Soon after, almost everyone had arrived.
When the morning reading bell rang, the homeroom teacher came in.
Our homeroom teacher is Lin Guochao, he has a receding hairline, and he teaches politics.
He glanced briefly at the seating arrangement in the classroom and said in his local dialect, "Let's sit here for now, and we'll change seats after the next monthly exam!"

Ying Qian was particularly slow in her movements. She didn't like going to meals with the group because the pushing and shoving made it easy to fall. She had learned this the hard way, so she was wary of it.

There was a person standing in the stairwell. Hearing the noise, he finally looked up from his mini dictionary, adjusted his frameless glasses, and cast a long shadow over her. "Let's go eat."
