The next morning, the group went their separate ways, some crying uncontrollably as if they would never see each other again.
However, life is about coming and going, parting and reuniting; no one stays with anyone forever.
Gu Yanjing goes to bed late and gets up late. He only gets up after everyone else has left. He doesn't go straight home after getting up, but goes upstairs to have breakfast instead.
The Western restaurant's breakfast was a buffet. Gu Yanjing entered by scanning her face, and after sitting down and taking a bite of noodles, there was suddenly another person next to her.

"Good morning." Lu Lingjun sat down with a bowl of ramen, his smile warm, though the scar on his face made him look a bit fierce, while the white gauze on his head made the young man look somewhat sickly.
Why aren't you at the hospital?
Gu Yan glanced at the gauze on the boy's head and refrained from making a move.
Yes, she is physically disabled but determined.
"The doctor said my injury wasn't serious and that I just needed to change the dressing every day. He told me I didn't need to be hospitalized to avoid wasting public resources."
Lu Lingjun didn't rush to eat, but rested his chin on his hand and looked at Gu Yanjing.
Gu Yan's eyes still showed dark circles from staying up all night, making him look somewhat haggard. His pale face contrasted sharply with his lips, which were red from the soup, making him look very alluring.

Lu Lingjun spoke with conviction, but Gu Yanjing interrupted him directly.
"Either I'll buy you a mirror, or I'll hire someone to help you apply the medicine."
Lu Lingjun pouted: "You injured me, shouldn't you change my bandages every day?"
Gu Yan scoffed, "Are you living in a dream? You're dreaming."
