About 1,500 kilometers away from the present-day Yongning City, there is an ancient town with a long history and full of mystery - Shiqing City. The gate of this town stands tall, as if telling the vicissitudes and changes of the years.
Right in front of the city gate, two figures were walking forward slowly. They were Xiao Ding and Lao Wang. After two days of flying on a spaceship, they finally arrived at their long-cherished hometown.

Xiao Ding took a step forward calmly, clasped his fists and said:

The two guards were stunned at first, and then they looked at Xiao Ding carefully. After a while, one of them looked surprised and stammered:
"Xiao...Xiao Ding? You...you are the second young master of the mansion?"
Xiao Ding smiled and nodded, and replied: "It's me!"
At this moment, the two guards quickly put away their previous arrogant attitude and became respectful. One of them even bowed repeatedly and said in fear and trepidation:
"So it's the Second Young Master who has come to visit. Please forgive us for not recognizing you! Second Young Master, please come in quickly. The Master and the Madam are waiting in the hall now!"
As he spoke, the guard stepped aside to make way and gestured for invitation.
Xiao Ding nodded slightly, signaled, and then walked slowly into the Xiao Mansion with Lao Wang at a steady pace. Along the way, they saw the mansion was full of green trees and colorful flowers, which was beautiful. Led by the guards, the two passed through many corridors and finally came to the spacious and bright hall.
At this time, there were seven people sitting in the hall. On the main seat at the top, there were two figures sitting upright. The man was imposing and had bright eyes, while the woman was gentle and dignified with a pretty face. Below, there were one man and two women sitting, and behind them stood several young and energetic people.
Xiao Ding walked into the hall, and after a quick glance, he fixed his eyes on the two figures at the main seat. Then, he quickly stepped forward, bowed deeply to the two, and said loudly:
"Father, mother, I am an unfilial child. I have been away from home for many days. I just returned today and came to pay my respects to you, parents!"
The middle-aged woman sitting in the main seat had a face somewhat similar to Xiao Ding's. Time had left deep marks on her face, with wrinkles crisscrossing like ravines, but one could still vaguely see her graceful demeanor when she was young. She used a hairpin to neatly coil her white hair at the back of her head, revealing a dignified and kind look.
When she saw Xiao Ding, the love and eagerness in her eyes surged like a tide. She quickly stood up and walked forward with a slightly staggering step. She gently lifted up Xiao Ding who was kneeling on the ground, her hands trembling slightly, and then touched his face, her fingers slowly sliding across Xiao Ding's face, trying to find his former appearance through the vicissitudes of time.
"Ding'er! Let your mother take a look at you! You've aged so much!"
There was a hint of sobbing in Xiao Yun's voice, which was a sigh for the passing of time and a deep longing for her son. Her eyes lingered on Xiao Ding's face, and every wrinkle pierced her heart like a knife.
Xiao Ding felt his mother's warm hand, and an indescribable emotion surged in his heart. He gently placed his hand on the wrinkled back of his mother's hand, tears flashing in his eyes, and said in a choked voice:
"Mother, your hair has turned a lot whiter!"
These words were like a sharp sword, piercing through the years of longing and concern between mother and son.
The mother and son hugged each other tightly, tears welling up in their eyes, but they tried hard not to let them fall. They stood together, and time seemed to freeze at this moment. Xiao Ding began to slowly recount his experiences over the years, with laughter and tears. Every word was filled with his understanding of life and his longing for his family. Xiao Yun listened quietly, nodding from time to time, her eyes full of pride and heartache for her son.
