Chapter 89: Fast but not lasting
I'm a bit of a Virgo, so my closet is always tidy. Seeing this pile of clothes clumped together drives me crazy!
But it was inconvenient to pack things while wearing a thick down jacket, and I would be cold if I took it off and tried to pack again. I hesitated for more than ten seconds between enduring the cold and going crazy, and finally decided to endure the cold.
It took me two hours to sort out my clothes. I decided to buy a few storage boxes tomorrow and pack all my things and send them over before returning to City A.

Seeing him frustrated, I smiled with satisfaction. During the nearly two-month winter vacation, I planned to stay at home for a week at most. It was really uncomfortable to live with Deng Sisi.
Back in City A, I have Xiao Shiqiu and Huang Tianyi, and this home doesn't seem that important to me anymore.
At dinner time, my dad came back wearing the clothes I saw in the mall.
My heart sank. It was just a guess at first, but now I felt that the fact that my dad had another family outside was probably true.

"I just got home this afternoon and will leave after the New Year."
My dad was a little surprised because every time I came back before, I would stay for at least a month before leaving.

Living in the guest room naturally means I am treated as a guest, so I have to have the awareness of being a guest. It's enough to stay for a few days. How can a guest stay in someone else's house and not leave?" My tone was calm, but anyone could hear that I was speaking indirectly.
My mother and Deng Sisi just came down from upstairs. When they heard what I said, Deng Sisi's eyes immediately turned red, and my mother became furious.
"Xia Yimeng, who are you talking about?"
I said calmly, "I'm talking about myself, what's wrong?"
My mom was about to say something, but my dad interrupted her, frowning and saying, "You knew Mengmeng was coming back for the holidays, so why didn't you make room for her?"
Deng Sisi felt even more aggrieved when she heard what my dad said, tears streaming down her face. My mom immediately said distressedly, "Mengmeng can only stay for a few days after she comes back. What's wrong with letting Sisi in? She's my niece, not a guest."

My counterattack surprised my father. In the past, I would endure the grievances silently and never resist my mother. This time, I seemed like a different person.
I refused to be bullied, and my mother was furious. "Okay, now you've grown up and learned to talk back to me. If you want to leave, just leave, and don't come back."
