"As long as the surgery is done, don't worry about the money. If you need more, just tell me, I have some more," Chen Feng said to Lin Nian.
"Yes." Lin Nian nodded vigorously. He would feel half at ease once his grandfather had the surgery.
"Let's go, pack your things, I'll go back with you."
"You might need to give those people directions to that excavator. Tell them where it is. I'll return it when I have time in the next day or two. Otherwise, it's just a waste of over a thousand yuan a day to leave it running," Chen Feng told Xia Yingying.
"Okay." Xia Yingying nodded and stood up to see them off.
Chen Feng and Lin Nian got back into the car. Chen Feng started the car and was about to drive home when Lin Nian stopped him.
"Brother, wait a minute, I'll make a call and ask Dafei and the others what's going on," Lin Nian said, shaking his head and taking out his phone.
"Why are you still asking them? I'll just take you back. Your grandfather is seriously ill, and I have to go back to see him too." Chen Feng ignored him and started driving out of the yard.
"Brother, listen to me."
Lin Nian has now calmed down and taken a deep breath.
"We don't know my grandfather's condition yet, but the surgery has already been performed."
“I’ll go back by myself first. If his surgery is successful, then everyone will be happy. You can come back to see him whenever you want. It won’t make a difference if you stay a few days.”
"But if it really happens... it won't be too late for you to rush back then."
"Brother, the auction is about to start. You should go and keep an eye on it. That's no small amount of money; it's several million."
"We're unfamiliar with this place. If we don't keep an eye on things, what if something unexpected happens?"
“If you come back with me, we definitely won’t have enough time, and you’ll miss the boat.”

Lin Nian earnestly advised him.
"Sigh, you should ask Dafei what's going on first." Chen Feng sighed as he gripped the steering wheel.
Lin Nian's words made sense. They were unfamiliar with the area and needed to keep an eye on things. Besides, the hospital was full of all sorts of people, and the truck was carrying millions of dollars worth of goods while he and Lin Nian were running around everywhere.
No one can rest easy about it.
"Brother Fei, what are you doing?" Lin Nian asked.
"I'm having tea and taking a break. What's wrong?" Huang Fei asked, lighting a cigarette.
When are you planning to go home?
"We'll probably leave in the next couple of days. We still have some food left in the car, so we'll eat it and then we'll leave."
"Don't even mention it, I'm exhausted these days, this guy works every day." Huang Fei waved his hand as he mentioned it, even though Lin Nian couldn't see him.
Upon hearing this, Zheng Ping added insult to injury with a look of utter disdain.
"Dude, you lie down all afternoon every day, how can you be so tired you'll pee your pants?"
"Bullshit, I was just taking a break after I peed my pants from exhaustion," Huang Fei retorted, not to be outdone.
"I see you do nothing but pee a lot, always spitting out for no reason," Zheng Ping sneered.
Normally, Lin Nian would be delighted to hear this and would playfully tease them for a while, but he wasn't in the mood today.
“My grandfather is in the hospital, and I want to go home. If you are planning to leave today, I will come to you and ask for a ride.”
"If you're not leaving, then I'll go buy train tickets," Lin Nian said.
"Huh? What happened? What's wrong with your grandpa?" Huang Fei immediately dropped his playful demeanor and frowned as he asked.
Upon hearing this, everyone immediately looked over; something had happened.
Lin Nian briefly explained to Huang Fei, who had the call on speakerphone, so everyone heard it.
"I understand. We'll discuss it later." Huang Fei hung up the phone and looked at everyone.
"How so?"
"Hey, let's go back, let's go back. I've wanted to go back for a while now, but we have so little food left in the car, it feels like such a waste if we can't finish it all," someone suggested.

To be honest, if they had just arrived at the abandoned mine in the small village, they definitely wouldn't have been able to go back, since the round-trip fare would have been very expensive. So, Lin Nian would have had to take the train.
Unless Lin Nian can't buy train tickets, they have to go back no matter how expensive the travel expenses are, because human life is more important.
But since they'd wanted to go back anyway, they figured they might as well go together.
Huang Fei called Lin Nian, who understood after listening. Chen Feng then drove Lin Nian to the abandoned mine in the small village.

"How is it? Is it serious?" A group of people stepped forward to ask.
"I don't know yet, all I know is that he went into surgery." Lin Nian shook his head softly.
"Okay, no problem. If you need money, just tell us. We'll all chip in, so you won't have to worry about the medical expenses." Zheng Ping and the others had already finished discussing it.
If Lin Nianqian really doesn't have enough money, then they'll chip in some to help him get through this difficult time.

"Do you have enough food and water in your car?" Chen Feng asked. He had plenty in his car, and if they didn't have enough, he would throw some to them.
"We have water and food, so don't worry," Huang Fei said.
"What about drinks? Do you have any drinks?" Chen Feng asked again.
Huang Fei was now in an awkward situation; they had already finished all the drinks they bought, so there were no more left.
"Damn, it's nothing." Chen Feng had already guessed they didn't have any, so he went back to his car, grabbed two boxes, and handed them to them.
"Is there anything else you want to eat? Just get it from me. Dafei, you didn't get any rest since you had to go home temporarily. Drive carefully. Go find whatever you want to eat yourself," Chen Feng gestured.
"Yeah, don't worry, it's nothing. I even took a nap this afternoon." Huang Fei grinned and got some snacks from Chen Feng's car.
