Everyone forgot that the goods could be hidden in the steps; in fact, the goods were on the side.

Having figured this out, Chen Feng dug directly into the steps with a shovel.

After digging a few times, Chen Feng saw something embedded in the steps. He looked down and his mouth instantly stretched into a wide grin.

He reached out and pulled the item out. The item rolled into the pit Chen Feng had dug below. Chen Feng picked it up, and his laughter echoed throughout the area.

"Oh ho, oh ho, oh ho, wahahahahahaha!"

Chen Feng looked at the item and was incredibly excited, overjoyed.

Because that piece had a dark yellow luster and was larger than the ones we found today, it couldn't be called a gold nugget; it was a gold ingot.

Chen Feng picked it up in his hand and estimated that it weighed between sixteen and twenty grams.

After mentally calculating the value of the item to around five thousand, Chen Feng couldn't help but laugh even louder.

All these goods combined today have already exceeded 10,000, even 11,000!

This is the most Chen Feng has ever found, breaking the five-figure mark for the first time.

"Ha ha ha ha!"

Chen Feng held the gold in his hand, grinning and revealing a set of big white teeth.

He couldn't wait to put the gold nuggets into the bottle. Looking at the bottle that was more than half full of gold, Chen Feng felt a great sense of accomplishment. He shook the bottle back and forth with his hand, feeling extremely satisfied.

In the past, a bottle could be filled with silver; when will it be possible to fill a bottle with gold?

What does this gold mean? Is it money?

Of course not, which means that Chen Feng's car has already been partially transported.

He didn't know how much the car would cost, but he figured that spending another two days browsing would definitely be enough.

If I'm not too unlucky tomorrow, finding a couple of car doors shouldn't be a problem, haha.

Chen Feng put the bottle in his pocket, picked up the detector, and left satisfied.

It's only 3 o'clock, and there's still plenty of time until 7 pm. Even if Chen Feng goes back an hour early, there are still 3 hours left.

Three hours should be enough. If we're lucky today, we should be able to find a few more tires, and maybe even a few spare tires.

Chen Feng walked forward comfortably, pondering which car to buy later. After walking for about ten minutes, he actually saw a figure.

Upon closer inspection, it was Zheng Ping squatting on the ground, wiping away dirt. Zheng Ping noticed him at that moment and subconsciously looked up.
