Chapter 38: Don’t Look at the Force, Look at the Caliber

After saying that, he turned around and walked downstairs. A group of younger brothers followed him and followed his pace and evacuated the building.

After getting in the car, Qi Yang leaned one hand on the door, looked out, and then spoke in a calm tone:

"Aaron, just this once."

Aaron, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was already pale at this time, and hurriedly explained:

"I understand, boss. I underestimated the enemy this time. I didn't expect such a skinny girl to shoot and kill without even blinking."

Hearing him say this, Qi Yang sneered:

"It's the end of the world now. How can anyone who dares to live alone with a pet be simple?"

He Xiaobei was having a headache. One of the two communities she had chosen was occupied by a large group of people. Since there were commercial houses below, the people in the community had frozen all the entrances to the community.

The other community was too big. After observing it with a telescope, she found that there were still people living there, which made her very confused.

If she goes in to investigate, she will meet the original residents. Even if she moves in, she won't feel at peace.

Finally, she gritted her teeth and left, going to a shopping mall where she had spent the night before. It was a 7-story building, and she went to the corner of the 6th floor and took out the RV.

After getting in the car, she still cried and complained to Lightning:

"Woo woo woo Lightning we're homeless."

Seeing that He Xiaobei was acting like a drama queen again, Lightning shook his head and kept his distance from her.

A man and a cat lived in the car for a few days in misery. Lightning didn't feel uncomfortable at all. He stayed in the bedroom and didn't go out.

But He Xiaobei couldn't stand it anymore. Occasionally, during the day, someone would come in to search for supplies, so she would put the car into the space and observe from outside by herself.

She waited until everyone left before taking the car out. Even on New Year's Day, she was outside in the cold wind for a long time.

After a few days of tossing and turning, her anger was finally maxed out. She thought about it for a long time in the car, and finally gritted her teeth:

"The most dangerous place is the safest place. Let's go back."

So he returned to Shengfeng International with Lightning. After a day of observation in the car, he found that there was really no one in Shengfeng International now. Even the group of people who had previously occupied Building 4 had moved away.

So after dark, under the cover of night, she sneaked back to the 31st floor like lightning, aiming to take everyone by surprise.

The body of the woman who had been lying on the ground had disappeared, leaving behind only a shocking pool of frozen blood!

The two men lay there straight, their bodies had long been corroded by the severe cold and covered with a thick layer of white frost, like two ice sculptures.

Her eyelids twitched as she looked at the corpse on the ground. In the end times, there was still someone who came to collect the body for her. This person was indeed not a simple person, and this proved that there was someone behind her.

She must be vigilant at all times to prevent malicious retaliation from others.

This kind of life of fear and anxiety makes people feel depressed and unhappy.

After all, how can you guard against thieves for a thousand days?

Thinking of this, He Xiaobei felt a little toothache.

"Next time I see them, I'll just follow the clues and kill them all to avoid being remembered."

After cursing, she looked at the body on the ground that was frozen into an ice stick and was stunned for a while. She still did not put the body into the space.

Instead, she turned around and retreated to the 30th floor. Too many people had died on the 31st floor, and she didn't want to live there any longer. She must have been so unlucky now because she had been contaminated by bad luck.

So He Xiaobei moved back in on the 30th floor. She had previously put a privacy film on the glass on this floor, so the little light from the heater would not be noticed by anyone.

Even if someone outside breaks down the wall and comes in, she can just hide in the space for a few days before coming out. She has been in the space for a full 18 days now.

Thinking of this, she slept more peacefully. She hadn't slept so soundly for a long time after tossing and turning outside for days. Even with Lightning watching over her, she was afraid that an accident would come to her without any buffer.

It was different in the house. Even if there was danger, there were two doors blocking the way, which gave her enough time to react, arm herself and perceive.

So she stayed in bed for three days before entering the space to work.

The two trees in the space yard still only bloom but do not bear fruit. The roses have grown about ten centimeters taller, and the fruits planted before have also grown a lot taller.

She looked at the thriving scene around her with a satisfied smile on her face. The smile lasted until she entered the breeding shed and then stopped abruptly. The rabbits had grown a lot bigger.

Because the cages that can be found are relatively small, the flesh on some rabbits' bodies seems to be forcibly embedded in the cages, so that their originally soft and smooth fur is squeezed and has wrinkles.

She couldn't bring herself to kill them, so she had to pick them up one by one to check both male and female rabbits. Fortunately, there were only two female rabbits among the nine, so that made it easy.

I stuffed the two female rabbits into the big cage I brought when I bought the rabbits, and let the other male rabbits roam freely on the ground.

It might be a psychological effect, but after she finished taking care of these rabbits, she felt that she was all covered in the smell of rabbit poop, even though the breeding shed in the space was equipped with automatic watering and poop shoveling functions, and she only needed to feed it simply.

She still ran to the bathroom, took out the bath ball she had exchanged for earlier, and took a nice bath before leaving.

After finishing everything, she had nothing to do again, so she planned to go to the trading market again, because the Spring Festival would be in another month.

She didn't know if she could exchange them for some red paper or couplets. When she was looking through her space, she found that she didn't have any of these things in stock.
