Chapter 17 A Special Dinner
This wave of love words came unexpectedly, and my ears turned red again.
He is really good at it. Compared with his, Liang Zicheng's cheesy love words learned from TV seem sour and vulgar.
I stuffed a large spoonful of ice cream into my mouth to hide my awkwardness.
"Would you like anything else?"
I really wanted to say some more sweet words, but what came out of my mouth was "ice cream".
He raised the corner of his lips slightly and waved to the stewardess, "Another ice cream."
"Okay." The flight attendant quickly brought another serving of ice cream. After handing it to him, she said flatteringly, "Boss Xiao's baby is so cute."
He was startled for a moment, then smiled, took the ice cream and handed it to me, "Eat it, baby."
"Why don't you explain that I'm not?"
"Not what? Not my baby? I think she is right, you are my baby now." He said meaningfully.
The flight attendant clearly didn't mean that. Being misunderstood as his daughter made me feel like I was touching some taboo.
He whispered again, "I'll take you to the amusement park and give you ice cream. You don't want to call me dad, do you?"
I deliberately tilted my head to look him up and down, and whispered, "If you become my father, can I be more arrogant than Xiao Tiantian?"
His eyes darkened, and he said half-jokingly, "Of course, as long as you don't kill or set fire to anything, I can protect you no matter how much trouble you make."
Who can resist such sweet words from such a handsome guy? I immediately said with a shameless face: "Dad, I will go back during the holiday and ask my mom if she wants to remarry."
"Little devil! You've learned how to bully others."
He lowered his head and took my lips in his mouth, biting them gently, then released them and licked my lower lip with his tongue, "So sweet."
It turns out that a man licking his lips can be so sexy. My heart was moved when I saw it and I couldn't bear to take my eyes off it. It would be really painful for a person who is obsessed with looks to meet such a perfect man.
"Does it look good?" he asked me suddenly.
"It looks good." I answered shamelessly.
He laughed out loud and said softly, "There are better ones. I'll let you see them all at the hotel."
I have to slow down. If he continues to tease me like this, I'm afraid my legs will be so weak that I won't be able to get off the plane.
I closed my eyes and pretended to be asleep. When he saw that I was resting, he quietly called the flight attendant to bring a blanket to cover me. After a while, I really fell asleep.
"Baby, wake up. If you don't wake up, I will have to carry you away." A magnetic male voice sounded in my ears.
I opened my eyes dazedly, and it took me a moment to remember that I was on a plane.
The plane was already taxiing on the ground. When we got out of the cabin after it stopped, we had already arrived in City S, more than a thousand kilometers away.
Winters in the south are obviously much warmer, so I only need to wear a sweatshirt. He put my coat in his suitcase.
"Why don't you put it in my suitcase? Our suitcases are the same size."
"Your suitcase is full and there's no room." He answered naturally.
I began to wonder what he had stuffed into my suitcase. It was such a joy to travel like this where I didn't have to prepare anything, not even my brain.
When we got out of the airport, someone was already waiting to pick us up. A young man in his thirties trotted over to us, took the two suitcases, and respectfully asked, "Mr. Xiao, would you like to go to the hotel or the restaurant first?"
"Let's go to the restaurant."
We were picked up by a Lexus LM, which was much more low-key than the one in City A.
"What do you mean by eating something special?"
My family is relatively well-off, and I have eaten a lot of delicious food since I was a child. Anything that Xiao Shiqiu finds special is enough to arouse my curiosity.
“A French restaurant with something special.”
"I've had French food before. What's so special about this restaurant?" I asked curiously.
The driver in front was quite talkative. He casually said, "It's very expensive and very difficult to reserve a seat."
Xiao Shiqiu was quite easygoing and replied with a smile, "That's a precise and accurate summary."
Then he looked at me and said, "This restaurant usually requires reservations three months in advance. This time I asked someone to release someone else's reservation, so you are lucky enough to have a good meal."
The car drove to an old European-style building by the river. I followed him to the sixth floor. After entering, I was a little disappointed. The restaurant looked quite ordinary.
The waiter enthusiastically poured us a glass of sparkling wine as an appetizer and said, "Please wait a moment, we will go to the restaurant once all the guests have arrived."
Isn't this a restaurant? It's just a gathering place!
A few minutes later, the last two guests arrived and we were taken downstairs by the waiter and took a car to another place together.
Having a meal requires a transit station, which makes it seem like a spy meeting. I began to doubt the legality of this meal.
"They won't sell us all off, will they?" I asked Xiao Shiqiu in a low voice.
He hugged me in his arms and said, "Don't worry, I told you it's a special restaurant."
"Particularly dangerous?"
"naughty!"
After driving for another ten minutes, we arrived at a dilapidated warehouse. I was speechless. The environment was even worse than the old house we were in.
When I walked into the warehouse, I was surprised to find that there was a different world inside: light and shadows floated on the wall, and there was a long table in the middle. The names of the customers were projected on each seat, which gave it a very technological feel. I found my name and sat down. There were only ten customers in total, and there were more than a dozen waiters around, with someone standing next to each of them.
I whispered to him, "One-on-one service, are you going to feed me? I might not be used to it."
He laughed out loud: "Your way of thinking is really different."
Then he leaned closer to me and whispered, "Here, besides using your mouth to eat, you also have to use your eyes and ears."
At this time, the lights gradually dimmed, music started to play, and images on the four walls began to change. I suddenly remembered that this was the most expensive mysterious restaurant in S City that I had seen on the Internet, Ultraviolet by Paul Pairet!
