Chapter 604: Read Random Communication
This is surprising. I've seen firsthand how clingy Tang Yi is. "No way, that doesn't make sense. Did he ever reply to your messages?"
"He did reply, but not instantly like before. I sent messages twice, and his replies were both very short and his tone was stiff. It was completely different from the way he tried to coax me before." As she said this, she angrily took the phone and showed it to me.
One was from the night before yesterday, when Huang Tianyi asked him when he would be back, and Tang Yi replied ten minutes later, "It's too late, I won't reply."

As he spoke, he took out his cell phone and called Tang Yi. The phone rang for a long time but no one answered. It automatically hung up. Huang Tianyi suddenly became nervous, "It's over. Is he really in trouble?"
Xiao Shiqiu made a calming gesture and dialed again. Half a minute later, the call was connected. Xiao Shiqiu pressed the hands-free key and Tang Yi's weak voice rang out from the other end: "Hello, cousin, what can I do for you?"
Huang Tianyi breathed a sigh of relief and was about to speak when Xiao Shiqiu stopped her with a look. Then he said, "Ayi, why do I always have problems when I call your number?"
There was silence for a few seconds, and then Tang Yi's uncertain voice came: "Then you can use the card I have at China Merchants Bank."
Xiao Shiqiu smiled and said in a teasing tone, "Do you remember that we still have a business deal to discuss? If problems keep happening like this, the business will easily fail."
There was silence on the other side, and then a slight noise was heard, as if someone was walking nearby.
A few seconds later, Tang Yi's voice rang out again: "Alas, you can't even go to Southeast Asia. It's too dangerous there, and business there is tough! What? How much did you say?"
He gave an eight-digit number, which was Huang Tianyi's birthday. "Is it in US dollars? Then tell them and I'll go back and talk to them. Cousin, please help me keep it stable."
Xiao Shiqiu glanced at Huang Tianyi with a half-smile and continued, "I'll try to keep the list for you, but if it's too late, I'm afraid someone will have a baby..."
