Chapter Three: The Boys of That Time (Seventeen)

Chapter Three: The Boys of That Time (Seventeen)

It's as if everyone was a pro at navigating maps back in the day.

"Uncle, you're here! Come on, we're buying milk tea, pay up!" Lu Lingjun took Gu Yanjing and Nan Wan'er to buy milk tea, and when he turned around, he saw Shen Zhiwei chasing after them.

Thus, Shen Zhiwei pitifully became a payment tool.

Shen Zhiwei took a deep breath and told herself that this was her own nephew, that this was a live broadcast, and that millions of viewers were watching.

Then he noticed that Lu Lingjun bought things for everyone else, but not for himself.

Shen Zhiwei: "...What about mine? I paid for it, so don't I deserve a cup of milk tea? Lu Lingjun, have you no conscience?"

I've never seen a nephew like this before. He's not even as good as my second sister's nephew.

Lu Lingjun was taken aback, then realized he had forgotten about his "tool person". His expression turned serious, and he stuffed the half-finished milk tea into Shen Zhiwei's hand: "Uncle, I tasted it especially for you. This is the best taste."

Shen Zhiwei: "......???"

Lu Lingjun said sincerely, "Really, you have to believe your nephew."

Shen Zhiwei: "...Get lost." He didn't have such a nephew.

After Gu Yanjing shared her money-making methods with Shen Zhiwei, Lu Lingjun was sent off by Shen Zhiwei to make money.

Lu Lingjun was physically strong and earned 500 more than Gu Yanjing. If it weren't for the fact that this was a TV program filming and could be used for advertising, the arcade owner would definitely have kicked these two bastards out.

With money in their pockets, the group immediately felt more at ease and went to the supermarket to buy a lot of things, leaving them with half the money.

Originally, everyone was supposed to go home in the evening, but Lu Lingjun encouraged the two groups to have dinner together at the Shen family's house that night, so they could set off together the next day.

Nan Wan'er agreed without much hesitation.

Ultimately, Shen Zhiwei's achievements and status are far superior to hers. By acting alongside Shen Zhiwei, she is essentially riding on Shen Zhiwei's coattails.

Furthermore, she is already married and has a son, so there's absolutely no way she could be involved in any scandals with Shen Zhiwei, making her perfectly safe.

So even though Gu Yanjing looked grim, Nan Wan'er reluctantly agreed.

It was obvious at a glance that the two young people didn't get along.

In particular, Gu Yanjing was one-sidedly cold, while Lu Lingjun was one-sidedly passionate.

Shen Zhiwei asked Nan Wan'er curiously, "I heard that they went to the same school before. Did they have some kind of grudge in the past?"

Nan Wan'er waved her hand dismissively: "Oh, my son beat up your nephew before."

Shen Zhiwei's lips stiffened: "You hit him?"

Nan Wan'er nodded, looking every bit the spoiled parent in real life: "Hey, it's just kids playing around."

Shen Zhiwei's focus was no longer on the fight, but on the fact that the fight had already happened: "Yan Jing is so powerful, he actually managed to beat up Ling Jun."

The two elders in front were talking about the two younger ones, but the two younger ones in the back almost got into a fight.

Gu Yanjing was very annoyed by Lu Lingjun. Lu Lingjun was like a piece of dog poop on your foot, something you wanted to wipe off but couldn't do, and seeing him was disgusting.

Although Lu Lingjun seemed to have a good self-image.

"Yan Jing, what flavor is your milk tea? Mine is matcha."

Gu Yanjing replied, half-dead, "Original flavor."

Lu Lingjun: "Is yours good? Let me try some."

Gu Yanjing's expression instantly turned ugly, and he looked at the other person coldly.

Lu Lingjun was dumbfounded and hurriedly explained, "I won't let you taste yours for nothing; you can drink mine too."
