Chapter 51: Recapture

The innocent Lightning looked at the fancy fighting scenes in the camera with a hint of fear in his eyes. He felt that this world was too dangerous. Fortunately, his bipedal form had awakened, otherwise his cat body would be in danger.

Even when the scenes were of dangerous fighting, Lightning would nestle in He Xiaobei's arms and breathe heavily.

After watching the movie, He Xiaobei strolled to the balcony and took out a telescope to observe the situation outside.

Now snowflakes are falling outside again, and there is no trace of human activity on the ice, and of course no other living creatures.

Vines will entwine the streets and alleys, their green leaves climbing up walls and rooftops. Once neatly laid out flower beds in parks will become a paradise for wild flowers and plants. Abandoned vehicles will be covered in moss and weeds, becoming sheltered homes for small animals.

Thinking of this, she couldn't help but sigh that the power of nature was so powerful and irresistible. Although humans have created a brilliant civilization, they still seem small and powerless in the face of nature and natural disasters.
